The turtles in hills brad foothills have the same loot table and are level 30. There is a huge beach full of them next to undercity and hillsbrad foothills.
If you had skinning and vendored leather and hides and also vendored everything that you picked up, other than pearls so that you could kill for longer before visiting vendor, i think you would have made twice as much
Def gonna do this on my troll hunter since I also have skinning so this is even more productive. I enjoy grinding so this is a good way to get couple levels at 40 range. Thanks for this video!
Skinning hunters are probably the best class prof combination. You can send pet with a serpent sting and then skin why working on the next mob. Plus hunters don't have much downtime if you don't spam abilities as much. These turtles also drop 2 leather per kill most of the time, 1 turtle scale 1 heavy/thick leather so its a guaranteed 2.5s per kill from skinning on top of turtle meat and grey drops.
I usually fly to theramore and get soothing spices to make the turtle bisque, I make about 1.4s per turtle meat for vending these. Zesty Clam meat makes undermine chowder which is closer to 2s per meat after the Mats, so you may want to keep these instead if you're looking to just vendor the meat. The turtle meat sells better because it's the turn in item for the bisque recipe in southshore
This is great if you are around your level and want experience at the same time. At level 39 i did some crayfish pot farming and make between 11-16 gold an hour. I was able to get my mount this way at 40. I was using an undead mage. I may do what you did for a level or two since im around your level and the experience you were getting was pretty good.
5:38 You go to a vendor, empty 6 bagslots, then leave town to go grind more turtles to fill 6 bag slots...? You could have freed up 16 slots alone by mailing your turtle meat to a bank/auction alt. Your 10 hours of grinding would have been way more efficient if you dump your remaining inventory to an alt, after vendoring. Lots of unnecessary trips for less and less value.
@@camarodaly22 True but I still think you should only make the trip when your bags are totally full of non junk :D It only takes like 5 seconds to sell your junk at the port when you're running by the vendor.
Did the exact same grind but, specifically for skinning. You need 112 of their scales for all of the wild one quests that you have to do to become a tribal leatherworker.
You should really go full Frozen wrath gear, I can tell your gear is just plain old intellect stam spirit stuff. But a full set of frozen wrath will pay for itself by giving you like 50% more damage.
Shhhhh this is my newest favorite spot, but I've been going to the southern beach by cureagos gold quest. The turtle there are 48-50 so they're perfect for my 49 priest.
10hrs of time is completely subjective, having a kill count as a guide would've been a much more reliable way of measuring gold/hr, as kill times, downtime etc factor in to it.
not sure what he uses but for plates that show your debuffs on it, Threat Plates is the best. hands down, this looks very similar so maybe he has spent time tweaking it to how he wants it. it has pretty decent customisation options. not sure what his unit frames are. his action bar layout can be achieved using Dominoes addon, hands down the best action bar addon in my opinion.

Not a spot worth farming unless you're a skinner, really. Skinning is the one that makes this spot worthwile with the turtle scales being in high demand. That’s the funny thing. Not everyone finds it boring. Sometimes, one doesn’t feel like questing. Also, I love the surprise of having something awesome drop. I was grinding basilisks and the epic Staff of Jordan dropped. Yeah, that was a one-in-a-million thing, but you just never know when it will happen. The turtles in hills brad foothills have the same loot table and are level 30. There is a huge beach full of them next to undercity and hillsbrad foothills.
