    I have seen others demonstrate this tool. They added a piece of fun foam placed under the paper to be stamped. It changed the quality of the stamped impression dramatically. I hope that helps.

      That's a great idea, but that shouldn't be necessary if the product was designed correctly. But, if it "needs" a pad, it should come with that pad. I think the tool needs a bit of work as the punch board part isn't easy to use, either..

    I use this things for everything every day. I've never had anything else, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I've been able to learn and do so many things with it that I'm positive I would have had to buy several other tools in order to do them. So glad I got this. It's perfect for a beginner!

    For me - a great HIT. It is compact and sturdy and perfect for traveling. I love the cutting tool - it does not curve and cuts perfectly straight, and the fact that I can score my paper as soon as I have cut it is a huge plus for me. The fold out arm offers the most closely joined and accurate measurements of all the cutting tools I possess (and I have many!). The stamping platform works perfectly well if you use a foam pad underneath polymer stamps as you need to do with many other stamping platforms. The envelope, banner and tag cutting guides and punches make a perfect all in one tool for me as well. Down here in deepest furthest southern Africa, this tool is a great hit!

    You need to close the arm to use the punch and corner rounder. It’s not hard to do when done right.

    I have one of these and I absolutely love it. I only use the stamping platform for sentiments as it isn't quite up to larger stamps but as for everything else it is the perfect tool. I have made a lot of envelopes for Christmas cards this year and this was fantastic!!

      I could see myself possibly being interested(haven't watched whole thing yet) for things other than the stamping part. I still struggle with using scoreboards and have yet to use an envelope maker in the years I have made cards. I have just started branching out a little more. Though costs prohibit much of my want to tries. :)

    Wow! All that’s left is for it to do is wash the dishes, Lol! I don’t like all-in-one tools. Instead of doing one thing really well, they seem to do several things just okay! But on a personal note, don’t you think things are getting out of hand with all of these tools? It just seems like greedy commercialism bent on keeping you buying! Between stamps, paper, ink, blending tools, cutters, die cutters, Dies, punches, boards, tools, embellishments, etc., etc., it costs about $100 dollars to make a card. I used to think paying $5 for a Hallmark card was expensive until I started making handmade cards.

    • @techiescrapper
      @techiescrapper 4 роки тому +1

      It just depends on what you want to make for cards...I made cards well under 5.00....you can cut your own paper buy envelopes from walmart or Office Depot for really cheap like a box of 50....you don’t have to have all of the tools to make cards

    I am really beginning to love mine. It does take some getting used to, and some practice. As for the press, I find it stamps better if you keep the stamp closer to the bottom of the platform, it's almost like there is too much space up at the top. I also use a foam mat with the photopolymer, just as you do with any other stamp positioning tool, and believe me, I have them all.

    • @Amywazwaz06
      @Amywazwaz06 4 роки тому +1

      Cyndi Liekhus yeah I was thinking that too. That it would of been better and but more fair if she had a price of craft foam to just throw under there to try and see if it gave a better stamped image.
      I have several of the stamp platforms by different brands. And honestly you get better images with any stamp even using a block if you have some cushion under it. You need something to be able to push into.
      I have several we r memory items. And their stamp press is good. The odd thing was she said in this video she doesn’t like their stamp press. But I bought mine after seeing her do a couple reviews on it a while back. I feel like she may have been sponsored by them a few times and had good reviews at that time of them.
      The misti is really expensive. And although this one is too at $69 or so. I seen it at a scrapbook store a little higher even. But it has so many things in it. For a new crafter it really would be a great investment. And I would assume it may show up in the box craft stores sometime and be able to
      Use their coupons on it to save more money.

      @@Amywazwaz06 Hi Amy, I got lucky with mine. I found it on HSN for $40. That was before it had been released to any of the stores. My main reason for buying it was the number of tools. I have extremely limited crafting space, and the more room I can conserve, the better. As for the stamp platforms, because of arthritis, i had to quit stamping many years ago. I was ever so happy to find the Misti. I have one of her original ones, the ones she was making.

    If you’re limited for space this would be great as it has so many tools in the one. The stamp press obviously needs some playing with. It looks like you didn’t use this at all before this demo which I don’t understand. Why demo a tool for your followers based on something you’ve not tried yet? We are basing your review on whether to purchase these products. When you punched the corner over on the left, in normal crafting conditions, would you not have brought that plastic arm back in to make the job a little easier? Reaching over the desk to punch a corner rounder is not going to give a good cut. This tool, given what is included, is obviously going to be expensive. I know you’re busy and pushed for time but if you’re going to do a review, do it properly and give it the time it deserves. If it were a Tonic tool, I believe you would have.

      I love my WeR tool. It is a shame it wasn't demonstrated fully/properly, especially as it didn't look like the stamp printed any better out on the desk. However there were some positives mentioned at the end of the video. As you say, a review needs to be comprehensive and unrushed...

      Just a thought -- I haven't read many of these but 'Tis the season to be jolly, kind and all. The assumption of good will has also helped me (74 year old) over the years -- it lessens the tightness in your stomach when you are frustrated. The 'assumption ...' was the motto at a company I worked for several years ago. Basically, if you feel someone has done something you don't like, don't assume it was done on purpose or out of malice... Their thought processes were different from ours, and they were acting logically in their mind. Just a thought :)

I literally went from having a furrowed brow to a smile. Merry Christmas Dawn, you are lovely. 🥰🎄🎅🏼⭐️❤️

      I feel like her review is not comprehensive enough. We r memory keepers has some great products. I don’t own them all but own a few. This is interesting for me as I don’t have a few of the boards that this one can do.
      But I feel to have given a more honest review she needed to have used it off screen for a while to have gotten used to it. As crafters the first few times using things take some getting use to always. I have went back to techniques or tools later after my first few uses were unhappy and found someone giving tips and then became
      Very happy with the tool or techniques.
      Every stamp platform comes with foam
      We r memory keepers could of added some foam to this one as they did with their stamp press. But craft foam is cheap also.
