As far as Monica's sudden turn-around with Pete at 11:14, that's a real thing. I've never experienced it with a kiss like that, but I've known guys that I wasn't particularly attracted to until we danced together, and the chemistry there was enough to completely change the way I looked at them.
Works the other way around as well. I had a guy I was totally crushing on. He was so cute and handsome and perfect, he smelled amazing and his voice was soothing - the whole deal. I was so in love. Until I saw him this one single time at a party being drunk. He was annoying as hell, smelled bad and was talking shit. He didn't even interact with me particularly and I didn't even stay long, left the party after 30 minutes. But I have never again looked at that man the same way as I did before. He was like a complete different person for me now and I can't ever understand what I once saw in him.
Also, I love that Rachel is dressed like a minion before minions were a thing in the beginning of the show. I'm not even being snarky. I actually love it. I think it's adorable.
@@calmbeast1329 😆I hope you're joking. @thecocoacouch was correct... I mean, this scene could have played out a lot better if he had asked to try a kiss as a hail mary, I think Monica would have been down for it tbh. but the lack on consent is very concerning.
I completely understand how Monica could not feel any physical attraction to someone, then, once they've kissed and it was unexpectedly better than they had anticipated, they feel an attraction. It has happened to me before, so I relate to Monica in that way.
Petty Ross is so entertaining but I LOVE sweet Ross. He cares about Rachel so much which is why it is so frustrating that he ruined the relationship by doing what he did. I don't know exactly what you've seen with Ben Stiller besides Night At The Museum, and most of his movies are very goofy, but ones I recommend are: Along Came Polly (with Jennifer Aniston, Hank Azaria/David the scientist guy on Friends, Alec Baldwin and Philip Seymour Hoffman), Madagascar and its sequels (with David Schwimmer), Meet the Parents/Meet the Fockers (with Robert DeNiro), There's Something About Mary (with Cameron Diaz), Zoolander and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (which is partially filmed/takes place in Iceland - I'm a little biased because I'm from Iceland but it's actually such a good movie). Fun facts: Chandler's "Easy Lenny" to Joey is a reference to the character Lenny from Of Mice and Men, who got too excited with small animals and accidentally killed them. Matthew Perry was dating Yasmine Bleeth (from Baywatch) during this time. The guy Ben Stiller's character screams at is Peter Bonerz who directed this episode. Not exactly a 'fun' fact but Joey mentions that the job he gave up to act in the play was de-clawing cats-The State of New York outlawed this in 2019, about 22 years after the episode aired (it's banned now in 38 countries, including Australia). A lot of people don't know this but it's not the same as simply trimming a cat's nails. It's a painful and permanently crippling procedure as cats’ claws are integrated into their fingers and removing them is the equivalent of cutting off a human’s fingers at the top knuckle.
I LOVE the over the top, silent shots of Ross pantomiming behind a window, like him and the stray cat that ambushed him in S1. I wish they continued this as a running gag on the show. 🤣
Ross is actually a good guy. There are so many times that he does not show Rachel what he sacrifices to make her happy, such as the poker episode, the prom video, and now his chance to be on the Discovery Channel. He doesn't always behave in the healthiest ways, but I do think he has a beautiful love for Rachel that regularly shows through.
To me Ross can be nice to people he is attracted to when he is chasing them, but Monica and Chandler are truly great as friends. Ross also didn’t need to tell what he did.
I love your videos but specifically, the Friends reactions are my favourite! & they always brighten my Mondays because let’s be real, Mondays are atrocious.
Space Cadet…I’ve heard that before. But again only used to describe someone else by an Australian/Kiwi person. To be specific, I grew up watching many great tv shows and some of them were made in Australia and New Zealand. To name a few; Pugwall’s Summer, Halfway Across the Galaxy and Turn Left, The Tribe, California Dreams, Ocean Girl and many more. Well in The Tribe, Alice (Vanessa Stacey) calls Tai-San (Michelle Ang) a Space Cadet.
Hey! If you're looking for a Ben Stiller movie, can I recommend my favorite? The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Top tier film, Stiller is the star and he directed it. Not his usual comedy stuff, but it is funny and has touching moments 😊
You should watch the Apple TV show Severence. It was directed by Ben Stiller and its SO GOOD. Its very different from anything I'd expect from him tone wise but its brilliant! Would love to see you react to it on here!
I know you won't see this but PLEASE react to a show called "Extras" starring Ricky Gervais. Each episode has a celebrity playing an insane version of themselves, including Ben Stiller and it's PHENOMENAL. There's only two seasons, 12 episodes in total, but it is amazing.
And so Ben Stiller's film career was launched...yes, he did not have any movies out when this episode aired. One of his movies has Jennifer Aniston as his love interest, "Along Came Polly." Also, if you don't already know, his father played George Kostanza's father on Seinfeld. A talented family of character actors.
Reality Bites was a major early 90s film that came out years before this. He obviously became much more famous post-There’s Something About Mary, but he was already know and had a film career as an actor and director.
Please react to the show Severance! Ben Stiller is an executive producer and directed most of the episodes. The show is literally so so good and not enough people are reacting to it. 😢
Can you pleaseee watch Malcolm in the Middle? It's a sitcom about a crazy, but lovable family with great characters. The comedy and drama are also gold, although there are some questionable jokes but it's an old sitcom so anything else would be surprising. I love it sooooo much and since you are my favorite reactor... pleaseeeee?
Okay, here's a crazy suggestion for a show to react to. Why don't you react to "The Boys"? I kinda wanna see if your positivity will triumph, or if The Boys will manage the impossible and corrupt you! 🤣😬
There's a weird whoosh-ing sound often when you talk in this video. Mic issue maybe? Anyway... People often say that both _Friends_ and _Seinfeld_ have main characters that are terrible people, but I think the Friends are fundamental kind people. Ross at 9:01 and Joey at 18:27 are just two examples. (Of course they also do bad / regrettable things sometimes.)
As much as people love ripping on Ross, when it comes to the important stuff, he probably does more selfless things than anyone else throughout the show.
Chandler and Joey getting their pet birds is still one of my favorite storylines. Especially that argument over "parenting" the chick 😂
I love that we have spent however many episodes thinking the play was just about a couple having issues and then all of sudden - SPACESHIP!!
I actually forgot about the domestic squabbles. I thought they were starting over with a totally different production for some reason. 😂
What was that guy ON?
“Step away from the duck! “. Classic!
The fact that Chandler is getting protective of the birds was kind of sweet.
09:48 fun fact: Matthew Perry and Yasmine Bleeth were in a relationship.
I didn't know that
Chan Chan Man rizz was real.
he dated so many famous actresses, his rizz was unbelievable

The cameos will get even crazier as the show picks up 😎
the number of guest stars throughout the seasons is impressive. They will be even more famous in the seasons to come
Also, I love that Rachel is dressed like a minion before minions were a thing in the beginning of the show. I'm not even being snarky. I actually love it. I think it's adorable.
Joey was not the worst thing in his play, whoooooooo! 😆🤣🎉
Joey and Chandler having a pet Chick and Duck and becoming proud pet daddys has to be my favorite episode of season 3 in general 🤣💕🦆🐤
Can confirm that a kiss can do a 180 on attraction levels.
100% agree. I just wouldn’t teach this to guys who have been told “no” a couple times 😬
@thecocoacouch no means yes..

2019???!!!... I guess better late than never, but damn...
9:04 It's in moments like this where Ross redeems himself for the petty things he does sometimes.
I LOVE the over the top, silent shots of Ross pantomiming behind a window, like him and the stray cat that ambushed him in S1. I wish they continued this as a running gag on the show. 🤣
The one with the chick and the duck is one of my faves. The ross and rachel parts in it mainly. And that chick is adorable

Grow up@@sarasamaletdin4574
He *can* be a good guy, but he can also be toxic.... frequently. The man needed therapy to stop self-sabotaging his relationships.
I love your videos but specifically, the Friends reactions are my favourite! & they always brighten my Mondays because let’s be real, Mondays are atrocious.
People tend to forget the good things ross did for all the friends and hate him he did the most amount of kind things among all the friends
Ikr, ppl always hate him for being a douch in season 3 but forget about all the good things and advices he did throughout the show since season 1
Yeh, they flanderized him(!)
Maybe that's why Rachel never stopped loving him. Also that one mistake was not a very small one plus he did not even admit it.
@@honeysuckledreamz they were on a break
@@roronoauchiha69 doesn't matter
BTW - the dude who plays Pete went on to direct the first two IRON MAN movies.
He was originally supposed to play Chandler, but had a different commitment and backed out. That's why they later had him guest star.

I love when you call us marshmallows ❤️ im so glad you love friends, the show is amazing once you actually get into it
My Monday is complete. Thank you for yet another great reaction to Friends.
.. now I feel sad..a whole week. 😀
Thanks for the joy! 😊
"this is going to be intimate"
(Ross starts basically painting Rachel's eye)
😂
Randy Feltface is running for President and Oscar is reacting to another episode of Friends. My day is complete.
Have you seen Duplex? One of my fave Ben Stiller movies!
Perfect episodes... Lets Go to the finale and the 4th season! 💙🤩
Always love your reactions, so much fun watching Friends like this again.
I think Matthew's goatee was to hide the fact that he had lost weight.

Thank you, Oscar! ☕ Michael Lembeck and Peter Bonerz directed these two.
The Dark Knight Rises... please, thank's!!

The muffled sound of the laugh track kind of drowns you out
Sounds like a high speed plane is overhead! :))
hope he reuploads this without the wooshes
Ohhhh, _that's_ what it is? Genuinely assumed some work was being done elsewhere in the house.
