I just bought this game on PS2 about a month ago because I never got to beat it as a kid. Big mgs fan. I didn't notice this on my play through I was very confused when Raiden was on the codec discussing the fact he witnessed someone in a cardboard box. Then i saw this video. Made me laugh really hard.
My favorite thing about this is snake says “I’ve already lost a couple thanks to you” because you get two different cardboard boxes mere minutes before the end of the tanker segment that you never even get a chance to use lol
The cardboard box really is useful. youd think it was a joke but so many uses. less visible on patrol unless you're in their way... they'll take alot of time scanning it before lifting it (giving you time to plan a surprise attack. practically negates being caught as soon as its lifted, gunpoint... or chokehold. even the search party guards check it out albeit faster. but you cant hold em gunpoint. you can chokehold. ofc remaining motionless infront of a camera (despite that the cameras can spot knocked out guards and not the random box that appeared) plus, literally in the metal gear (not solid~) series, there was a bucket that made you immune to bullets (but not trampling) lol.
So uh.. wheres the metal gear game that paints snakes story that we all play through as his time during pliskin? Where is the legend of pliskin? Like a halo 3 ODST spinoff unlike their stupid zombie game spinoff. I want this scene receeated in 8k with the proper cinematics and throw backs to maximize nostalgia and empty my wallet. I want to play as boss from mgs2 and play as the boss during his youth to when he put on that armor. I want a dedicated game to jack and boss, frank jaeger when he was alive. Cmon i want a game where you play as gray fox as a solider then as a cyborg. I want the stories to intertwine, paint whay he missed in game only talked about. Vr missions for the cyborg, they have mgs rising and all the code to make anything. What a waste.
I love how disappointed Pliskin sounds here after Raiden says the box looks dumb.

It's basically the only way you can crouch walk in the pre-MGS4 games.
@@cookieface80 oh heck that too. biggest example is Strut E was it? literally "crouchwalk" through the conveyer room. (not to mention the fast travel)
