This is what I have been searching for.. learning where 1/8”, 1/4” & 1/2” on right side of blade… I have wasted so much paper trying to learn.. thanks so much 😊 and all your other tips are amazing. I have passed this on to a couple of my friends so we can learn how to use every part of this.trimmer ❤
Thank you for some information that I did not have, the little foot on the pull out, the CORRECT way to insert the cutting blades and the easy way to make triangles. Thank you, thank you.
Awesome! I am so glad! Yeah... there are so many features to that trimmer I just had to make a video to make sure I shared them all. Thanks for watching!
Hi Ruth! How did I miss this? So sorry! Actually, I purchased this set from IKEA. It is called the Skadis Pegboard with Skadis Shelves. They hook into the pegboard. It is affordable, easy to install (they have directions), and super durable!
Yay! Thank you, Heidi! That means a lot! And I recognize your name... You were my Family Feud hook-up. I made another after using yours so successfully at my retreat. :) SO fun!
Great video and very helpful tips! I forget to use my sightline guides, and I never remember to extend the foot on the ruler. And that’s a great tip about using the ruler on the side of the blade track and measuring to the edge of the blade cover. I need to remember that. I usually just cut all the way down. Thanks!
I really wanted to love this trimmer but I simply do not. It's become an expensive dust collector in my craft room! It does NOT CUT A STRAIGHT LINE EVER nor does it cut evenly a 12 x 12 sheet into 4 inch strips. Very disappointed with this tool. The grey rubber strip also is useless...it clogs up so quickly and is costly to replace.
Oh gosh, I am so sorry to hear you are unhappy. Have you asked your Advisor you purchased it from about it? (Not sure of your name since I only see your user name.) I know that CM offers a 90-day warranty for manufacturing defects.
@@TheLazyScrapbooker yes I spoke with her. She was aware of the cutting issues of it not cutting straight and offered no solution 😕 I will contact CM and see if anything can be done. Thanks for your reply
@@HandcraftedintheFoothills Not sure of the timing when you bought it; I certainly hope they can help. Here is the customer service contact info if that helps: customerservice@creativememories.com or leave a message at 1-320-281-1424. They are a small group but very responsive and helpful.

I had no idea this trimmer had so many features! And I’ve had it a while now. Thanks so much!
@@kimjohnson6415 Awesome! I'm so glad that was helpful! I've got a short with another tip in case you haven't seen it. Cutting a circle in half!
Greatest trimmer EVER!!!
Totally agree!

Thank you so much, Kim! I appreciate that - thanks for watching!
When I looked at how the cutting blades cut in the catalog, I was not all that interested. But now that you demonstrated it, I want them all! 😄
Oh wow! That's so great, Lisa! I am glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching. Which blade is your favorite?
Could you show us how you built the punch holder on the pegboard - looks very handy and good.

I didn't know about the sight lines and I've been using this since it came out.
I think those are the most hidden feature! 😆 But the cutting line works as one too.
Great, informative video.
Thank you, Lynne!
This was an amazing video Donna! I am a Creative Memories Advisor as well and even I learned something new! Well done.

Excellentk tutorial! What a find in this ‘new’ trimmer,
Thank you Christine! I am so glad it was helpful to you. And I agree... this 12" trimmer is the best. So glad you found it!
Yes very good demo
Great video!
Thanks so much, Patricia!
Love this!

My favorite blade is ...ALL of them! I just bought the stamping blade. Next...the scallop!
LOL - that's awesome!
Is this easier to read or is the dark blue one with the white lines easier to read?
Hi Martha, I have both, wear glasses, and actually find the white trimmer with black lines/numbers easier to read. Great question!
Yep, I'm notorious for pushing too hard and cutting the paper. Ugh
I learned that the hard way! 😅
