You already know MSFS 2024 is going to launch 80% complete and full of bugs lol. I plan on waiting 1-2 years after "launch" until its actually complete and mostly bug free.
Yeah, I'm probably gonna do the same, maybe trial it for a little bit if it launches on Gamepass, then decide if I want to upgrade to a different edition
As someone who avoided msfs2020 for the first 2 years, I tend to agree with you. I do think that 2024 will more or less be a re-vamped version of 2020 (all addons will be compatible, after all), so I’m cautiously optimistic that the buggy phase of initial release will be much shorter.

I can't find it, but there was a post a while ago from PMDG that they are 100% going to do a 777X for MSFS. I just hope we don't have to buy all version of a plane to get the 1 we want like FSX / P3D. I only want the 777 - 300ER and when it's out the 777-9. I'll need a new PC first though.
@@TOMCATFAN agreed I just think cs has gone a little too far with just spamming out a bunch of models with no real time put into the aircraft’s and no sound packages will be excited to see the -9 if it comes out but I feel like people should have already had one out I mean the planes flown all ready there’s cockpit videos and sounds they should have everything they need at this point to make one what is everyone waiting for the real thing to come out??? No thanks
@@FlightsimGODD True, the -9 has flown, but if you look at the cockpit, it's still very much a test set up. There is a large test rig on top of the glare pannel and a lot of test specific switches which won't be on the production version. Also, based on testing, there is a chance some switches and displays could be changed on production versions and you will also get airline specific layouts too.
@@TOMCATFAN I’m not going to lie bro I think the testy looking cockpit is really cool and would be a cool idea for a plane they could release a beta version of the plane as it is in real life currently u know what I mean? Just an idea idk I just want something different and I’m tired of waiting on the other planes lol
very disappointed with PMDG to be fair. yes their aircrafts are stunning nothing to say there however the attitude is bad. we haven't heard for MONTHS now about the tablet for Xbox.... month ad month !!!!!!!! of course now the 737 has been sold on xbox they don't focus that much anymore of those kind of issues for xbox users, easier to focus on the 777 which gonna bring them lot of money compare spending some time to fix the EFB for xbox users which gonna bring them.....Nothing. that still show the mentally behind and its very very disappointing to have suck a lack of care... and the cherry on the cake, when you drop a message on their forum, a nice message but speaking honestly on the lake of updates and care to have the EFB on xbox, you are BANNED! yes yes BANNED so all they want is people is polish their ego and when you make some constructive remarks all you got is a ban.... impressive PMDG if that's how you treat and respect your customers, I don't care how good your airliners are.... its gonna be a BIG PASS!
I agree with you, let me first say that Pmdg makes high-quality products. Still, it surprises me how they communicate with their customers. Not telling us what to expect and when is not the relationship I would maintain with my customers/fans. Because there are few alternatives for Xbox users, protesting with your wallet is not an option. What I have a harder time with is the discrepancy between the PC product and that of the Xbox. As an Xbox user you pay the same price, but receive a less complete product. Liveries are not free and no EFB. They do advertise these things in their own store. Subsequently, nowhere does the marketplace show that the Xbox version lacks these certain aspects. I have legal doubts about such commercial practices. i also don't understand why people are defending this, at the end of the day pmdg is an LLC and not a foundation.

Apparently, all the same add-ons that work for 2020 will work for 2024. In theory at least. I'm sure Asobo will pull something scummy.
