Since you're such a bloody polite chap, Harry, I'm going to go ahead and translate for you: this workout is nonsense, it's poorly structured and poorly thought out, and has some okay elements, but a broken clock is right twice a day. This is nothing but movement. If movement is you're goal, good on you. But this is supposed to get your body to change, which it won't. Where's the pushing and pulling in a "whole body" workout? Where are the pushups, the supermans, the Y raises, the floor curls? This is all glutes and "abs." This young woman can to learn from this and improve next time.
You have no idea how happy I am hearing you saying mountain climbers are not the best move for abs (i actually hate them) 😂 guess I have a real reason to skip them and do other core-focused moves 😂
Been doing home workouts for years! I think its important to progress anyway you can over time. Its taken me over 20 years to build up my home gym! I have quite a bit of equiptment now. Harry! You mention MMA! Awesome! We just invested in a punching station! Me and my husband use to spar and grapple together many years ago. Nice video! Have a great day!
Yet Caroline's You Tube workouts are heavy on some of these "hip flexor" type moves in her ab workouts, a little less so in her app and I've noticed she's doing more crunch and tuck type workouts so perhaps she's been following Harry! (mind you she does like her leg lowers which are hip flexor heavy, still can adjust to our needs!)
@@ninazadurian5111 yes! I never saw any progress with her ab workouts. Resistance and weighted abs have given me the best results. But I love all her programs
The only workout I’ve been able to stick with, is yoga. I do yoga most days. If I miss a couple of days, I start having yoga cravings 😂 The other day, I went for a run for the first time since…uh…2017, probably. I haven’t been doing cardio since the pre-plague. I assumed the run would be challenging, but I did a steady 30 minutes and it was easy. I figure it must have been the yoga, but I have no idea how my yoga practice would do that much for my cardio?
I have a love hate relationship with side planks. Like you said, great for anti rotation stability, but since I didn’t train them for a long time they’re very difficult compared to a normal plank for me.
Harry, why don't you review pilates? i love it and have seen noticeable differences after doing it for a while so i'm curious to see what you think about it
He did a video last year reviewing Pilates, but he reviewed Move with Nicole. She’s very Pilates fusion. I wish he would review someone who teaches more classical Pilates on UA-cam.
Can you review Lift with Cee, she’s new to UA-cam but I love her straightforward set up of her classes and easily understandable. Also can you review move with Nicole again but one of her Pilates with weights video? I really like Nicole too I find her classes are really we’ll set up too.
Hi Harry thanks for sharing your thoughts on the many many workout vids on YT, found them to be very eye opening! Would love to hear your thoughts on Julia Reppel's workouts and how her approach can benefit strength & fitness training. Personally I found her workout quite fresh and different. I think she has a sports science background so it might be interesting to see how that shows up in her workout videos and in comparison with other fitness UA-camrs.
This seemed if anything like a Pilates set. I do like when teachers actually alternate sides for each exercise so there isn’t total exhaustion of one set of muscles doing a sequence straight through, I have found that to be rare…I’m hypermobile so need non-jumping workouts and to keep stress off my joints. Over the years I keep going back to Hasfit, Jessica Smith, and even Gilad and Denise Austin, my first virtual instructors in the 80s. Would like to do Justine Ercole’s workouts, love her functional focus.
Jane Fonda has low impact workouts and her more intense ones you can skip the aerobics section (it’s usually first) then the mat workout/exercise after the aerobics are no jumping and is similar to Pilates! Loads of her workouts are already on UA-cam!
Everyone is copying Caroline Girvan: they use the same exercice, sames musics, sometimes same decor. I speak French and there is also a French Fitness coach who copied Caroline and she's so jealous of her, she said once "her body is unrealistic" lol. I'm glad I'm training with the best!
I've been meaning to ask, what is with the forehead jokes? It looks forehead-sized to me...? Anyways - thanks for the content, as always - I appreciate you, and hope you're doing well 😊
Hey! Can someone remind me what are Harry's favorite home workout creators? I remember it is growingannanas, but I looked through her channel and it seems she mostly have cardio workouts. I'm looking for something more strength focused
Not sure if Harry’s opinion but I love Fitness Blender’s older content. They have switched to more paid content sprinkled with free. But I have always liked their workouts. It’s definitely lighter on the equipment if you don’t have a lot and they have a lot of body weight only.
In one of his rankings he rated Heather Robertson, Caroline Girvan, Natacha Oceane and Fitness Blender positively. I follow most of them and I agree, they're really good :)
I think that eylem abaci only tryes to look similar to pamela reif....in her first workouts she even used to copy pam's descriptions amd even her moves
I wonder do you think the home workout handbook would be better than the gym one for my current only gym option? I am currently going to an community center gym that is not well equipped. Basically as many machines as can be fit in a bedroom sized room (leg press, adjustable angle chest press machine, a few other things) some adjustable benches, kettlebells and dumbbells only up to 50lb. I figure it is a plausible setup for a home gym, so not sure which one would serve me better.
@@Moose92411 thanks, moose. I was actually asking about if I want to give Harry my money and purchase a guide. If the tfnl home workout guide would be more suitable than the gym guide given the sparse equipment being maybe more similar to what someone would have at home.

I'm Turkish so I can tell you that you did not pronounce it that bad. You pronounced it actually good considering that you are not very familiar with Turkish language
Mountain climbers don't work the abdominal muscle (there is only one muscle; so forget the idiocy of lower upper abs). The abdominal muscle need to be specifically target in a way that the movement itself is being performed by that muscle with minimum involvement of the psoas.
