I love how many giftable projects are in this list. I’m trying to build up a bit of a gift stash for last minute occasions and I think the pot holders, wine totes, placemats, coasters and market bags look like perfect gift options.
Just had to comment to say that hanks to you I recently re-discovered crochet after a few years, and as soon as I picked up the hook I couldn't believe I ever stopped, it's just 'my' craft and I love it so much. Your videos are so inspiring and your personality so warm and joyful. I'm bingeing them all! And currently crocheting the Juniper Cowl. Thank you Toni 😍
You are so fun to watch! I think it's time to try a basket - I love baskets but have been dragging my feet on trying to make one. Thanks for the encouragement! And I finally bought your book and can't wait for its arrival. 😺
I love idea of the chapstick holders. I thinking of making a few for Christmas. I've honestly never made a lot of those. I usually make doilies and lap blankets. I'm planning on making a cardigan out of the doilies I make this year. It'll be a summer one for next summer.
I've have literally looked at several lists like this and yours had the most of things Il end up making! The last 3 years I've given my fellow preschool teachers & boss watercolor painting for Christmas, but this year I'm going to crochet quick crochet gifts, some Christmas others general and your list was perfect! Thank you!
That flower hexagon shirt is everything!! I'll need some more practice before I'm ready to tackle that, though. I'll stick with the crochet hook case for now lol
I love the bandanas, placemats and coasters, ice cream and yarn cozies. I would never make the bralette, and I struggle with finding more modern- looking granny squares - the ones I see always remind me of the 1970s which is not my favorite era. I’m open to ideas on grannies, though!
Thank you for a fabulous video! I’m a beginner but I have a huge yarn stash that could provide me the material for many of these projects! I like to make market bags, so that’s definitely on my to-crochet list, along with the mesh purse, phone holder, bookmarks and amigurumi. I won’t say I’ll never make clothing, but as a beginner, I’m rather intimidated by wearable projects. Have a beautiful day! ❤
I want to make most of the things you suggested, especially the bucket hat, Crochet basket, granny squares and the bags......Well done TL you have Aced it again: giving us a master class in quick projects. Love you girl!!!!
Such great ideas! Two more are dish scrubbies-I like to take my sturdy acrylic scraps and make a hyperbolic scrubbie. If anyone likes making charity items, preemie hats are fast, fun, and give a great deal of satisfaction.
This is my first time watching a video of yours, and your voice is so soothing. I feel like you're definitely someone I would come to for a hug when I'm having a bad day...
Hi Toni, I appreciate you for taking time out to share with us all the beautiful crafts we can make. I have been crocheting for awhile off and on, it's so much for me to learn. Also I enjoyed the video with you and your Mom, having someone else that enjoys what you do is inspiring and encouraging too. It builds confidence to keep up with the gift of Crochet. I live in Maryland looking for classes, or is it a Group to sit with those who can relate with each other by sharing our projects and learn new patterns from one another. I do a lot of frogging my projects, I have yet to master the stitches into a pattern of my liking. I was recently asked by my daughter in love to crochet a throw blanket for her GMA for her to carry with as she goes to Dialysis. I have until the last week in June to be done. I am open for suggestions from all who will read this. Thanks a lot, Blessings to you all.
I love so many of these!!! Thank you for these fantastic ideas! I'm all about the cell phone and chapstick holders, and definitely want that cream colored bralette!! Love your channel Toni!!
I'm pretty new to crochet, can't wait to try some of these quick spring/summer projects and keep learning! Your beginners videos have been so great as well. So happy to find this channel, I love how positive you are, you radiate joy about the craft in the best way! 🌞
Like clicked first always 😂❤🎉..have a stack of bowl cozies...and baby lovies...try and be prepared for visits with friends &/or Dr office...😊...and always thought of bralettes for young skinny babes...but maybe need one for this old and chunky granny..😅😂😮
So many ideas! I love the chapstick holder - very unique and great gift idea. Maybe I need placemats? And never thought about just starting a stack of granny squares without a plan. Thank you!
My sweet Toni! Thank you for all the hard work you do to bring us all the amazing content you do including your wonderful tutorials. A special thank you for focusing a bit more on Tunisian crochet. I love the look of Tunisian and one of my goals this year is to try it out and eventually get to an intermediate level at least. I was gifted your wonderful well put together Tunisian crochet book ( signed by you of course, I wouldn’t have it any other way 😂) and I can’t wait to do some of the projects. (Eventually probably of them. ) 😂 As for what I will be making for quick projects in between the many blankets I’ve started, I think I will be doing a little of everything you showed 😂 I am just extra that way! Being from Queens, New York 🗽 your mom’s neighboring borough , how can I not be extra. Like today, I went to Joann’s to pick up that new Bernat Lattice yarn which looks awesomely funky , and since they had not put them out in shelves yet, I ended up with a haul that I was not supposed to get. I did pick up new yarn 🧶 I did not know about that I love. I just have no control in a yarn store 😂 anywho sorry for rambling, again I’m just extra extra! 😂 love you My darling Toni! 💙🥰😘
I started crocheting last year with an 8 foot crocodile (yeahhhh) and now I’m trying to find fun items that don’t take forever. I literally never thought of coozies! Or cell phone holders 🤦♀️ thank you for this video, I can’t wait to start all the new projects!!
Lookin good, Toni! I love your sweatshirt and that orange is amazing on you! So many cute projects to try...I'm going to see what yarn I can use from my stash to make a spring headband for my daughter.
You are awesome! I love this list, and I love your energy. I’m not certain what project I would start with. I love the bandannas! The Chapstick holder? I didn’t know I needed that! You certainly have inspired me. Thank you.
Sooooo much inspiration here! Thanks a mllion for curating this list for us, Toni, you are a star! The little scarves are adorable, I plan to make a ton of those! I think the bralette and I will not be making friends any time soon but I love everything else on the list.
Hi I'm new to your channel and I must say I love your videos so much. I just watched your "How to Plan Your First Temperature Blanket" video and now I just spent 150 dollars on new yarn to use on my first ever temperature blanket
Thank you for your videos! ❤ I'm about a day into learning (still trying to make even chains & control my tension) and am looking forward to the day I can take on one of these beginner projects. Hopefully, I can keep the momentum going & learn from you for months, maybe years to come.
You totally outdid yourself. There are so many cute ideas to choose from. I love ear cat, rabbit, wolf. I see some in my headphones' future ❤❤❤ thank you
My big project is a nice big blanket for my MIL and I already paused to make a lil purse and a shrimp between 2 and 3 skeins in on the blanket. Pausing for smaller projects works 100%
Thank you for this, I'm still a beginner I just started crochet 1 month ago so i dont know much hacks but for this video i am so thankful that i have some things to do when im bored. Keep doing what your doing, Be Positive ❤
As a beginner, I love your videos! So inspiring and encouraging. I want to try the phone holder, hat and if I'm feeling brave, the mesh top. Thanks for all your great ideas❤
I am a new crocheter and am loving my temperature blanket, but it is a small daily commitment and would like some smaller projects to learn and practice new stitches and techniques.
Hi Toni! I found your channel a few weeks ago and have been enjoying your podcast videos while working on my wips and have also been learning the basics for Tunisian crochet from you. I wanted to ask you if you could maybe make a tutorial video on short rows, specifically on short rows on the backs of raglans? You’re such a good teacher, that would be really great…
Wow so much time that you've put in this video! I really enjoyed it and the idea of making a garland with bees, and maybe some flowers is so nice. I'm gonna start thinking about it. I'm a knitter, but sometimes I really get the urge to crochet something, but it has to be quick, because after a couple of days I want to go back to my knitting. Last year I discoverd the Onesiegurumi patterns, it's a really easy and fun way to crochet a cute, but detailed, animal. And you don't have to sew anything. There are a lot of patterns from this one designer on ravelry and they're all so cute. The first one I've made took me a while, but now I can make them in a couple of days, sometimes even in a weekend.
I made a tiny scarf with pom poms a couple of years ago for my sister for Christmas. I called it a scarflet. Not sure that is even a thing...haha. It was quick and easy to make and was very cute!
Love these ideas! I just made a round placemat/trivet from t-shirt yarn and I love it. It’s very sturdy. And I’ve been making cozies for my potted plants, too. My next project is a baby blanket for a friend with a newborn. ❤
I just got super excited about the Yarn Cozy, because I recognized that first picture being a Knitty Natty pattern, I’ve done one of her crochet, and currently working on my second knit yarn cozy from her too.
Great video! There are a few things I didn't know I needed. I'll be checking out the cell phone bag and the chap stick holder. They would be great for hiking. Love the sweatshirt btw!
Oooooooo, you're inspiring me to make this pineapple tea cozy I've been meaning to make! And I have leftover scraps from my AdventUrous Scarf with minis from your collection with Sewrella that I want to make a yarn cozy with! I also love making kindle sleeves, but maybe I'll try modifying the pattern and add a strap this time!
Thank you so much for all the great ideas I sell my crochet and I have spring and summer shows coming up so I need those quick projects and cute summer items
“Yes I will thank this black woman”
This was inspiration for me! ❤️❤️
Also something I just thought of - Ice pack bag! I feel like I'm in an infomercial every time I have to wrap an ice pack around a kitchen towel
Omg this is too real 😅 so glad no one can see me when I struggle to wrap it up 😂
Brilliant 👏 👏 👏 👏
That little tail showing up at 11:46, sweet
Little Sheba girl reminding us that she’s never too far away ❤
I love how many giftable projects are in this list. I’m trying to build up a bit of a gift stash for last minute occasions and I think the pot holders, wine totes, placemats, coasters and market bags look like perfect gift options.
Great idea
A gift stash is such a great idea!
You’ve done your homework Toni . My favorite scarf happens to be by the one and only Toni herself “ The Lamia Scarf “ I loved making this
A yarn cozy? Are you kidding me?! Something I never knew I needed! ❤️ Off to make one...or 4 😂
❤😂😂 I know right…. I love that so hard!
I’m already dropping a like because I KNOW it’s gonna be good. Much love ❤
Same here! ❤
Same
Me toooo I just love her videos!!!
I won't make the cotton cloth because I hate the way cotton yarn feels- but I will totally make market bags and coasters! Thanks for all the ideas!
You have officially commandeered every one of my weekends through June. Thank you.
Can I just say, that color is fabulous on you!
Wow, so many great ideas! I’ve done several-head kerchiefs, coasters, the crochet hook holder, beanies, purses. Live quick projects!
You are so fun to watch! I think it's time to try a basket - I love baskets but have been dragging my feet on trying to make one. Thanks for the encouragement! And I finally bought your book and can't wait for its arrival. 😺
a yarn cozy literally makes so much sense tbh
If you have a cat, cat toys are a great super fast project to work on! I made 4 taco shaped catnip mice in like an hour or less 🥰
I love idea of the chapstick holders. I thinking of making a few for Christmas. I've honestly never made a lot of those. I usually make doilies and lap blankets. I'm planning on making a cardigan out of the doilies I make this year. It'll be a summer one for next summer.
Now the real challenge...which project first?? So much yarn, so many possibilities... Thanks for the ideas!! ❤
I've have literally looked at several lists like this and yours had the most of things Il end up making! The last 3 years I've given my fellow preschool teachers & boss watercolor painting for Christmas, but this year I'm going to crochet quick crochet gifts, some Christmas others general and your list was perfect! Pot holder, headband, cup koozie, wine carrier
I believe the granny square is supposed to have the old notion
So many great ideas. One I’d like to add is a book cover/sleeve!
Thank you so much for this I was only looking for 2 or 3 ideas but now I have 10 on my list!! Just in time for the holidays!!❤❤
Your channel is the best! you always make me so excited to try new things ❤

My go-to project for some instant, finished object gratification is a dish scrubbie made from some 6" wide tulle from a spool.
I'm pretty new to crochet, can't wait to try some of these quick spring/summer projects and keep learning! Your beginners videos have been so great as well. So happy to find this channel, I love how positive you are, you radiate joy about the craft in the best way! 🌞

My big project is a nice big blanket for my MIL and I already paused to make a lil purse and a shrimp between 2 and 3 skeins in on the blanket. Pausing for smaller projects works 100%

I like the yarnbaskets in the rustic option. I will never crochet a bra, but the crocheted plants interested me. 😊
Thanks for another fun video! Probably the yarn cozy - those cakes always fall apart and now they won't.
I made a tiny scarf with pom poms a couple of years ago for my sister for Christmas. I called it a scarflet. Not sure that is even a thing...haha. It was quick and easy to make and was very cute!

Thank you TL we needed this!
Great video, Toni! Just more added to my never-ending list! The kitty tail is the best. 😊
