Re the wind data, Opus Weather exports it automatically and if you have EFB. that automatically exports the weather to Opus.

Matt , when you exported the flight plan you chossed the NGX option , and not the PMDG (general) option , that's why the flp wasnt in the 777 folder
Is there any difference between using Active Sky 2012 and Active Sky Next for the winds?
Looks like you can add asn weather by using pfpx if you have asn synced to pfpx. Pfpx can export a .wx file in the pmdg weather folder.

Informative.
I would like to point out a small thing, better avoid Syria, Israel , Iraq etc. I know its just sim, but it will be more realistic if you do so.
Also , fyi middle east countries has preferential routing. For more realism you can change the route according to their preferred route.

Will this still work if I didn't use active sky and that Universal Takeoff performance tool?
Hey Matt, When I try to compute flight, I get this error "Encountered an Improper Argument". When I checked my route in the database and try to validate it, it says "UL605 cannot be expanded". Any idea how to fix this??
Do your suggestions for transfering wind data from AS1012 to the 777 FMC also work for the B737-NGX?

Just bought the 777 pmdg ,but cannot seem to get the Apu to start and for the aux and primary power to light up also in the FMC THE CG% value I cannot seem to type in the numbers or the automatic way so the vr 1 , 2 and 3 speeds don't calculate . Would appreciate if you could assist . Thanks you
Hi, can you help me with one thing about this plane? Every time when I'm landing comes about 800ft terrain warning and pull up warning. I think my altimeter is set ok but every landing I got this warnings...

Nice video. Question though. Why didn't you edit the weights to the PMDG numbers? Empty 156.137, mzfw 209.106, mtow 347.452, mrw 347.452, mldw 223.167, pax 234, cargo 32.237, fuel 145.524! Maybe a littke off as well but I got these from the FmC and the .cfg

i would say that I'm kinda new to pmdg i have been using pmdg 737 ngx for about 5 months now and want to upgrade. I am more of a graphics guy rather than a performance guy although i DO mind if the performance is terrible! i want to know what you would say is the best pmdg aircraft. I am thinking the 777 just want some reassurance that's all.

I´v done all the flight rout on PFPX, then i export it to my airplane, but when i´m on the plane i dont know how to set the route created on PFPX automatically to the mcdu.

hi Matt, did the same computations and settings for the PMDG777 along with the PFPX and arrived with a reserve of 1.3 instead of 6 this is without using in the FMC the alternate.
did this happened also with you? PS: insufficient fuel began to display half way of the flight

hey matt pfpx wont let me export the EGLLOMDG folder to the PMDG simulations folder but it will let me export the folder to the fsx folder ,when I double click to export to PMDG simulations folder it says it contains an incorrect path Help please.....

i used a free weather engine called FSXWX (google it) but im not sure if it does all the active sky does. i just use it to give me more accurate clouds and what not but idk if it give all the details in regards to wind and temperature...

Matt, how do you export release flight as pdf file ?
Once you have released the flight plan, there should be a button at the top that says "Print Flight Plan (OFP)". I don't use PFPX, though I watched the video. I hope that helps! :) 9:22

you should'd use upper airspace only man. I used that and it got me off course by like 2h if i use the quick find

Airbus Forever its hard to predict routes. In real world, they have thier dispatcher to calculate the routes for them, according to the wind, fuel,weather.
Best is to use real routes, and let pfpx calculate the rest according to the real routes.

Why would they use a bigger plane (A380) to London than a smaller plane (777) to Manchester, which is farther away?
XpertPilotFSX Its because there are probably more passengers that go to London than to Manchester
777 has the longest range, but that doesnt Mather in this case
it is 09L 30R for takeoff
no it isn't...when your flying into Heathrow from the west over Windsor you land on 09L or 09R however due to an agreement with the local council(I think it's harmondsworth) only 09R is used for take off....this creates absolute havoc as Terminal 5A is right next to the holding points...

no but if you want to use real world weather it well worth paying for active sky actually the current version is called active sky NEXT and it possibly the best add on ive ever bought for fsx not only does it give you accurate up to date weather it also enhances the graphical experience like clouds making them look more realistic

I dont know, but he could be using Fraps.
İ would spend hours on your videos for learning but youre always using payware addons. Not care about the cloud or others İ mean flight plan. Even if you use payware flight planner you could share this file with us so we can fallow ur video. İ dont wanna buy too much addons İm not even sure if İ will keep this or not. Cracking is not good for developers so İ always have to close ur videos sadly. İm sure we can learn best from you.
Yusuf Ercan there are freeware flight planners. Look up Simbrief and Little Nav Map.

Its paywere its between 50 to 55 pound if u r from America it 85 dollers I think. you can get it from pmdg or areosoft

+Alexou331 Productions another alternate software is REX Essential+ OD. But their winds aloft info is displayed differently.
