WOW! The Loy Krathong parade in Chiang Mai, was one of the most beautiful parades I have ever seen! The floats were so amazing and the traditional costumes topped it off!
We walked from our hotel in the Old City to Pratu Tha Phae Park where we positioned ourselves at the start of the parade about 30-45 minutes before it started. During that time the streets began to fill very quickly.
We are very blessed to have witnessed the Loy Krathong parade and festivities around Chiang Mai.
