Thank you, I found this really helpful (: I've never quite understood how to serge around something without messing up the start point once I get back around to it, but now I feel like I'm ready to give this a try on the skirt I'm making.
Rhynn Jerkil when I do serge elastic, I usually start with normal settings and adjust if anything looks off. Differential I keep at 1 for elastic and stretch the elastic as I’m sewing, if needed, so the fabric lays flat. I hope that makes sense!

what settings did you use on your machines to be able to sew the elastic?
Rhynn Jerkil there’s actually not any elastic in this one. It’s just a cotton lycra waste band. 😊
