The RIGHT translation should be "the Son of Human" and GOD is not male or female. European language always distinguishes gender, and it makes misunderstanding due to language differences.
Mostly that's true. But Jesus never died because he is spirit, not body. We are changing our minds, being born again to know who we really are. The process is called metanoia. Then we know we never became evil because God's pure creations can't. We are all still innocent. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent.
Mark 14:62: And Jesus said, “I am, and you will see The Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.”--- Jesus is not "a" son of man but "The Son Of Man", The second Adam.
@@urbanecobeauty Hi! You're right, He is The Son of Man, but he is also called the "last Adam". "Second" indicates that there will also be a third and so on, but "last" means Jesus is the last Adam. There will never be another Adam. "And so it is written, 'The first man Adam became a living being.' The last Adam became a life-giving spirit." 1Cor. 15:45 God bless you!! :D
@@jcandye1 Yes Jesus (Yeshua) is the last and final Adam - there doesn't need to be anymore, nor will there be. :) He finished it. - But the first Adam failed, so Jesus is also known as the second Adam who finished what the first Adam could not do. Jesus then will reign as King for 1000 years at his second coming, over all the earth. - Thy Kingdom come on Earth as it is in heaven. Jesus millennial reign. / A second doesn't mean there needs to be a third. There is no third, nor is there a third chance after resurrection. 2 chances, no third chance for anyone.
Folks.. It is better if we also search for the truth in our bible and pray for God's Holy Spirit to help us understand His word.. I've been depending on UA-cam to know God.. Mozinwrath But the Bible says in Acts 17:11, “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” We should, also, of our own accord, search the scriptures on our own. Perlas is right....we need to consistently seek out a relationship with Him. Always listening to man tell you what God’s Word says can be dangerous. We need to search the Word, whether the things others speak in the name of God are true. Be blessed Brothers and Sisters. Remember one thing: Evangelism is merely one beggar showing another beggar where to food is. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God. That’s why Jesus’ death on the cross (and subsequent resurrection) is the ultimate blood sacrifice for the sins of ALL. 1 Timothy 2:4 “...who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
@Mozinwrath You're right, the Lord gave different people different jobs and different skills, so we all can work together doing our part for the Kingdom of our Lord. "There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work." (1 Corinthians 12: 4-6). "So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." (Ephesians 4: 11-13).

Perlas 1999 yes read your bible. A physical paper bible (if possible. If you don’t have one i’ll help you get one.) read it out loud so you can read it, hear it, and speak it. Then meditate on it. Pray in the spirit. Listen to what he says. You will see fruit in that.
The only two things we know for certain about Jesus is that he was baptized by John and crucified by Pilate during Passover for sedition. Both of these events were very embarrassing to members of the early Jesus movement, but they were well known and could not be denied.
Wait, I'm still confused. I would like to know what "Son of Man" means (as opposed to 'Son of God'). The only part of the video that addressed this question (after the long story of the bizarre dream of Daniel) said that the 'Son of Man' = 'human' (the same as "human"). Then later it says this human is = God (same as God). If 'Son of Man' = human, than anyone could be called the 'son of man' (meaning they are human). But then the video said he is greater. Still confused about the term 'Son of Man' and how it may relate to 'Son of God'.
@@Specialeffecks Jesus chose the title. son of man. He IS the son of God and they called him that mockingly. I believe since Jesus never sinned that there was no pride in him and calling yourself the son of God is very prideful in that context. What a humble and honest king to say, yeah I'm son of man(human) but you are not wrong for calling me the son of God. hope this helped
@@Specialeffecks after 38 years of confusion like this I have found the truth hidden in plain sight. Son of Man is because in Gen 3:15 we see God point out that the offspring of the woman (the enemy tricked Eve, no help from silly Adam who was looking on) will "bruise the head of the evil one" and triumph. They were the first humans, or collectively the beginning of the race of "Man." so Jesus is that prophesied future seed of the woman from Gen3:15, he was a human (note the bible project guys actually say this in this video) descended down through the generations of mankind to the promised "seed of the woman," Mary, with the baby fathered by the spirit of God. Its all as it actually says there in scripture. So "being overshadowed by the spirit of God" the child is therefore the SON OF GOD, the only "special" or "begotten" son of God, (as opposed to the many other "created" sons of God, the spiritual beings we call angels, that these videos correctly show). So Jesus is the only begotten (specially born) son of God, as well as that promised in Gen3:15, the offspring of the ancestors Adam and Eve, through the line of the woman, (Jewish family inheritance via the woman) to be in effect a SON OF MAN. Man was tricked out of the royal inheritance he was made to fulfill, imagers of God, by the enemy. One man wrecked it so it takes another man, the last Adam (see Pauls Epistles) to fix it. God provided that man, his own son, who we read in Acts2 was "..made Lord and Christ,"....(think about those words) and "glorified and set at Gods right hand and given all authority and power," (like Joseph was under Pharaoh by way of a fore shadowing picture). Forget the religious wording 'God the son' and "Incarnation,' 'God man' etc, religious words we have been bombarded with. Wool pulled over our eyes by the enemy infiltration of religion. Jesus was a man, not God pretending to be a man. God did NOT come down as a man. Its all written there like this without the explanations from religious institutions and Nicean council dogma. Read Acts2 over and over. That and Ephesians and Romans is the heart of who we are as christians because it plainly lays out who Jesus was. Dont worry about the argument "only God can save" so Jesus could not be just a man. It was what Jesus obediently did, as prophesied all over the OT, that did the saving. God provided the lamb, His special son, as the sacrifice, like Abraham did with Issac. (Another foreshadowing.) So by providing His son as the lamb of sacrifice, GOD DOES DO THE SAVING, for all who call on the name of that son, Jesus, who is now our battle chief and head. Its all there, just muddied by religious conjecture down the centuries, and handed to us in sermons as the trinity, a thing created by church leaders in the 4th century, for the expedience of Rome, under Constantine. Step back and look at the over picture. The Bible Project is right on the ball in all these overlooked issues except this trinity and incarnation issue. I think they are great and will surely, having seen so much of this new (old) hidden in plain sight stuff already, they will also see this point soon.

@@The-Beyonder Visualisation makes a great impact on the brain. I wouldn't call this video or channel brainwashing, but some other pictures have as goal to make you scared and join Christianity. Some pictures made a great impact on me while turning atheist. I was scared all the time that I would go to hell. I think these videos are ok, but I'm afraid that that channels like this will shock people so much as I was.
Jesus called it His baptism - it’s an incredible thing to be elevated in thought to the heavenly - these kinds of revelations remind us how cosmic this all really is!

Hi~ I've been watching your videos since 2018 (not consistent tho) and as a Christian artist, I love how you guys used and explored different art styles in different playlists/series. Like the other playlist was somehow drawn like Picasso's style, this one was quite a kiddie doodle, while other ones were more detailed/realistic or sketchy and some are comics. As someone who loves to learn more about God and who also loves art, I'd say you guys did a really great job! It inspires me to draw also for God's glory. May the Lord continue to use your talents and give you wisdom and bless your project, so that more and more people will get even just a glimpse (bc our human minds are limited) of how vast God's love is for them . I agree with most of this video but I have to point out two things; 1. We were not made equal to animals. We were made of the same materials (dust + breath of life) but humans were made in God's image with His own hands (Genesis 2:7) while other creatures and life on Earth appeared by His Word. We were meant to be more than the animals even before our ancestors were called to manage the rest of His creation. 2. Jesus' victory was not His death, but His resurrection! He overcame death itself. Many died martyred in the name of God before Jesus but no one has ever defeated death like Jesus. His resurrection gives us hope to a life beyond what we can see today, a hope that one day we all can also overcome death through Him. Death is a painful reminder of the price that sin demands.
c e l e s t i a l: Both very good points. I like these videos but they often gloss over the most important doctrinal points to water it down for simplicity and end up misstating doctrine by a mile. Still I enjoy they provide a framework for individual study.
I believe they did say that we were greater than animals at 1:37. He put a greater than sign, but yes they should have pointed out that we weren't created the same.
Thanks for pointing that out. I was quite confused how Jesus' death was his victory over sin, they didn't explain that part very clearly. The whole reason Jesus' death was essential, was because someone had to die in the place of humans for their sins.
As a Christian, I feel that I’ve missed this whole train of thought or at least, did not put it together in my head as you guys have laid out. I have new goals now. Thank you for this.
These are more than just cartoons these are a way to lead people that are saved and unbelieving people that still have a chance to be saved if they have not rejected Christ
This is so beautiful. Throughout history God waited to see if there was a human who could stand up without sin, but there hasn’t been. So He sent His Son (Himself) to us in the form of a human and because this human was God, He was without sin. The perfect Man. This also tells us a great message. That even though we can never ever stand up to God’s Holy Righteousness, but even as humans we can also share in His glory in the afterlife because He too lived as a human and shared Eternal Life with the Father, always has. Though He was without sin, He shows His connection to us… having lived as a Human. Satan tried to tempt Him but failed . Just as Satan tempts us. But we do get tempted. But what God is showing us is that we too can avoid and not be tempted as humans, just as Christ was tempted but never succumbed. Another example of God’s Eternal Love for us… He came to earth in Human form to show us how to live as humans . Lord forgive me for my sins today. For my transgressions and iniquities! You are the Most Exalted and Only True God! I fall at Your feet ✝️✝️✝️❤️👑❤️✝️
Jesus isn't the first human to be born without sin. In order for God to take on human form, he first needed a female to bear the son of man. So in preparation of the coming of Jesus, God had to implement the Immaculate Conception. Mary was born without sin.

Hey Bob, Isaiah 6 both encourages and warns me (the church). If Christ is the vine of life, and we have been grafted into it, then, God expects us to the bear his holy spirit fruit in the world. Personally, if I don't do this, I will be cut down to almost nothing. By grace, the people of God will reemerge by grace until one comes to maturity in the fullness of Christ; knowlegeable, pure and hastening his return.

Jesus in the Gospels said in His name to cast out Devils. In the temptation in the wilderness Jesus rebuked Satan, and again when Satan tried to rebuke Christ through Peter Jesus said "Get thee behind me Satan" and then in the temptation He said in Matthew 4 “is it not written, tempt not the Lord your God”. Furthermore, we also see Jesus forgiving sins of people (the cripple man and the woman caught in adultery), Jesus accepting worship of individuals He healed (the 3 Wise men, the blind man, the Mother of the sons of Zebedee, Roman Centurion, the Rich Ruler, lepers, and Thomas), and in John 10:18 Jesus says He has power to lay down His life and raise Himself from the dead (personal power over life and death), and in John 10:27-28 Jesus says that He personally gives eternal life, and in John 4:26 Jesus claims to be the Christ Messiah as prophesied of (Isaiah 9:6 called the Mighty God, Everlasting Father), and also in John 8 stating that He is the "I Am" multiple times (I Am in Greek is "ego eimi" meaning the Always Existing One) and the Pharisees tried to stone Him for blasphemy. An angel, prophet, or holy man couldn't do that. Using only the Bible you can prove beyond any doubt that Jesus Christ Himself is the Mighty God just as the Prophet Isaiah says - Isaiah 9:6) "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Christ Jesus is the Creator God - Ephesians 3:9) "And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:" John 1:1-3) "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." Hebrews 1:2) "Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;" Hebrews 11:3) "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Further Proof - John 20:28-29) "And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. This is great because I believe One God One Faith and One Baptism!!! I have been watching bible project an I have seen where the word relates to the holy ghost and even now this can be used for baptism and the renewing of the spirit daily to overcome evil... I am sad but I pray that many people get this revelation of One God who is name Jesus. Thank you for sharing these scriptures!!
Brother Matthew thank you thank you thank you! False prophecy here and the need to take Bible out of their project. They know this is false. This is not a mistake. This is not even easily disguised and yes they are basically preaching against the truth of God’s Word. This won’t fly with the ones who defend the scriptures we know. Y’all look sad. And it’s sad you did this after you gained people’s trust and now I pray they do not follow you but test and study the word of God. This is so false it’s almost comical that you think you can just do this and not be called out Every knee will bow and you will praise his name and give your account. This isn’t a good start guys.
I've always had this huge fear of God, heaven, judgment (even the word) and eternity. It used to give me major panic attacks and keep me up at night, but for some reason, when I watch your videos you make it feel less overwhelming, exiting and hopeful. Very good video as always; however, I think it would have been great to define the type of death you are talking about which is spiritual death (death to self/sin) and not a physical death
That's incorrect though. You will most surely die physically. You will not die spiritually, for you were never TRULY alive spiritually. The physical death described in this video will give birth to your spirit in its completeness. Just not here on this Earth.
@@JF-hv2bl I think we're saying the same thing but with different terms. They mean dying to self to become alive to Christ. That death is not physical in the sense that you will bodily die. Physical means a bodily death and departure from this world and into eternity. I do think it's a spiritual death because every human has a spirit and before repentence it is "dead" in sin and doesn't have the life of Christ in it. When we receive Jesus Christ into our lives, our spirits are redeemed and become the temple of the Holy Spirit while we're still here on earth. Spiritual death in the context I used it is the denying of the flesh and self to follow the direction of the Holy Spirit in us

If you are implying that both your father and mother are pastors, then neither of them are. Women are not called to be pastors and a man who does not know that is illegitimate.

Our Inner Christ Consciousness is THE SON OF GOD, as we are God Experiencing Life AS EACH ONE OF US! We are not Separate from the Father, this is true teaching of Yeshaya Ben Joseph(Jesus).... The presence of God Consciousness in me is the presence of God Consciousness in you.... The recognition of God in us helps us to ultimately recognize the same in all things. And the recognition of God in my enemy ultimately makes my enemy my ally.... Son Of Man was a repetitively used term by Old Testament prophets. Jesus referred to himself as THE Son Of Man. Opinions vary as to why, but possibly to give a reference to Old Testament writings that people of his time would recognize, and to prove he was in the flesh and would be met with same obstacles we are while in the flesh.
@@scottarivett496In Hebrew ben-adam means a human, every one of us is ben-adam, sons of Adam. Jesus is that son, promised to Adam in Genesis, hence the title - THE Son of Man, or THE Human, also called the last Adam in the New Testament. I believe Adam was a perfect genetic copy of Jesus, since Adam was created IN God's perfect image, and Christ IS that perfect image according to Colossians.
If you want to know more about how hell (Hades) is divided and whom Jesus preached between death and resurrection, I reccomend you to read Book of Enoch (1 Enoch) chapter 22. According to it, Sheol (the underworld) is divided in two main parts - paradise (i.e. Abraham's bosom) and Hades/Hell. Between them is the great chasm, what we know from Luke 16. Hell itself is divided into three hollow places. First is for unsaved that are going to be thrown in the Lake of Fire, second for people killed by the Flood whom Jesus preached before resurrection and third for other unrightous but who will not be thrown in lake of fire after the Judgement, nor taken from it prior to the Judgement. So the 3rd part is similar to Roman Catholic purgatory, but yet much different because souls in it will not be taken from it prior to Judgement after the millenium. Revelation 20 says Hades will give up its dead. 😉
Idea of purgatory developed from early Christian belief that Hades will be emptied prior to Judgement, under influence of Origen and Clement of Alexandria who were well known universalists and influenced by platonism.

In prayer today, my step dad Dave was healed. He said he believes he can be healed through prayer from another room. I prayed for him, his arm and lungs have been healed. Holy Spirit Showed me an image of his lungs, and after I was praying for them said they were healed. All Glory to God, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Not just the ressurection is missing, but also it mistakenly communicates Jesus as a "Godly human", instead of the God who became one of us. The best way to view the title "son of man" is from a heavenly perspective: God what can you do to save them? Jesus replies: " I, God, will become a "son of man"" I'm honoustly a bit dissappointed with the theology in this video. Usually they are excellent.

I also don't believe that one must emphasize the resurrection in every discussion having to do with Jesus---even though the resurrection is an absolute cornerstone of faith, and one of my favorite things to talk about. This is a theme video on 'son of man,' so I'm just curious what went into their decisions about what to emphasize and why the resurrection was only alluded to. Just curious!
Clinton Mc Lellan I disagree with your assessment. It is absolutely essential that Jesus is fully human in order for us to be saved. Son of Man highlights the fact that God did what man couldn't do, and their video captured this very well in my opinion.
0:39 says Daniel was asleep dreaming but Scriptures say, Daniel 7:1 “...Daniel saw a dream and visions in his head as he lay in bed...” saying nothing about him being asleep. Daniel 7:2 says, “...I saw from my vision by night...” but again doesn’t say he was asleep. This is not a big deal but we need to read Scriptures carefully and not put on them our biases no matter how small. Also check out the earlier comment that Babel came not as stated in the video from Cain but from Nimrod who was a descendant of Ham, Noah’s son. Thanks TBP!
@@surrealsupercell7217 but we can't contradict ourselves, we always will read the bible over and over again and see how we've misinterpreted something or --> how there are about AS many perspectives put into the verse than how WE originally viewed it. That's why we all clicked on this video. That's why there are multiple people (in spirit) that view the Bible. The Bible wasn't intended to just one person with one perspective. That's the whole point. We are the many pieces to the puzzle, but can't view the puzzle as a whole. One person didn't write the Bible either, they all had different writings styles and different perspectives but with the all same purpose, to fulfill God's prophecy (mind you that's how we'll live as one when we die probably), and I think that justifies us all as well.

Reel Jig Publishing I agree because in the genealogy of Genesis 10:9 and the verses above it telling the lineage of Ham (who was cursed in Genesis 9:25 because of seeing his drunk father Noah naked and then going to tell his brothers about it) is his son (in Scriptures ‘son’ can mean actual son or grandson or even great-grandson to several generations) Cush and Cush’s son was Nimrod the mighty hunter. Genesis 10:10 Nimrod made several rebellious kingdoms including Babel, Assyria, and Nineveh. Interesting the Trinity is likely in the actual confusion of the language which is what ‘babel’ means because it says, “Let us...” like in Creation the same words are in “Let us make man in our image...”. Proves again every single word is important in the inspired Word! Good job catching this ‘error’. It’s confusing because the genealogy of Cain in Genesis 4 has some of the same names as the genealogy of Seth in Genesis 5! They both have an Enoch and they both have a Lamech. Cain’s relatives did become extremely violent as indicated by the poem Lamech tells in Genesis 4:23ff. On the other hand, Seth, who was born to replace Abel (Abel called righteous in Genesis 4:25) had a great-great...grandson who walked with God (Seth’s Enoch Genesis 5:22-24). Merry Christmas to you!
Technically yes...but I think what the video is saying is within the storyline of Gen 3 though 11 you start with Adam and Eve, Cain, lamech, each generation giving into the beast and the story leads you to Babylon. Bare in mind the table of nations where Nimrod appears is in Ch 10 but Babylon is founded by all humanity in Ch 11. It's only after the tower of Babel that the people are scattered and the nations of Ch 10 are formed. Genesis itself isn't a strict historical chronology but a story that starts with Eden and ends with Babylon. To say Babylon is founded by the children of Cain is a simplification of the story. These weren't the biological children of Cain. But they like Cain embrace the beast and found a city where others do likewise

Understanding who/what the beasts represent is a heavy matter and I appreciate that you could not go in depth here. For anyone who is interested, the books Daniel and Revelation should be prayerfully read together for a better understanding of the beasts and their representative time periods. According to the prophet Daniel, the divine presence of the Son of Man on earth was a SIGN that Old Covenant Jerusalem and its temple were about to come to an eschatological end, and 40 years after the crucifixion that's exactly what happened. That's the authority to forgive sins, perform miracles, and to pass judgement, which is what happened in 70 AD when apostate Old Covenant Jerusalem was destroyed, and the New Covenant age of the Church was consummated.
I saw the resurrection very clear after they showed the cross and from a theology standpoint i see what your saying. I just believe you got caught up with the linguistic too much. The ones who get blessed by this are the ones who do not complicate it too much. You still have a good point, but this video is completely true in essence and theres nothing false in its context. Jesus was a man sent, created and whom authority was given by our heavenly father. This video made it clear why him and who he is. I think thats what matters the most. Wait, I'm still confused. I would like to know what "Son of Man" means (as opposed to 'Son of God'). The only part of the video that addressed this question (after the long story of the bizarre dream of Daniel) said that the 'Son of Man' = 'human' (the same as "human"). Then later it says this human is = God (same as God). If 'Son of Man' = human, than anyone could be called the 'son of man' (meaning they are human). But then the video said he is greater. Still confused about the term 'Son of Man' and how it may relate to 'Son of God'.

I believe since Jesus never sinned that there was no pride in him and calling yourself the son of God is very prideful in that context. What a humble and honest king to say, yeah I'm son of man(human) but you are not wrong for calling me the son of God.

Son of Man is because in Gen 3:15 we see God point out that the offspring of the woman (the enemy tricked Eve, no help from silly Adam who was looking on) will "bruise the head of the evil one" and triumph. They were the first humans, or collectively the beginning of the race of "Man." so Jesus is that prophesied future seed of the woman from Gen3:15, he was a human (note the bible project guys actually say this in this video) descended down through the generations of mankind to the promised "seed of the woman," Mary, with the baby fathered by the spirit of God. Its all as it actually says there in scripture. So "being overshadowed by the spirit of God" the child is therefore the SON OF GOD, the only "special" or "begotten" son of God, (as opposed to the many other "created" sons of God, the spiritual beings we call angels, that these videos correctly show).
So Jesus is the only begotten (specially born) son of God, as well as that promised in Gen3:15, the offspring of the ancestors Adam and Eve, through the line of the woman, (Jewish family inheritance via the woman) to be in effect a SON OF MAN. Man was tricked out of the royal inheritance he was made to fulfill, imagers of God, by the enemy. One man wrecked it so it takes another man, the last Adam (see Pauls Epistles) to fix it. God provided that man, his own son, who we read in Acts2 was "..made Lord and Christ,"....(think about those words) and "glorified and set at Gods right hand and given all authority and power," (like Joseph was under Pharaoh by way of a fore shadowing picture).
Forget the religious wording 'God the son' and "Incarnation,' 'God man' etc, religious words we have been bombarded with. Wool pulled over our eyes by the enemy infiltration of religion. Jesus was a man, not God pretending to be a man. God did NOT come down as a man. Its all written there like this without the explanations from religious institutions and Nicean council dogma. Read Acts2 over and over. That and Ephesians and Romans is the heart of who we are as christians because it plainly lays out who Jesus was. Dont worry about the argument "only God can save" so Jesus could not be just a man. It was what Jesus obediently did, as prophesied all over the OT, that did the saving. God provided the lamb, His special son, as the sacrifice, like Abraham did with Issac. (Another foreshadowing.) So by providing His son as the lamb of sacrifice, GOD DOES DO THE SAVING, for all who call on the name of that son, Jesus, who is now our battle chief and head. Its all there, just muddied by religious conjecture down the centuries, and handed to us in sermons as the trinity, a thing created by church leaders in the 4th century, for the expedience of Rome, under Constantine. Step back and look at the over picture. The Bible Project is right on the ball in all these overlooked issues except this trinity and incarnation issue. I think they are great and will surely, having seen so much of this new (old) hidden in plain sight stuff already, they will also see this point soon.

Hi~ I've been watching your videos since 2018 (not consistent tho) and as a Christian artist, I love how you guys used and explored different art styles in different playlists/series. Like the other playlist was somehow drawn like Picasso's style, this one was quite a kiddie doodle, while other ones were more detailed/realistic or sketchy and some are comics.
As someone who loves to learn more about God and who also loves art, I'd say you guys did a really great job! It inspires me to draw also for God's glory.
May the Lord continue to use your talents and give you wisdom and bless your project, so that more and more people will get even just a glimpse (bc our human minds are limited) of how vast God's love is for them .

I agree with most of this video but I have to point out two things;
1. We were not made equal to animals. We were made of the same materials (dust + breath of life) but humans were made in God's image with His own hands (Genesis 2:7) while other creatures and life on Earth appeared by His Word. We were meant to be more than the animals even before our ancestors were called to manage the rest of His creation.
2. Jesus' victory was not His death, but His resurrection! He overcame death itself. Many died martyred in the name of God before Jesus but no one has ever defeated death like Jesus. His resurrection gives us hope to a life beyond what we can see today, a hope that one day we all can also overcome death through Him. Death is a painful reminder of the price that sin demands.
c e l e s t i a l: Both very good points. I like these videos but they often gloss over the most important doctrinal points to water it down for simplicity and end up misstating doctrine by a mile. Still I enjoy they provide a framework for individual study.
I believe they did say that we were greater than animals at 1:37. He put a greater than sign, but yes they should have pointed out that we weren't created the same.
Thanks for pointing that out. I was quite confused how Jesus' death was his victory over sin, they didn't explain that part very clearly. The whole reason Jesus' death was essential, was because someone had to die in the place of humans for their sins.

These are more than just cartoons these are a way to lead people that are saved and unbelieving people that still have a chance to be saved if they have not rejected Christ
This is so beautiful.
Throughout history God waited to see if there was a human who could stand up without sin, but there hasn’t been.
So He sent His Son (Himself) to us in the form of a human and because this human was God, He was without sin. The perfect Man.
This also tells us a great message.
That even though we can never ever stand up to God’s Holy Righteousness, but even as humans we can also share in His glory in the afterlife because He too lived as a human and shared Eternal Life with the Father, always has.
Though He was without sin, He shows His connection to us… having lived as a Human.
Satan tried to tempt Him but failed . Just as Satan tempts us. But we do get tempted.
But what God is showing us is that we too can avoid and not be tempted as humans, just as Christ was tempted but never succumbed.
Another example of God’s Eternal Love for us… He came to earth in Human form to show us how to live as humans .

When you say God sent his Son (himself), are you saying the Father sent himself?
Jesus isn't the first human to be born without sin. In order for God to take on human form, he first needed a female to bear the son of man. So in preparation of the coming of Jesus, God had to implement the Immaculate Conception. Mary was born without sin.
But Jesus was born with original sin as every one on earth and asked his cousin John to baptize him. So, in fact he was not without sin. Just saying.

Hey Bob, Isaiah 6 both encourages and warns me (the church). If Christ is the vine of life, and we have been grafted into it, then, God expects us to the bear his holy spirit fruit in the world. Personally, if I don't do this, I will be cut down to almost nothing. By grace, the people of God will reemerge by grace until one comes to maturity in the fullness of Christ; knowlegeable, pure and hastening his return.

Jesus in the Gospels said in His name to cast out Devils. In the temptation in the wilderness Jesus rebuked Satan, and again when Satan tried to rebuke Christ through Peter Jesus said "Get thee behind me Satan" and then in the temptation He said in Matthew 4 “is it not written, tempt not the Lord your God”.
Furthermore, we also see Jesus forgiving sins of people (the cripple man and the woman caught in adultery), Jesus accepting worship of individuals He healed (the 3 Wise men, the blind man, the Mother of the sons of Zebedee, Roman Centurion, the Rich Ruler, lepers, and Thomas), and in John 10:18 Jesus says He has power to lay down His life and raise Himself from the dead (personal power over life and death), and in John 10:27-28 Jesus says that He personally gives eternal life, and in John 4:26 Jesus claims to be the Christ Messiah as prophesied of (Isaiah 9:6 called the Mighty God, Everlasting Father), and also in John 8 stating that He is the "I Am" multiple times (I Am in Greek is "ego eimi" meaning the Always Existing One) and the Pharisees tried to stone Him for blasphemy. An angel, prophet, or holy man couldn't do that.
Using only the Bible you can prove beyond any doubt that Jesus Christ Himself is the Mighty God just as the Prophet Isaiah says - Isaiah 9:6) "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
Christ Jesus is the Creator God -
Ephesians 3:9) "And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:"

This is great because I believe One God One Faith and One Baptism!!! I have been watching bible project an I have seen where the word relates to the holy ghost and even now this can be used for baptism and the renewing of the spirit daily to overcome evil... I am sad but I pray that many people get this revelation of One God who is name Jesus.

That's incorrect though. You will most surely die physically. You will not die spiritually, for you were never TRULY alive spiritually. The physical death described in this video will give birth to your spirit in its completeness. Just not here on this Earth.
@@JF-hv2bl I think we're saying the same thing but with different terms. They mean dying to self to become alive to Christ. That death is not physical in the sense that you will bodily die. Physical means a bodily death and departure from this world and into eternity. I do think it's a spiritual death because every human has a spirit and before repentence it is "dead" in sin and doesn't have the life of Christ in it. When we receive Jesus Christ into our lives, our spirits are redeemed and become the temple of the Holy Spirit while we're still here on earth. Spiritual death in the context I used it is the denying of the flesh and self to follow the direction of the Holy Spirit in us

Son Of Man was a repetitively used term by Old Testament prophets. Jesus referred to himself as THE Son Of Man. Opinions vary as to why, but possibly to give a reference to Old Testament writings that people of his time would recognize, and to prove he was in the flesh and would be met with same obstacles we are while in the flesh.

Jesus is that son, promised to Adam in Genesis, hence the title - THE Son of Man, or THE Human, also called the last Adam in the New Testament. I believe Adam was a perfect genetic copy of Jesus, since Adam was created IN God's perfect image, and Christ IS that perfect image according to Colossians.

If you want to know more about how hell (Hades) is divided and whom Jesus preached between death and resurrection, I reccomend you to read Book of Enoch (1 Enoch) chapter 22. According to it, Sheol (the underworld) is divided in two main parts - paradise (i.e. Abraham's bosom) and Hades/Hell. Between them is the great chasm, what we know from Luke 16. Hell itself is divided into three hollow places. First is for unsaved that are going to be thrown in the Lake of Fire, second for people killed by the Flood whom Jesus preached before resurrection and third for other unrightous but who will not be thrown in lake of fire after the Judgement, nor taken from it prior to the Judgement. So the 3rd part is similar to Roman Catholic purgatory, but yet much different because souls in it will not be taken from it prior to Judgement after the millenium. Revelation 20 says Hades will give up its dead. 😉
Idea of purgatory developed from early Christian belief that Hades will be emptied prior to Judgement, under influence of Origen and Clement of Alexandria who were well known universalists and influenced by platonism.

Not just the ressurection is missing, but also it mistakenly communicates Jesus as a "Godly human", instead of the God who became one of us. I'm honoustly a bit dissappointed with the theology in this video. Usually they are excellent.
Arnold Roman I am a pastor so I know that you can't fit every dimension of even essential orthodox theology into every 25-minute sermon, so you certainly can't fit everything into a 4-min video on a particular theme. I also don't believe that one must emphasize the resurrection in every discussion having to do with Jesus---even though the resurrection is an absolute cornerstone of faith, and one of my favorite things to talk about. This is a theme video on 'son of man,' so I'm just curious what went into their decisions about what to emphasize and why the resurrection was only alluded to. Just curious!
Clinton Mc Lellan I disagree with your assessment. It is absolutely essential that Jesus is fully human in order for us to be saved. Son of Man highlights the fact that God did what man couldn't do, and their video captured this very well in my opinion.

0:39 says Daniel was asleep dreaming but Scriptures say, Daniel 7:1 “...Daniel saw a dream and visions in his head as he lay in bed...” saying nothing about him being asleep. Daniel 7:2 says, “...I saw from my vision by night...” but again doesn’t say he was asleep.
This is not a big deal but we need to read Scriptures carefully and not put on them our biases no matter how small.
Also check out the earlier comment that Babel came not as stated in the video from Cain but from Nimrod who was a descendant of Ham, Noah’s son.

@@surrealsupercell7217 but we can't contradict ourselves, we always will read the bible over and over again and see how we've misinterpreted something or --> how there are about AS many perspectives put into the verse than how WE originally viewed it. That's why we all clicked on this video. That's why there are multiple people (in spirit) that view the Bible. The Bible wasn't intended to just one person with one perspective. That's the whole point. We are the many pieces to the puzzle, but can't view the puzzle as a whole. One person didn't write the Bible either, they all had different writings styles and different perspectives but with the all same purpose, to fulfill God's prophecy (mind you that's how we'll live as one when we die probably), and I think that justifies us all as well.

Begs to question is these celebrations are a product of selfish desire like the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes, or is it really the desire of the true God Jehovah and his Son Jesus
God has been answering all my Bible questions. Amazing. Yesterday I was watching a movie about Jesus story and he referred to himself many times as the Son of Man and it got me really confused so I asked God what was that about and today this video was suggested by UA-cam. It has been happening lately. Just wonderful. JESUS IS KING.

Interesting the Trinity is likely in the actual confusion of the language which is what ‘babel’ means because it says, “Let us...” like in Creation the same words are in “Let us make man in our image...”.

It’s confusing because the genealogy of Cain in Genesis 4 has some of the same names as the genealogy of Seth in Genesis 5! They both have an Enoch and they both have a Lamech. Cain’s relatives did become extremely violent as indicated by the poem Lamech tells in Genesis 4:23ff. On the other hand, Seth, who was born to replace Abel (Abel called righteous in Genesis 4:25) had a great-great...grandson who walked with God (Seth’s Enoch Genesis 5:22-24).

Technically yes...but I think what the video is saying is within the storyline of Gen 3 though 11 you start with Adam and Eve, Cain, lamech, each generation giving into the beast and the story leads you to Babylon. Bare in mind the table of nations where Nimrod appears is in Ch 10 but Babylon is founded by all humanity in Ch 11. It's only after the tower of Babel that the people are scattered and the nations of Ch 10 are formed. Genesis itself isn't a strict historical chronology but a story that starts with Eden and ends with Babylon. To say Babylon is founded by the children of Cain is a simplification of the story. These weren't the biological children of Cain. But they like Cain embrace the beast and found a city where others do likewise

Hello There :) The explanation of the beasts distracted me from the video's focus, Son of Man. Understanding who/what the beasts represent is a heavy matter and I appreciate that you could not go in depth here.
For anyone who is interested, the books Daniel and Revelation should be prayerfully read together for a better understanding of the beasts and their representative time periods. (See Daniel 7 and Revelation 13 and 17)

The title Son of Man was an eschatological title. According to the prophet Daniel, the divine presence of the Son of Man on earth was a SIGN that Old Covenant Jerusalem and its temple were about to come to an eschatological end, and 40 years after the crucifixion that's exactly what happened. The Son of Man also has equal authority with God. That's the authority to forgive sins, perform miracles, and to pass judgement, which is what happened in 70 AD when apostate Old Covenant Jerusalem was destroyed, and the New Covenant age of the Church was consummated.

I saw the resurrection very clear after they showed the cross and from a theology standpoint i see what your saying. I just believe you got caught up with the linguistic too much. The ones who get blessed by this are the ones who do not complicate it too much. You still have a good point, but this video is completely true in essence and theres nothing false in its context. Jesus was a man sent, created and whom authority was given by our heavenly father. This video made it clear why him and who he is. I think thats what matters the most. Not any other information that is totally irrelevant. Changes nothing, is still Jesus The Son of Man 😉
