      Guys thank you, to be honest im a victim of bullying injustice by most women at a very young age, i was picked on by girls, accused being disgusting and ugly even when i was born with mild autism and epilepsy.
      At first i thought its justice to do the same and think in atempt to punish women who abuse their rights toward men and distrust all of them who are out of my family bloodline, but i realized that i was committing mental suicide by killing my good self and becoming someone i swore to destroy like how anakin became darth vader.

Also, if you think the main purpose of the movement happening around us all right now is to "punish whites" and "reward blacks", you should 1) study history more, 2) recognize that that emotion comes from a (probably unconscious) superiority you need to feel over people of color and 3) rewatch this video because it addresses that.

    When I vacationed in cuba, I hurt my hand pretty bad and I was in a bad mood. This begger came up to me, an older woman. She seemed homeless and put her hands out for money. I shoo'd her away or just sighed or something. I can't remember, I was in pain and didn't want to deal with her. She wasn't the usual con artist trying to draw a picture of you while you walk and try to force you to give you money. She was just begging. I thought about what I had just done and prayed to god, "Lord if you want me to help that woman, put her in my path once more." Sure enough after a couple blocks down I see her sitting against a wall looking sad. It tore my heart apart as it seemed she gave up after me. I gave her all the cash I had in my pocket and watched her face shine like I had never seen before. I had to give thanks to god for convicting me of my actions and the gift he gave me once I did the right thing.

In psalms 94:3 "Lord, how long will the wicked triumph?". I don't know either but what's amazing is a believer's faith in God that enables people in unfortunate circumstances to be happy.

If u look at especially the New Testament, all the apostles suffered and even being murdered brutally, that doesn’t mean that God doesn’t like them, it’s just a reflection that because God’s Kingdom is the opposite of human’s one’s so that’s why we all suffer because we are in this world but not of.

    • @Straight2theHeartMinistry
      @Straight2theHeartMinistry 5 років тому +11

      @@hayyanmintgreen8561 Yes, God is perfection.... And why is it important to you to make a theological statement first, instead of asking more questions? Do theological statements reach the persons' heart or miss the the person's heart and struggle in his/her heart...Why does God allow Elijah to talk about wanting to die, feeding him food and water before God makes statements of truth to Elijah and moves him back into ministry? Why doesn't God start with statements of truth and just give him a reality check? Why does God allow Job to argue with Him (Job 3-37) and have it recorded in scripture, along with Job's repentance in chapter 42, repentance that comes after all these chapters where Job is sharing his heart? Why does God record these chapters in HIS Word, along with many of the Psalmists sharing their disappointment, doubt and frustration with God? Why does God record Jeremiah saying: "God, You deceived m?." Maybe we should ask more questions and invite the person to do like many in the Bible did...take their questions, frustrations, doubts and even accusations against God to God. Making statements, can often shut off communication, even when the statements are true and God seems to have many conversations in the Bible with some of His best friends that allow them to share their hearts. It's so, so, so easy to make statements...It is much harder to listen and ask questions. Jesus walked with His disciples on the road to Emmaus, knowing His own story, yet He asks His disciples why they are so sad. It was not because He did not know the story. It was because He was inviting them to share their story and their hearts with Him. God asked Adam and Eve questions. God asked Haagar where she had come from and where she was going....Jesus often asked questions. So I wonder if we are wanting to build bridges of relationships, relationships that are often messy and long term, just like Jesus walked with His disciples for 3.5 years plus another 40 days after His resurrection (on and off for 40 days) and told them they still were not ready to be His witnesses, so they prayed together another 10 days. With prayers that we will ask more questions that will lead to the person wanting to know more, that will allow theological statements to reach the person's mind and heart (ie. the New Covenant). I find that many Christians are quick to make statements and focus on being right or what is right, missing the importance of being in a right relationship with God and with the person...that includes entering into the messiness and brokenness of the person's story - like Jesus did. This kind of grace is costly grace because it means we have to take time to get to know the person, enter into the person's story and struggles and doubts, and this takes time to earn their trust. It is also reflecting what Jesus did, so He could "heal the broken hearted and set the captives free," (Luke 4:18). With prayers that we will receive God's grace and truth in a way that we enter into other's stories with curiosity and compassion that eventually allows us to share truth in a way that it reaches the head and the heart (Heb. 8:10; 10:16)

      The Man The Legend I’d like to ask you a simple question. Isn’t your interest in the Christian faith God’s way of winning you over? I️ mean yeah all Christians are hypocrites because all of us are human. That is why we praise Jesus so much, because he died for our hypocrisy.

    • @brendansmith5529
      @brendansmith5529 7 років тому +119

      Hi! Sorry, by my "hypocrites" comment on the first post, I didn't mean to imply that all Christians are like that, just that a few were in my early life. Or, as you said, we're all hypocrites, but Christians are no more so than anyone else.
      As to God attempting to win me over, I'll recognize it as a possibility. I think it's possible that some God-like being exists, and I certainly think that there's value to be found in religion. But my interest in the Bible is a part of my wider interest in philosophy, literature, and religion. These fields of knowledge used to be considered the most important of all, but in the past few hundred years have been more or less supplanted by science. And while I think that science is an incredibly powerful asset for improving our material well-being, it does little to help our 'spirit', for lack of a better word. I'm interested in the health of the human spirit, and one of the most influential books of all time when it comes to spirituality is the Bible. That said, the Bible isn't the only major Holy Text. So far, at least, I'm trying to read as broadly and open-mindedly as I can. I don't see myself choosing one religion. So far, at least, I think that the wisest idea is to study all realms of human knowledge, and piece the truth together using the best ideas from all of them.
      Perhaps, ultimately, this path leads to God. I don't know. But whatever that God truly is, I believe it will be far different from anything humans have ever conceived of.

I had never thought I was capable of such an acquisition, but sometimes its hard for us to see why things happen. When Y’all said that part of righteousness was to make someone else’s problem your own that was a kind of woah moment for me because that is something you NEVER hear; what we hear: “That’s your problem not mine”
    “Deal with it”
    and dozens of other phrases like it is very surprising that own bible doesn’t says to toughen up deal with your own problems and don’t let anyone make you vulnerable or let people help themselves it’s their problem(s) not yours, but instead to have MANY counselors to help you throughout your life and to love our neighbors as yourselves and to put fiber of your being to giving to those in need
    I remember when I read Acts 2:43-47 the believers form a community and reading that they gave so much to each other that no one needed anything because they gave everything was truly something that baffled me when I first read it and amazed me at the same time of the kinds of changes God will put into the hearts of his people

      @NICK COIN I think you’re taking Leviticus 21:9 slightly out fo context. In the time it what’s written the Israelites were travelling through the wilderness and and God saw it fit to just kill one prostitute than have all of the nation of Israel corrupted because of this sin. Other girls might have thought that if the priest daughter can do it, it must be ok. It might have lured men away from God and there wife’s which would break up families. So basically what I am trying to say is that God saw that if they hadn’t killed them it would have been the downfall and His people of which Jesus was to be born into. God can see what is going to happen so when he says things like this it’s because it’s best for us.

    The core message of the video is spot on. We should show love and compassion toward those who need it the most. Christ gave the ultimate example of how we should lead this life.
    There is but one serious pitfall with this video which the video doesn't explicitly dwell on but which can be interpreted from the video. It can be interpreted as justice meaning that everyone is financially well off. The Bible is very clear that financial prosperity does not equate to a world that is just. Financial prosperity simply isn't a goal the Bible mentions at all.
    Just because I cannot afford a lifestyle of a rich man it does not mean the world is not just. The standard is not financial prosperity.
    "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
    Matthew 19:24 NIV
    We should avoid becoming bitter because we are not as financially well off as our neighbor.
    A massive part of Justice that is so central to the Gospel is justice in the context of God being just and not showing partiality if we have fallen short of the moral standard Christ set for us. Giving away my financial wealth does NOT make me righteous.
    Christ is the one who saves us. Not our financial standing or how much of our wealth we give away.

      @@skybattler2624 Yes this is all covered in the video which is why I start by saying that the core message is spot on- I never said the video is just about financial gain. Its also why I was very careful by saying that financial gain wasn't explicitly dwelled on but can be interpreted from the video by some people. The video isn't about just financial gain but it is a pitfall that we should be wary of. I appreciate the heart behind the video- I was just commenting on how money can be a trap for the unwary.

    I really enjoyed this video. I find, when listening to others discuss the concept of Biblical justice/injustice, that often it’s just white men lecturing the rest of us about how we should respond to injustice. More often, the focus is on how the oppressed should not sin in our anger, but rarely does anyone preach about why so many of us are so angry. This is, I kid you not, the first time I’ve ever heard white men acknowledge what the Bible says about advocating for the oppressed. Y’all really get it.

Of course they’ve never oppressed me, again, never said they did. Didn’t mention anything about Black people so I’m not sure why you saw fit to say Black people “do” oppress, as if I said Black people do or don’t. I agree and I think it nullifies the call to action this video suggests. Instead of trying to fix broken systems we should be looking inward to the condition of our own hearts. It is a sad but simple truth that we cannot impose our beliefs on other people. No matter how much you outlaw it - it people hold racists beliefs you cannot litigate it out of them. So why try so hard to fix things that are not within the scope of your control? Let’s take the focus inward and pray for those in need.

      Whenever the oppressed became the oppressor it was when the oppressed violently overtook the oppressor like with Israel in the Old Testament; unless they were storming the capital I don’t see it applying to America if that was what you were referring to

    I love these videos they give me such a more in-depth version of the bible and makes it more understanding to me. I've only recently let Jesus into my life and these videos have definitely helped ALOT.

    The animation in this is so simplistic yet the emotion and intent conveyed is just perfection! ❤️❤️❤️

    Very nice...the images of the white floating ribbon is exactly what I feel operating in my life. Compelling me to say something publicly, go somewhere I would rather stay away from, or making time for a friend when I’d rather be doing something else...it’s that image of the white ribbon that I will remember now. Thanks for that!!!

    The core message (or that which I take from the video) is so beautiful. We do not help or defend or build up because the people we help, defend or build up deserve it. We do it because the gift that was given to us, by/through Christ, compels us and leaves us no other choice. The video also mentions its a lifetime commitment. Bolstering my opinion that sometimes people (including me) to easily think that the problems and injustices most people face can be solved by throwing some money at it where the biggest gift me can give people is our time, empathy and the message of Jesus. This video again also just confirms how radical Jesus was. That He sometimes went out of His way to spend time with sinners. May we all be inspired to do the same. Praise Jesus!

    I don't know if I've said it enough, but never bored watching and rewatching your videos. Beside of the message you delivered, the illustration is just over the top. My Ears and eyes always working together in perfect harmony every time I watched your video. Always surprised when each video coming because it always different and even though have same style, it never bored me. I can't do much right now, but I hope this project will continue as long as it could be! Thanks and God Bless!

    This video is beautiful, and very true to life. I’m heartbroken by the injustice Black people face in the United States and around the world. Grateful that we have Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God to redeem us, guide us, and forgive us as we actively move towards change.
    I’m also getting Journey (the video game) vibes from this
