I like it all but no one killed Jesus he layed his life down
I stayed away from Christianity for so long because of other so-called Christians. They were hypocrites in my eyes -- preaching one thing, but their lives showed differently...getting drunk at parties, beating each other up on a Saturday night and then showing up with a hangover while putting on their Sunday best at church. Those were my examples growing up.
Once a "real" Christian came into my life (one who truly practiced the teachings of Jesus by showing me the Fruits of the Spirit through her life -- patience, kindness, not boasting, not easily angered, loving your neighbor as yourself, etc.) -- I decided to maybe give the "good book" a chance.
I started reading the Bible to prove to her that Christianity was not real. I gave her 40 pages of my Native Spirituality beliefs and teaching to show her why I my religion was superior. She read every bit of it and was patient with me as I shared my beliefs at the time.
I mean, my religion didn't send Crusaders around the world to kill people if they didn't believe in The Great Spirit. I used to see Christianity as "the white man's religion" (I am Native American) and had heard stories of the praying Indians, all women and children, who were put into longhouses and burned alive for their devotion instead of rewarded. That is what becoming Christians got them -- just because they were Native peoples. What I didn't realize was that it was the PEOPLE in those times who were evil and wrong who professed the idea of "manifest destiny," -- NOT Jesus or God or Christianity itself. When I met my Christian friend who truly showed me how to walk with Jesus and not just proclaim to know Him, I realized that many times PEOPLE are flawed, but Jesus is not. I am now a practicing Christian who LIVES MY LIFE for Jesus and helping others come to know Him. It doesn't matter the color of your skin, where you come from, how you were raised or how much money you make -- God loves you! He created you for great things! It is only Satan who gets in the way of helping others see who Jesus really is and how much He loves you! Sometimes those who claim to know Jesus, don't do a good job of getting out of the way enough to let Him shine for others to see!

I now help others read the Bible and come to know the Lord and His plans for them and your videos really break things down simplistically so even those who don't know who Jesus is, can start to understand and want to search even more and deeper through the Bible. The term in no way means that mere humans are potentially gods, but only that they can become God's representatives with power and authority to bring judgment and carry out justice (Romans 13:4).

I know this video is 4 years old, but I have had a stutter which has caused me a lot of anxiety. It’s gotten a lot better, but my anxiety would still be there. I feel so much better after watching this video. It makes me feel so grateful and at peace.

I'm a Muslim and I really like and agree with most what in here. but there are things and rules some humans put in the Bible. who put it and it helps what agenda? this is a question for you as a human.
I believe in most what in the Bible. it's almost the same in Quran. you can sense what's from God and what Jews put in the Bible. they destroy the word of God again. the Christianity lost. it's funny how in Quran Christians always called and named " the lost" never named them with a bad word.
God sant another Prophet. Muhammad peace be upon him. this time God put all the rules for us humans in one book. and he made sure no one can change it.
From day one Quran been written and saved by Prophet Muhammad. He was illiterate so he was saying the exact verses God said, to the good ppl he chose to write it as it is. and after they finish everytime he take what been written and give it to another good ppl to read it to him. just to make sure. over 1437 years now and the Quran is the exact same in every part of the world. The forces of evil tried to change it like what happened with books before. but it never happened. it can't happen. how about interpretation it wrong?! it's happening every day. They misinterpret the Jehad wrong for example! to make Islam looks barbaric and spread by the sword which is so wrong and misleading.
To make it as simple as I can to explain the Jehad in Islam, it's like if your neighbour have a building, he control it. and he lies and brainwash and mislead all the people who live inside. but you know the truth. in the past they don't let you go inside to explain to the people the truth. they fight you. in my example a few grads on the door of the building. what you going to do in this case? you might say why bother I might get hurt or die fighting those grads. but don't be surprised there are great people who will sacrifice their life to help another human. this is Jehad. it's never been about you becoming Muslim! Prophet Mohammed uncle was not believer! no one kill him. as long you understand and you choose it's ok . his neighbour was a jew. no one kill him. thousands and thousands of Christians lived under the Islamic rulers and they never touched! so Jehad is only to make the message spread. and who is this guy in my example anyway to have the right to decide for those who lives in the building?! give them the message and let them decide for themselves!
After saying thit. is there any true Jehad for spreading Islam today?! the answer is no! because the world is open now. you can read about Islam or anything but you chose not to. so there is no need to fight to hand you the words of God.
Think of it as if we live in a universe that have 10 rules. and I'm wondering why Christians stopped in the rule number 5 for example! there's still 5 more?! when Jesus peace be upon him come back again to this life to save the good. we'll all understand.

@@King-jy6je 99% of the time the word "God" is used in the New Testament, it is referring to God the Father. So, when it says Jesus is the "Son of God", it 1) doesn't mean He isn't God and 2) does not mean that He is biologically the Father's Son. Jesus is the Son in position or rank, which is why He says "the Father is greater than I". He didn't mean in power or ability, He meant in RANK. We know this because He claimed titles only God has like the "I Am" title (John 8:58 scripture) and did things only God could do like forgive sins (Mark 2:5 scripture). To sum up the Holy Trinity, it is basically this: God is one being who at the same time is 3 co-equal and co-eternal distinct PERSONS (they are all one being; God, but 3 different PERSONS). So, the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. They are all ONE God, but they are at the same time 3 distinct persons.

Another way of putting it, is to say the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all of the SAME divine essence, who are all co-eternal. The Word and the Spirit both emanate from the Father, and because they are all of one divine essence, they are one God.
Jesus is definitely not the Creator. The NT consistently calls him a man (as in, a human). He is the heir of God's throne, and he reigns with the authority of God, but that has been given to him by God.
I just found your channel this morning and it's exactly what I was looking for! It's beautifully done in regards to simplifying the text in a way that isn't overwhelming and confusing, and also brings a youthful and progressive feel to it; something so important when it's becoming more challenging than ever to catch the interest of the younger generation.
With that said, I'm so proud of both of you and your crew for taking on this project so that someone like me has such an amazing reference to present to my kids. I'm currently trying to teach my 9, 15, and 19 year old kids the beauty of the gospel and relay God's intentions for mankind, which has proved a real challenge during a time when so many of their peers condemn Christianity. You've given us a true gift, and I can't thank you enough!!

I love your videos, including this one. However at the end it seemed that something important might be left out or could have been emphasized more: The word for 'image', tselem, also implies an empty semblance or container. Like a glove, made in the image of a hand, is meant to contain the hand. In the same way we, being in the image of God, are made to contain Him (Christ). Jesus isn't our guide who shows us how to rule. He himself, living in us, IS the ruler. Not us. That's why Paul said it's all about Christ in you, the only hope.

I was a practicing Pagan /Witch for years. From around 4th grade I had an affinity for it.
God held on. He kept me going even when I turned my back on Him. Today. 10 years after begging God to save me and cleanse my soul.... I now feel farther from this world than ever before. He opened my eyes. I can't believe the evil we allow to happen to our neighbors because its just "how it is". Especially when Yeshua tells us to help everyone, be what the next person needs always when able. It's terrifying to realize I'll have to face His glory as I am.
