The daughter is the most thoughtful and well rounded of this family. Veer is my son's age so I just find very adorable ❤
Aw thank you!
@@ZarnaGarg ---- WITHOUT A DOUBT ZARNA IS THE BEST ---- SHE SPEAKS FROM THE HEART
Zara and Zoya are very wise
“A” goes to Zarna for having the guts to pursue her comedy and putting these discussions with her family online. They all are smart, honest, funny and most importantly loveable.
What an honor!!
Veer has so much valuable insight to pitch for his age. Also a sense of innocence. He def spoke up more in this episode. Of course I love listening to everyone else. I miss the sofa format a bit. That felt more personal. Please keep them coming. Best wishes
Thank you!!
A grade to Zoya for being considerate and sensitive to others.
Zoya is honest about it all. I love that she makes vegan desserts to show them how good it can be
I guess I can support this
‘A’ to Zarna for all the effort she puts in feeding her family❤
Love!
Im so happy seeing a family treating the kids as young adults and have conversations 😭💗💗💗
This whole family deserves an A grade thank you for sharing your life with us you talk about what every family goes through❤
Love love that this such a wholesome family. So open, respectful, honest with each other! Respect Garg’s!!!❤
I love this family so much! I hope to see this close bonding with my kids when they grow up!
A grade to Mama Zarna for always being understanding and taking care of everyone else’s needs❤
I love, Zarna’s priceless reactions when Shalabh talks about his mom. And Shalabh is so entertaining. I want to see his mom also on a podcast 😊
Haha!!
Please have mom on when she comes for her seasonal visit…👏🎉
A to Veer for being honest and straightforward and having simple tastes. I was the most entertained, though, by Zoya and her dad for having high-minded philosophical approaches to their gastronomical lifestyles. I love that ❤
Definitely gotta give the A to Zarna for being able to keep her cool while her husband kept shooting his shots at her lol. Also I agree with her stance about simple, home cooked meals for everyday cooking. Zarna deserves alll the appreciation!
Honored!
He is correct about intermittent fasting
An A for Shalabh! He’s so funny-stands up for himself (and his mom) while still showing so much love for his fam. Best of all, he can laugh at himself!
Haha!
Oh come on. He keeps insulting his wife while praising his mom. Let him go stay with his mom then.
Shalab is excellent . I love that the entire family is so honest
@@kirstieb8025 she never praises her dad and puts him down in the process right.
It’s all fun and sarcastic humor. Why you think they insult each other?
This is sooo good 😂😂 absolute joy watching this episode !
The price of food is skyrocketing worldwide.
Zarna is worried about food being wasted.
I totally agree with her.
Waste not, want not.
She gets an A from me.
I constantly order food but I think there are lots of easy vegetarian meal options for instance 1) vegetable Stir-Fry: Sauté an assortment of vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snap peas) in olive oil or sesame oil. Add soy sauce, garlic, and ginger for flavor. Serve with rice or noodles.
2)Spaghetti: Cook spaghetti. In a pan, sauté garlic in olive oil until golden, add red pepper flakes, and toss with the cooked pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley.
3) Grilled Cheese Sandwich: Butter two slices of bread, place cheese between them, and grill until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.
4) Quesadilla: Fill a tortilla with cheese and any desired vegetables (like bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms). Fold and grill until the cheese is melted. Serve with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
5) Vegetarian Tacos: Fill tortillas with sautéed vegetables, beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. Top with salsa or hot sauce.
6) Lentil Soup: Cook lentils with diced tomatoes, onions, carrots, celery, garlic, and vegetable broth. Season with salt, pepper, and any desired herbs.
7) Paneer Tikka Masala: Sauté paneer cubes in a tomato-based sauce with spices like garam masala, turmeric, and cumin. Serve with rice.
8) Mushroom Risotto: Slowly cook Arborio rice with sautéed mushrooms, adding vegetable broth little by little. Finish with Parmesan cheese and butter.
Stuffed Bell Peppers: Fill bell peppers with a mixture of cooked rice, beans, corn, tomatoes, and cheese. Bake until the peppers are tender.
9) Vegetarian Burrito Bowl: Layer rice, beans, sautéed veggies, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and avocado in a bowl. Top with salsa or guacamole. Now that your podcast made me think how much money I am spending on everyday food, I think I will start cooking at home
Thank you so much!!
This family is soooo amusingly loving & genuine...the dad is so sweet...Zarna is funny..I give them each an A..love it how the Dad prsises & respects his Mother....
Omg this was beyond hilarious... good way to start a Monday morning... you guys are so fun to listen to
Haha!!
just finished watching and I have tears in my eyes laughing and my stomach hurts. The absolute chaos towards the end, the grades, the Yogis, the therapist! OMG 🤣
Shalabh takes it away for quality information about fasting etc infused with hilarious humour and banter, all while sounding so innocent and adorable ❤
A for the kids for supporting the Mom in all this. Because I can't imagine many children being so supportive!
I can support that!
This was a laugh riot. 😂
Thank you. ❤
this entire episode was hilarious 🤣😭😭 this sounds like me and my family 🤣🫶🏽🫶🏽
A to Shalabh for being so funny and was totally entertaining to watch . I am from India so never gave so much thought to daily cooking . Your show was an eye opener.
This is a beautiful family. Inside and out. I love all their dynamics.
Absolute joy watching this. You go Zarna!!
A+million to you 🙂
A for Shalabh!! For his humor😂
A for Zarna for putting this together ❤️
Honored!
This is so fun, I haven’t laughed this hard even in a comedy show. ❤
Love this family and love the show.
I watch this family podcast because you usually pick very interesting topic. The discussions are done so well and funny as well❤❤❤
Awesome family discussion
Love the way shalab brings his mother into everything..
Amazing kids. Love the way u r addressing every issue we r struggling with zarna. Thank u n God bless yr family
You guys are hilarious…
Shalab is getting better with his comedy..
ZOYA my all time fav .. She is adorable
Haha so glad!!
A to Zarna Garg.... such a social caring women.. the way, you carry the show of your family members is not easy at all... ❤❤❤❤
Exactly my family. I fight the same battles without solutions.
Brij's grading of everyone else is a podcast in itself 😆
Don't give him ideas!
I have the same problem with my family- especially when Zarna says she feels like she ends up throwing 1/2 of the groceries out cause they go bad- it’s a big problem and I see my money just go in the garbage can! Love your show ❤
Super fun...I put all the snacks and nuts in containers so it is easy for kids to close and put it away...it won't get spoiled 😄...100% agree on how expensive groceries are newer days
Love these guys! ❤️❤️❤️
A+ to Zarna for being brave enough to do this.
I am just so happy that I get to live in India and eat my mom's nicely cooked yummy vegetarian meal everyday.
Haha the best!!
When I had all four of my kids at home, each one got to pick what they wanted me to make for dinner once a week. That way they each had at least one night that they ate dinner without complaining. I always expected at least one “Eww, yuck” comment at each meal. I would remind them that their turn to choose was coming. The most important thing is that the family sits down together for dinner EVERY night.
Beautiful family and children. It is natural for opinions to differ, and every mother tries to reconcile all differences in her family.
You guys are amazing . Really a family.
Zarna, I just love your show. It feels so relatable, the whole family banter and everything. It feels absolutely real and authentic. And shalabh is so damn funny, he brings all the zest and twist to your show by bringing in most controversial and contentious topics. 😂 I love your these shows more than any standup comedy. Looking forward to more such episodes.
PS: A grade goes to zarna in today's show. 😊
Love all your podcasts! My favorite is Shalabh!!! A for Shalabh!
I award an ‘A’ to all of you. You have a wonderful family Zarna and I thoroughly enjoy your family podcasts. The topics are very relevant, not just for Indians but also for families in general.
Zarna you and your family need a Netflix or Hulu reality show asap😂 Me and my grandma love watching you guys. God bless you and your family🙏❤
I love the way that they discuss things
You are not alone in this Zarna! My children are 3 and 7 now and I can already imagine in years to come I will have the same dilemma. Thankfully the husband and I have similar/predictable eating habits
Also shalabh gets the A for somehow getting his mom involved in this whole conversation
1. palak paneer with roti for spinach lovers. (Paneer can be made at home with milk)

Thankyou for reading such long comment i hope few of recipes can be helpful. All the best wishes for Garg family.
Love all of you. So very real.
A to chhole bhature. You can make the dough and keep it in the refrigerator. You can make chapatis (naan) if you don't like deep fried poori.
watched all the episodes in one go.... waiting for the next already...... 😄😄
The banter is hilarious!
Wow thanks for discussing this cost and waste of food. Like that is a really issue now with families with older children and everyone is pretty much working and busy or on different schedules. We did the boxed food system which worked but is pricey and I wanted menus I am more familiar with was my issue with ordering. My daughter really enjoyed following the recipes.
I absolutely love your family ❤️
You guys are awesome and I enjoy your shows keep up the good work
In India rice, chapati, vegetables and dal is the basic food , and millet is also done there which is very healthy,
"Do not sit everywhere and tell everyone how to breathe and not breathe." 🤣🤣🤣
I think Dad should get the A; because a Mother’s Love is unconditional!!!🥰
I loved every second of this. This was so wholesome.🎉 please visit india soon.
Each get an A but dad gets A+. Shalabh reminds me of my dad (from Bombay) and his comparison of his mother's cooking talents with my mom😂😂😂😂😂😂.
This is the best podcast! 😂
I give Shalabh the 'A' grade for this podcast!! Funny intentionally and otherwise. I like the fact that he's trying to crack jokes (e.g. the spinach bit) and venturing into unchartered territory and putting everything on the line by praising his mom. I'd love to see Shalabh crack even more jokes in the future!!
They should have a sitcom.
Can't wait aunty Zarna! You are the best. Keep representing ❤
The fact that we are what we eat is true as when I stoped eating meat and sugar foods and lived on veg i felt really good like a beautiful flower and the food was slow burning and didn't weigh much so I was able to move around a lot more comfortable than I ever had before and i felt happy energy from the food
I love the way Brij and Veer call Zoya "didi". Sweetesr thing. My younger daughter calls her older brother "anna" and i hope it continues 😅
Sweet fly . I love you Garg family ....wishes from Coorg India❤
I cook 3 - 4 different dishes in large quantities every week. Each week menu will cover both western and asian dishes. Whether we eat together or not, we eat whatever that is home cooked. Ordering out is a rare once or twice occasion a month. Steaks is only on birthdays or celebratory occasion. We spent less than $400/month for 3 people none of whom are vegetarians. my kids are asked to provide dinner at least once during winter break. my son makes good fried rice and my daughter makes wonderful teriyaki salmon.
Besan chilas, or any chilla is a great meal to eat as family. It's like a crepe and can be stuffed with veggies and cheese.
I love this family.
Ive been rewatching episodes because your podcasts are so entertaining! Shalabh (sorry if I misspelled it) is hilarious with his random comments, telling your son to stand up and show everyone his 6pack all the time. 😂
Thank you Shalabh for sharing about IM and for saying "I am nothing if not flexible!" I love how the whole family is laughing and smiling and you are just wonderful. A grade for the family, Zarna, Zoya, Brij, and Shalabh. Veer gets the A+ because he is the youngest and he is so composed and adds meaningful content at a young age and we all admire how his siblings support him. Shalabh made me laugh out loud with the A for his mom!!!!!!!! HILARIOUS!!!!!!! YOU GUYS ARE TOO MUCH, go Zarna, keep going, we all need you!
These podcasts are like family therapy. All families should have such discussions on various topics. This is a family communication masterclass especially for indian families.💯
well
I agree the difficulty in keeping up buying, cutting, cooking cleaning..and if you have little ones..feeding is another task..but homemade food wins..if you train every family member to learn to
cook!
A+ for Shalabha.
My husband has vicariously started living through Shalabh, when he profusely praises his Mom 😂. Shalabh is definitely a beacon of hope for all Indian husbands and their love for their Moms.
No!!
Shalabh uses his mother to trigger Zarna and then gets upset when zarna speaks truthfully about the mother in law. F for shalabh. A for veer for understanding the questions.
such a gorgeous family!!
I laughed so much at this. You should all try Trinidadian style pumpkin and roti (my comfort food).
I just want to say this is very relevant.
We go through everything. Groceries are expensive and things go bad quickly
I can totally understand this…we are a family of 3…my husband, my cat and I. And I swear the three of us can never agree over 1 meal 😑
I love Zoya 🎉. She is wonderful and loves her mom. Also she reminds me of my daughter . She is in the USA now. So fun to see you all
Loved the banter!!! @Shalabh stop pulling Zarna's leg at every opportunity (btw Mango Lassi is made with yogurt/curd not milk) and for the first time Shalabh outed himself with his logic of intermittent fasting and laughing at himself as soon as he said spinach. Zarna you deserve all the love in the world and an "A" for managing so many different choices. Contrary to normal belief, a usual Indian household in India still eat a common meal with probably just snacking differently in the evening. @Brij: John Abraham and Virat Kohli - the popular Vegans for you to check on! @Gargs Do try a normal kheer with jaggery before going to bed sometime, its homemade, its heavenly! ❤
Thank you!!
So interesting. Also make me laugh 😂 so much ❤😂❤😂
Shalabh's A grade for mom was hilarious😂😂😂😂😂
Omg not that
The way the kids defended yogis and yoga, 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Saute everything. Have all veggies and meats ready to cook in a wok. Add favorite spices. Easy for everyone to cook for self.
Shaleb is most entertaining of you call and I can listen to an hour long podcast of him talking about IIT, UP, his mom, dal rice and India.
INDIAN FAMILY FOR THE WIN!!!! Ya'll are so funny just being yourself. 🤣
"Those who don't get into IIT get into Stanford" As someone who's JEE results were out yesterday, highly relatable :(
Zarna gets the ‘A’ grade for all her efforts!!
Love this family ❤
'people who don't get into IIT get into stanford'. That Is SO TRUE! 😂
When Zarna brings in family. Zoya is like- whatever you say mom, veer- why am i punished, brij- where is my popcorn and shalabh- whatever i will have my agenda like intermittent fasting but since zarna is my wife its my husbandly duties to indulge her and hence i am here!! Doesnt matter the tooic, these people are just hilarious
I like how mom is right in the center of the four at the side... THE BOSSSSSSSS...lol... commands going top left, top right, bottom left and bottom right
Veer needs education on what being a vegan means and nutrition in vegan food! Kudos to Zoya for standing up for vegans :) ♥
Haha for real!
Hilarious. Do they not notice the one meal they can all have together, & from this conversation seem to already is breakfast.
Funny is the best way to raise kids.
Bravo 👏
☮️💪❤️😊☯️
Bif fan of this family! Every person is precious! Shalabh is really good !
Thank you!!!
Lol Shalabh is a legend, A for him…Love the banter 😅
