For the Faralas grinding on the Naga's, there IS actually a cave a little bit deeper into the area you were showing in the video, that holds LOTS of mining nodes and a chest spawn. It was very worth clearing the cave out every so often to hit the nodes and chest
There's a named guy in there that's a culmination of a quest chain from the nearby stronghold. For those playing hardcore it's worth noting that the death heatmap shows this place claims a lot of people to use good judgement and caution if you decide to go in.
A great spot to farm and level/grind is the Felwood cave, it’s less contested great xp decent loot they fall easy but most important the horses rarely come in here ... also if u do mining it has 3-4 nodes inside

Now I'm sitting at a nice 30-50k an hour anytime I log on, and don't sit at 10-20k from corpse running. All these mobs are so easy to kill compared to others you fight. I also farmed the whelpings in Badlands for 40k an hour while making anywhere between 30-60 gold per hour from little flame sacs on the AH. 1g 30s per, and they drop one every 5-7 mobs at the very least. Plus you could get the pet, which sells for up to 300g on some servers.

My 48 and up grind will be Felwood/Winterspring for Timbermaw rep and Wintersaber rep, which will keep me occupied for a rather considerable amount of time and get me to 60 with a nice bankroll...I hope.
Wintersaber grind is a nightmare .. I did it over 10 years ago...if you are not a NE .. you got to grind NE rep too in order to get Tiger Riding. When Bliz introduce the cash shop ...most players will have no clue what you are riding either. Lot of people on the Timbermaw although capped at Friendly atm (I believe) with only a small number of items to buy (until later phases) Trinket you got at Exalted was not much good but obviously good fun.
So do these grinding spots level faster than actually questing in these areas? For example 46-52 just killing nagas does it really get you more xp than questing? (I’m new to vanilla)
Grinding is faster than questing. Questing is more fun than grinding. Grinding is the optimal solution if you have like a netflix show for example or something to watch on your second screen, since you're getting to level 60 quicker but doing something monotonous and boring. Questing feels quicker since you're doing something that's actually engaging and has story and different phases. But Grinding is ultimately the faster way to play. Just the least fun way to play depending how you look at it.
@@aldeen9190 I'd argue specifically that grinding is faster exactly because of world PVP. World PVP will make questing in areas like STV, Hillsbrad, Badlands, Blasted Lands very difficult. At least this way you aren't running across the map, making yourself a target and increasing the odds of someone seeing you. Plus grinding for XP is literally the most XP efficient way of leveling anyway at the level range of like 25-50 anyway.
The purpose of the video is to show the quickest methods which is why I don't focus on the gear or rested XP. Along the way for example I did a ton of side shit that you shouldn't be doing if you're rushing to 60 quickly; warrior quests, dungeons, etc

Grinding the Rock Elementals as a melee class is extremely inefficient. Like you said, they have high HP and armor, which makes them among the worst targets to efficiently grind for physical damage dealers. I don't care how good their loot tables are, this is not a good spot.

Very close to that spot is some Ogres in a camp, but I am still trying to figure out another spot for you guys. You aren't the first to ask hah. That spot is extremely common because of the Gold per hour you're making while you're there. I'm still trying to come up with alternate paths, but I'm also working on another video
@@karlittos The Nagas are the sickest farm, I really hope they aren't crowded at this point. Such ez gold if you get the right drops in those clamshells.
@Sebastian MI actually am lvl 38 and did the math and your counting is pretty accurate. As Hunter vs humanoids I take 15 seconds per kill, with the running in-between let's say 30 seconds. So 2 kills per minute which equals 400 exp per minute. Therefore 5-8 minutes of mob farming should be equal to the exp of one quest.
Would you say this is faster then saying following a guide like zygor ingame addon? I dont mind grinding really, since its just pop some music/chat with people and just go zombie mode.
Great concise video. Would love the epic mount farming and a video about what to do if you hit level 40 and cant afford your mount. Spots to farm things to look for like an emergency farm kinda video that people can watch to get their mount asap Lotta people hit 40 and have 30 gold but still want their mount asap.
This exact video is one I was playing around with, but a big issue is it'll prolly be another week until that's out if I do it! I can tell you right now skinning and vendoring is your best friend for last minute gold, but for now I can't say for sure it'll be coming out for at least a week.
I grinded nagas from 47 to 51 rogue stun and kick works well since they use magic was fast took me about 16 hours the big thing for me was in the cave on the other side is rich with mines and pickpocketing. The mobs got me from 175 to 240 pickpocketing and mining from 225 to 270 about 12 nods. The bad thing is the hump to sell made about 250g to 300g. Alliance has a quest there to kill the lord but they run in and out mobs are close and many of them all and all good grinding not as fast as instances but with pickpocketing and mining this is a rogue must place. Have not seen 1 horde player on my server there. Also this best done solo Rogue is best here.
Hey Lovejoy I'm glad you've found the spot so profitable :) I'm currently doing research for a level 50-60 grinding guide (for gold) and you think this Naga cave is one of the most profitable places you've stopped by as a Rogue thus far?
@@Bryan7474 Aren't you better off getting to 60 then grinding for mount ? ATM there is a mass of players at any one level because the servers are new. Staying ahead of the main pack helps with XP per hour and gold. Fall behind and unless levelling out of core hours one imagines grinding will be more time consuming because of larger numbers of players getting high enough to compete with you. I certainly experienced the front end of the pack impinging on the rock elementals as I was within a level or two of moving on to the Nagas.. Would also mention that fishing for Winter squid next to the NPC fisherman on the beach by Feathermoon Stronghold (during the morning) was profitable as they were going for 30-40s each on my server. Breaks up the grind a bit but obviously you need ot have levelled your Fishing skill beforehand.
@@Baldnesz yes and no! It does make more sense to level than to sit around grinding gold, yes. But getting a mount asap at level 40 speeds up leveling by a bit as well. So it's preference !
I managed to powerlevel from 40-60 in 1 week by ZF farming whilst questing in tanaris, feralas, ungoro and winterspring. once you hit 50 you BRD farm, only times i farmed are in tanaris with pirates and feralas with yetis. You should be taking every dungeon run you can get. The travel is slow but the exp is definitely caught up in there. Oh and late 40s you can do a full mara run if you get bored. Like if mindlessly grinding is what you like to do then this guide is great, but when I play games, i want to be engaged and mindlessly grinding mobs is just a terrible way to go for me.
It depends a ton on if you find Golden Pearls and how much they're going for on your auction house. If you crack open those shells and get a Gold Pearl throw it on the AH and you can make some ez gold. But if your intention is solely Gold farming Hatecrests aren't the only option, they're just optimal for Gold + xp gain together. I like the basilisks in STV for Gold Farming at this level range iirc, but I'm looking into potentially making a Gold making Guide with proper numbers in the coming days depending on interest :)
@@emilkristensen6667 Yes, by far. The time you spend traveling, looking for quests, doing the quests, fighting with other players over quest requirements, etc. vs just grinding is a huge difference in leveling. The people who hit level 60 in a week or less are all grinding, although usually more coordinated with more than 1 player.
Much quicker than questing, I won't comment on dungeons because I'm not sure. You can technically get a shit ton of xp if you run a dungeon quick enough with as few party members as possible. If you had 2 people in your group for example the XP rate on all those elites etc. would be remarkable. But that's obviously very difficult to pull off.
I would say not. Does depend on server and the time of the day. You also have people doing spell cleave dungeon runs that appear to net a lot of XP if you get in a reliable group. What grinding does give you is the ability to do other things because you are not having to concentrate as much plus decent gold because you are killing that many more mobs.
know i can tell you from experience (having only leveld by grinding rom 22-42, tho as a hunter) its fairly fast, im know 50 and i make a level each 4-6 hours on average depending on how comitted i am. but you can also combine grinding with questing i tried that for a bit and it makes a bit more fun imo, altho its maybe a bit slower.
Out of the countless clams, I got 1 Golden pearl over the 4 levels. It instantly sold on my server for 13g. The cave is amazing though, mob density is so good. I think there is one quest for the named guy in there but he is just as easy to kill as the other Naga. So I'd just invite the person that was there for the quest and then they would leave after. It was easier to be nice and help for 1-3 kills vs. fight over mobs with them. Also respawn rate was perfect. Hunter BTW. (side note: Zesty clam meat will get you from 225-300 cooking if you make Undermine Clam Chowder. Recipe is from a Vendor in Steamwheedle Port.) Only thing that sucks about this spot so far, is it is so far away.
Lucky!!! I can't tell you the server. Its an official WoW server, PVE though. Its on the same list as all the others, but this one is special. Low key, no drama and we trying to keep it that way.
What I mention at the very end of Part 1 is that I lied in the title and you SHOULD stay for the extra 2 levels, or go grind in a dungeon for gear for the extra 2 levels. That one last spot is VERY good for level 40-42 still.
You could always pick up quests for the relevant mobs, but you don't need to quest. This is the fastest method of leveling without questing for the average player / class.
Do not spend gold on anything other than necessary spells up until level 40. Unless you have an alt or an alternative way of making Gold while you grind
I was at the mount vendor today and the epic mounts were 900g each. In the video it shows the training is 900g. And the mounts are 100g. Why are they different?

Why are you showing every zone with insanely exaggerated exp gains on kill while having rested exp like anyone who is seriously grinding for levels is gonna have rested consistently?
The amount of XP I'm getting from the kill itself is irrelevant. Most of these clips aren't shot during my actual grinding, I don't livestream or record my grinds. Many of these spots are visited after not being online for days at a time for these recordings sometimes. The XP per hour is generally without being rested, this is the info you gotta watch.

is the 56-60 farm still viable? how much does it cost on the AH?
i wonder if this is still relevent today. im trying to get gold at level 50

Do you have any alternative to the rock elements?
Camp Cagg there is a bunch of ogres, farm them for great XP and ez drops

i need some good spot for my lvl 49 rouge its a twink and i have allready epic items but i cant find a spot only the nagas in ferelas in the cave
First Wan to say thank you to help the solo player like me second I was going to ask to make a second one faster lv up playing solo
Hey is this way faster than questing with war? I am lvl 40 now and I only did quests.
It's technically faster than questing, but more boring. Recommend watching/listening to something while you grind.
Much faster.
But feels slower. Time is a drag if you only grind. This is best to do when watching a tv show or something on one screen and playing wow on the other for example.
@@Bryan7474 Like me, grinding on main monitor and reading comments on another one xD
Hey @Bryan7474 how much time you extimate to get from 54 to 60 on winterspring? in terms of hours killing mobs? tnx sir
A very, very long time. Let me look into this for you tonight :)
@@Bryan7474 I manage to get to level 58, only missing 2 levels. Do you know the math? Horde on my server is pain
Hey bryan7474, is there any alternetive for 42-46? That spot is full of people in my server :D
Very close to that spot is some Ogres in a camp, but I am still trying to figure out another spot for you guys. You aren't the first to ask hah.
That spot is extremely common because of the Gold per hour you're making while you're there. I'm still trying to come up with alternate paths, but I'm also working on another video
@@Bryan7474 ye im gona farm the ogres when its crowded and the elementals when they are ok. I have to think its only a few lvls to go farm the nagas!
@@karlittos The Nagas are the sickest farm, I really hope they aren't crowded at this point. Such ez gold if you get the right drops in those clamshells.
@@Bryan7474 I got 3 Gold pearls from level 47-51 ..getting probably 1.5 silver average per mob.
How many hours per level does it take just grinding mobs? Like the naga in feralas for example
In 10 mins I went up 3% it was raining exp. Stayed there from 48-51
Thanks for the video bro 👍🏻
im lvl 46 at the naga spot and they are already green for me are there some at a higher level around there or what?
No!
In Vanilla killing mobs while they're green is considered fine. Just keep killing them. You're also using these guys for the Gold Per Hour! :)
@@Bryan7474 That's what im also confused about i farmed this spot now for 6 hours and got 20g from it, that's like peanuts to be honest? :P
Asger Escherich how long did you take you to level while doing these grinds?
@@MitchMurray247 Well im at lvl 55 now, and farming the ghosts and it takes around 6 hours to gain a lvl
Since I'm new to Classic : is it really faster to just mindlessly farm those mobs instead of doing Quests ???
yes it's faster but I like to do a combination not to get bored.
@Sebastian M which is crazy isn't it ? Because grinding mobs feels like it takes forever since it's so boring
@Sebastian M agreed. I'll probably implement more grinding but keep a healthy mix with questing for the gear :) thanks for reaching out mate!
Would you say this is faster then saying following a guide like zygor ingame addon? I dont mind grinding really, since its just pop some music/chat with people and just go zombie mode.
Those add-ons are great if your quest flow isn't shattered by something getting in the way.
I find players get in the way of questing too often.
I find myself getting in my way too often. Grinding is the answer. :)
how many hours do I have to play a day for this ?
bro he is full rested all the time
is this faster then questing im a 32 hunter and im trying to get to 60 before bwl is out
Is grinding hours on end better than questing for the same amount of time??
It's quicker.
It's also very boring.
So it's not better but it's definitely more efficient.
How do you get rested for so long??
Great concise video. Would love the epic mount farming and a video about what to do if you hit level 40 and cant afford your mount. Spots to farm things to look for like an emergency farm kinda video that people can watch to get their mount asap
Lotta people hit 40 and have 30 gold but still want their mount asap.
This exact video is one I was playing around with, but a big issue is it'll prolly be another week until that's out if I do it!
I can tell you right now skinning and vendoring is your best friend for last minute gold, but for now I can't say for sure it'll be coming out for at least a week.
is it worth grinding nagas from 50-52? and how long would it take "estimated"~
@@lovejoy4117 what mine?
So it's preference !
what was your /played?
Better grinding Ogres in Tanaris as Thistleshrub thingiees are invariably too popular on high pop servers atm.
Nice, I will try this
I managed to powerlevel from 40-60 in 1 week by ZF farming whilst questing in tanaris, feralas, ungoro and winterspring. once you hit 50 you BRD farm, only times i farmed are in tanaris with pirates and feralas with yetis.
What is the Gold per hour on the Hatecrests?
It depends a ton on if you find Golden Pearls and how much they're going for on your auction house. If you crack open those shells and get a Gold Pearl throw it on the AH and you can make some ez gold.
But if your intention is solely Gold farming Hatecrests aren't the only option, they're just optimal for Gold + xp gain together.
I like the basilisks in STV for Gold Farming at this level range iirc, but I'm looking into potentially making a Gold making Guide with proper numbers in the coming days depending on interest :)
Is it more efficient than questing tho?
@@emilkristensen6667 Yes, by far.
The time you spend traveling, looking for quests, doing the quests, fighting with other players over quest requirements, etc. vs just grinding is a huge difference in leveling.
The people who hit level 60 in a week or less are all grinding, although usually more coordinated with more than 1 player.
@@Bryan7474 Any spot with similar level for skining?
Is this faster than questing/dungeons if I have 4-5 hours a day play time? And would I see a level a day ? Currently I'm level 42 nearly 43
I'm not a miner but I did 48-52 on Hatecrest Naga. There is a Gold vein in the cave, just saying. I ran past it for 8 hours yesterday.
Yeah I'm actually doing a bit of an update video on the hatecrests but did you happen to get many golden pearls while you were grinding there?
Rulon Anderson what server are u on 13g is nothing... I got like 6 from 46-52 and they sold from 33-45g each
Lucky!!! I can't tell you the server. Its an official WoW server, PVE though. Its on the same list as all the others, but this one is special. Low key, no drama and we trying to keep it that way.
pt.1 is from lvl 1-40, pt.2 is from 42-60.....where do you farm 40-42?
What I mention at the very end of Part 1 is that I lied in the title and you SHOULD stay for the extra 2 levels, or go grind in a dungeon for gear for the extra 2 levels.
That one last spot is VERY good for level 40-42 still.
why do you have a quiver as a warrior ?
Didn't really think about it while leveling, someone told me it's dumb and not to continue doing it though lol
Can you tell me the /played time please
What, i just need to killing mobs without quests or what ?
You could always pick up quests for the relevant mobs, but you don't need to quest. This is the fastest method of leveling without questing for the average player / class.
Thistleshrubs are always crowded for the noggenfogger quest..
YES lvl 40 - 60 first zone 42 - 46 *yes* and in P2 you can't grind in this zone if you are a²
Anyone know the xp per hour or time per level doing this?

How do you keep your gear up to date while grinding? Just buy from AH? Do you earn enough gold for that to be realistic?
Do not spend gold on anything other than necessary spells up until level 40.
Unless you have an alt or an alternative way of making Gold while you grind
Nagas until 52? They're so low level it'd take 500 hours to get there..
Thanks!

no idea but those nagas drop jack shit.
Imagine being this stupid 💀💀💀 where in the video did he say you'd get the same exp he's getting? Try using your brain
Dude I feel like grinding dungeons and quests would be way faster.
They would definitely feel faster but grinding is known as the most efficient way of leveling in WoW, especially with classes that AOE or can't PVP effectively.
