I was a Patreon years ago and used to enjoy watching you and Luna walking in the park and on the beach. I think I sent you a screen shot of a beach scene back then. Thank you for being here. I feel less alone (I just lost a couple family members myself).

Im usually a silent lurker, but I just got to say that Im in the same boat. I love this hobby but with working from home, and then doing a sedentary hobby its almost like a silent killer..... The key is finding balance, and to care about oneself enough to take the leap to make changes. I need to also go on the same journey and move more, bc we only have one body and one life. Thank you, i needed the motivation!

I can’t figure out this static issue. I live in the USA desert southwest and I thought he dry arid climate was the problem, but you seem to have the same issue but opposite climate. Dryer sheets are a must for me.

I cant believe Im just seeing the form. I did fill it out and hope I can come! As far as what you have said so far, it looks like we can make it. Its so exciting. By the way, I have this canvas and I will be starting it as soon as I finish Everest that I am doing for Dakotathon! I had to kit it up as soon as took it out the box because 2 bags of drills were broken and drills were all over the place. I took pictures but I wont be bothering DAC about it unless I run out of drills which I doubt will happen. Hope to see you soon!

Was anyone diamond painting at the retreat? I live 15 minutes away but saw it as a cross stitch retreat so didn't look into it. I'm heading to a diamond painting retreat in Pennsylvania next month, it's my first. But if this local one allows people to diamond paint then I'll definitely look at it for next year!
If I had the space, I'd bring it! There isn't much space on the table, so the project would need to be a bit on the smaller side. It's all cross stitched themed, like the goodies and everything, so if you aren't into that I think it might be a little...boring? What's one more craft, though? :)

I can't do my own WIP n Chats for the anxiety that you mentioned. My family does watch and follow my youtube and it's like walking on eggshells with them whenever I say anything. That's why I mostly post speed paint style videos or shorts or maybe reviews/ unboxings. That's why my socials been dead because with diamond painting it's so hard to figure out if it's gonna work or not because I started my socials as a digital artist. But I'm dealing with a similar issue with my health journey. I'm in the overweight category and this hobby is my therapy. I just dont know how to properly balance this with my own health. With my digital art, at least I get to force myself to take a break and put away the tablet. Depending on the size I can't do that with a DP due to space.
An aside, having struggled with opiate addiction and recovering from that, I TOTALLY understand your struggles with food. And you are absolutely spot on. Unless a person chooses for themselves, they will never make a change. I am so glad that you are finding your peace. Much love, pretty lady
