Hey Extreme Philly Fishing aka leo can u go to Alabama and micro fish dude it is so many cool species there including the spot sunfish, Alabama shiner and tri color shiner and large sale stone roller! And plenty more
Hey Leo! That catfish shares a lot of characteristics with a black madtom catfish. Definitely worth a second examination. Everyone like this so he can see. Thanks!
I just found your channel (2/3/22). Snow still coming down (7"), but I got to go fishing thru you. Thanx for teaching...to a life-long learner. Tight Lines Forever!
With school starting up again, your videos have been tremendously relaxing and fun. I’m sure many people here can relate to chilling out by watching EPF after a long, arduous day of school. Keep it up, Leo!
I would love to see you do a video fishing in the iowa Great Lakes! Your chances of catching a Muskie are very high there! Would be interesting to see what species you catch there as well!
Leo my man that's were i fish just about every other day the white river at 10th street all the way south to the Michigan street bridge, for smallmouth, spotted and largemouth bass, i was there fishing that friday August 20th in the afternoon, i wish i could of meet you on the water, would of been so cool, can't wait for the next Indy vid, keep up the good work!!!
Those quillback carpsuckers are a sign of a very healthy river. Here in South Eastern michigan, they come up river at the end of the steelhead run and spawn, and they hit pink worms in the mouth and you're constantly hooking/snagging on trout lures. Its fun and crazy and you think you have a steelhead but its a carpsucker
I just love your intros... The way you speak to the camera but make me feel like you are speaking to all of us. and explain everything perfectly.. I always enjoyed watching you fish along rivers aswell.. 👍
nice video brother, Im a few hours north of Indy and there are lots of mottled sculpins, blacksided darters, Johny darters and white suckers up here in lagrange county indiana.
0.8 seconds after you pulled that sucker out of the live well I thought "is that a quilback?" I have never caught one but they are one of the species in central Canada I have yet to catch. It's in my sights.
If you come back to Indiana I got a perfect spot for mottled sculpin. It looked like you still need it for your life list. These are state record sized too.
Hey Leo! I love your videos! I would love for you to fish for goldfish in NJ. I heard that there is a dam in the town bordering the east of Edison with 9 pounders!
Hey Leo you should try running very light braid to fluorocarbon leader. It will help with your hook up ratio and save you money on changing out your line so much.

I love your fishing videos they are amazing, you are a very successful fisherman Congratulations!👍🎣 God bless you always!
7 am and humid AF! I don't miss the East Coast or East of the Rockies for that matter, during the Summer months! Here in the PNW has gotten hot, record heat. But it's not that bad, maybe a couple of weeks that's it's unbearable, but for the majority of the Summer it's bearable. Hell, here in Oregon (Portland Metro) we had a few days that stayed in the 60s in August! And it actually rained!
Upstream bro. The lower ends of Indiana streams will be more silty due to agriculture. Head much further upstream for rocky substrate. Quillback carpsuckers are VERY common here and Johnny darters are all over the place, but you need rocks and swift water. Upstream in Fall Creek.
When I sight fish suckers, much like trout, you can see when they get the hook in their mouth because they will try to shake it out. That’s when you set the hook and hold on!
Hey Leo if you go to Memorial lake in Grantville PA there are a lot of emerald shiners. That is where I got mine for my list. The lake also has tons of other fish like Bass, sunfish, trout, pike, and some musky.
I caught my first bowfin yesterday in Georgia. I’m from Jersey so I’m on your same mission, trying to get some lifers lol. My next targets are long nose gar, spotted gar, shoal bass and spotted bass. Let’s hope we have some luck am I right
@@snakeeyes9246 I have had experience with them in Sweden and I just want to warn you, they can be very tricky to get on the hook! And if you have the wrong equipment you are done for! They fight like Mike Tyson ngl, one of my favourite fish to catch! Good luck
I recently caught 3 new species on lure... I just one session. A Lizardfish, Largespot Pompano and a Super Klipfish! I managed to get some footage as well!
Any chance you would share a good spots location? I'm Indianapolis amd have tried desperately to find my 7 year old obsessed kiddo a spot and I've failed him 110%, I gotta find something because he's becoming so discouraged. He will catch and release
Broooo, I gotta know, what bait are you using on the tanago? I get good results with these tiny little soft plastic maggots, but I'm always looking to up my game
Just a quick question Leo: Did you not catch a sand shiner back in Pittsburg? Remember the video where you landed your first ever smallmouth Buffalo? I thought you have landed a sand shiner back then.
That is the smallest quillback I've ever seen lol Leo my man! Half way threw EPF started to accept the F.... I'm like no no way n boom the sand shiner then this bad boy ^ your the reason I know alot of smaller species and wont give up on a fish after 30 mins. My have been a judge with Kenneth Tse with 1000+ species but u my man have taught more. Sry Ken your to university teacher lol even thos Leo uses Latin
Bruh. That's the smallest Flathead Catfish I've ever seen. I'm yet to catch any catfish that isn't a Brown Bullhead, but I would probably target the 20 pounders.
Nice work out there brother! If you didn't land that sucker, I would have sent you a pic of me marrying my first wife, 100% sucker, latin name Homo sapiens Bufoonus😆

There is also the possibility of it being a different species of madtom due to their drastic color differences from location to location
Awww... that catfish was so cute 😍❤
I love when epf catches a new species he gets so hype.
I think he’s on “happy pills”.

I love your reaction when you catch a new a-species, e-slay on Leo! EPF is my favorite fishing channel!
New species back to back love these Indianapolis vids
Wow ,I guessed Quillback carpsucker! You are stacking up the species Leo!
Man that excitement gets me every time! Keep doing you EPF no matter what the haters say!

Nice video . . . . glad you are checking some lifers off your list!!!!
That baby flathead was cute! I want one!! 😁
You're at you best when you're chasing lifers! Great video!
That tiny flathead catfish and carp sucka deserves some kind of a reward 😂

Your passion and knowledge are so mesmerizing.

Nice video. Would love to see you take on Lake Erie. Maybe get that musky.
I love to fish Fall Creek for smallmouth, but I enjoy catching ALL varieties. I live in Indianapolis. TLF!

"Who's the wEiner noooWWWW?" -Leo!!
Congrats Leo! 👍🏽😎🎣
You should come down to central Texas and chase some Guadalupe Bass. The San Antonio River is loaded with them, and has pretty decent biodiversity.
Hey Leo! I love your videos! I would love for you to fish for goldfish in NJ. I heard that there is a dam in the town bordering the east of Edison with 9 pounders!

You should send the baby flathead clip to River Certified 😅
That looks like a madtom - small species of river and creek catfish that hide under rocks and structure they look exactly like baby flatheads.
It’s a flathead for sure I was thinking that but I knew it was a flathead bc the markings and that notorious big mouth
Come do a species assessment in by the Milwaukee River bro!
Fall creek is an amazing smallmouth spot. Run off of Geist reservoir(premiere lm bass location) not unusual to catch 3lb plus smallmouth.
That catfish you caught may be a freckled madtom
I live about 2 hours north-northwest of Indy. If you want suckers come and fish the Iroquois River. White suckers and redhorse everywhere.
When I sight fish suckers, much like trout, you can see when they get the hook in their mouth because they will try to shake it out. That’s when you set the hook and hold on!
Do a species accessment for New Mexico and come fishing with me!
Welcome to my state!
Leo: "I caught up on some sleep."
Also Leo: "I'm fishing by 7:00AM."
Me: "How do those two make sense?"
Hey Leo if you go to Memorial lake in Grantville PA there are a lot of emerald shiners. That is where I got mine for my list. The lake also has tons of other fish like Bass, sunfish, trout, pike, and some musky.
Yo! how do you remember all those cientific names??? i can barely remember the sunfish "mola mola" hahahah thats crazy!!
Thanx for the scientific facts. I hit the bell. TLF
Awesome quillback! Not an easy species.

Hey Leo ! What affects do you think the flooding of the Schuylkill river will have on the fishing around the art museum area ?
Just caught a South American Green Darter in Pleasent Run.
Yesss I couldn’t wait!

I am currently at 99 on my list...I just need one more to hit my yearly goal
I didn't see a log perch on your list. Have you caught one of those?
When arw we going to see some carp fishing?
Random question. Have you ever caught a Sacramento perch? I never heard of them till the other day?
My best catch was catching this video 5 minutes after you posted it lol
