10 bananas is healthy?! (Reacting to when I ate raw)

- Reacting to one of my old videos from 2010 called "That's too much fruit on a low fat raw vegan diet?" Obviously this was when I was still eating a "fully raw" diet (low fat, high carb, lots of fruit 80/10/10 style). Sometimes it's good to see how far we've come. Sometimes it's terribly awkward and embarrassing and WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY HAIR?!

I was thinking about reacting to one of these via live stream. Anyone interested in that? Also, first.
Unnatural Vegan reaction video to seitan comments
Yes! Do it!
Would you talk to guests like on younow? I would be interested in that.
nah
yeah man
Any eating plan that tells me I can't use garlic is just.....not worth it.
It's bullshit too because onions and garlic are SO GOOD FOR YOU
Garlic and onion is life
I donť like onions but I would like to put garlic in every food :D
elektraeriseros are you italian?
The Cajun trinity I couldn’t live without
That's the sad thing. For a lot of girls who have eating issues and subject themselves to crazy restrictions, the idea of being able to eat as much as they want of anything feels freeing.
I used to have really bad restriction habits (probably pretty bad anorexia but I was never diagnosed) and nearly decided to follow a fully raw diet at 16. I'm so so glad, looking back, that I decided not to.
Jacqueline Underwood same (almost) for me I used vegetarianism to restrict my food and have an excuse to not eat something (my family is southern so we always ate fried foods and gumbo). Now I eat whatever the f I want and I feel great.
@@jacquelineunderwood7115 me to 😣 I remember back in college when I was at my worst, I would claim I was eating raw, and just eat the salad out of my sandwiches, eat a piece of fruit for lunch, salad or the peas on the side of the plate for tea. I thought that because I was eating healthy foods, that I would be really healthy as a result, it's taken me almost seven years to realise just how stupid that was
"Cows eat grass all day long"
"Very good, Swayze"
LMAOOOOOOO
When cows have 4 stomachs,lol
It's remarkable that you stayed vegan after such a rocky/traumatic start!
after worst possible, less worst is better
Raw vegan not vegan
What I want to know is how did you make that transition from head deep in woo to one of the most skeptical vegans on the internet?
Two things, perhaps. First, raw food never quite became part of my identity, although it was a big part of my life and I did make money promoting it. I always considered myself primarily a skeptic/rational person and eventually I learned raw didn't fit with that. It was either stay raw and essentially follow a religion, or give it up (same thing happened with objectivism/libertarianism). Second, I never idolized Graham or any of the other cult leaders. This made it not only easier to them for what they were, but more importantly, to accept it.
Can you maybe do a video sometime on objectivism/libertarianism and why you don't hold that position anymore?
I like to stay in the middle. But slightly more away from the raw hippie vegan side.
Sc
Skeptical Swayze
@@UnnaturalVegan debate Vegan Gains, he would expose you.
I came for the reaction, I stayed for the cat.
omg me too
Yvette ASMR same + I love your channel lol
Yvette ASMR I love watching the cat.
Sounds like what some people do on a triple-x site...
The cow idiom your old self made sent me laughing in tears. "Nobody tells a cow that they eat too much grass". BECAUSE THEY'RE A COW.
When I was researching 80/10/10 all of the recipes were like "use 1/4 avocado." I was like bitch gtf out of here with that shit. I'm so glad I never went down that path.
My point was eat the whole avocado. Limiting whole plant fats never made any sense to me. They exist for a reason.
Stephanie Jones yep! you're so right and avocatos are 5,60 a kg lol no no I eat cheap fruit beans check peas etc. and I am glad that I spend much less and use all the products I buy!
Stephanie Jones 😂
i don't know if i could live without garlic or onions. lol. its just so essential to just about everything i cook
I had to learn how to cook without onions when my best friend developed a weird sensitivity to them. I was an interesting experience, let me tell you.
They just go with everything! 😍
WHO THE FUCK SAID YOU SHOULDN'T EAT ONION AND GARLIC?!?!
Super Sunflower I wondered that too.
Super Sunflower right????!!!! I use garlic and onions in so many dishes that's so ridiculous
Super Sunflower those 2 loons, happy healthy vegan lmao.
Unless you be living in a a buddhist temple and don't want to offend your guests with bad breath, then you be dumb.
Super Sunflower right? Onions and garlic create the base of most of my recipes.
I was eating a lot of nuts and avacodos there and my skin totally changed.....tight pores, less oily and so soft. Fat is not the enemy.
The key is always BALANCE. With a vegan diet. These extreme Vegans like Freelee the banana girl. Give the lifestyle a bad name. A balanced Vegan diet of Fruits, vegetables, Beans, lentils. Nuts and seeds in moderation. Is supreme.
Except when taking supplements that warn on the pack that they don't replace a balanced diet. Check your supplements!
Amen to the always feeling cold thing!!! I was eating Raw Til 4 with probably less than 5% fat (no overt fats such as nuts, seeds, etc. even oatmeal had too much fat for me. 🙄) during the summer last year and was stick thin, so I didn't think the heat not bothering me was anything serious. Then, as soon as it hit 60 degrees, I was shivering 24/7 and no amount of blankets could keep me warm. My hands were always chapped, cracked, and bleeding. I had two jobs during the fall and winter, and would eat my "lunch" (two large carrots) in my car between jobs, shivering so bad I thought I was going to pass out.
I finally started eating more starches and fats earlier this year, and a hell of a lot more protein. I hardly even eat fruit anymore and I feel so much better. Eat your fats!!!!!!!!!
That's not healthy either to barely eat any fruit.......
@@cool_kid103 you can survive without eating fruit at all. There are vegetables you know...
@@mandyschmidt7164 You can survive off of coke and BigMacs, that doesn't mean its healthy.
Didn't you say your cat was older? Like 18/19? He's so spry! I love seeing him play in the background.
INFTay I know that was so cute!
INFTay I hope her cat lives longer and becomes best friends with her baby
I actually remember watching this video, while having a serious eating disorder. I never had any intention of being 'raw' or 'low fat' but somehow the obsessive rhetoric and focus on food was appealing to me. Looking back I find this video genre kind of appalling and stupid (not to criticize you personally) - seems to have a narrow audience (i.e. people with eating disorders).
I did the same exact thing I would watch alllll the raw youtubers when I was first in my recovery just bc it like triggered me and my ed brain was like YESSS RESTRICTION
Same except for i was 80/10 /10 watching her. Didnt reaoize i had an ed
a great benefit to veganism is that you can eat a lot more than non-vegans. But as raw vegan you have to eat allll the timeeee. Like the example with cows: yes, they eat A LOT of grass but they eat all day too. Who wants to do nothing all day but eat
I totally agree with your statement about the sustainability or rather unsustainably of the raw and fruit diet. This is something that the raw people refuse to understand. Fruit is the most wasteful of all the plant foods per calorie. You can't run civilization off of bananas and organic kale. Grains and other staples are grown for a reason.
Are the cats on your shirt smoking blunts
me: wow yeah that's a ton of fruit
also me: *eats a whole sleeve of tomatoes like apples*
didnt eat too much kale seitan back then?
Estela Benz Kale seitan = hail satan
So what is this with "kale seitan"? I keep seeing it in comment sections of Unnatural Vegan's videos.
I guess it's some sort of joke but I would like to know in reference to what.
She keeps mentioning her home made and delicious kale seitan in her video's and what I eat today's, and keeps promising the recipe, but never does! It's kind of like Natalie Tran and her lamingtons.
I'm not eating much of it either because i don't know how to make it :(
+Babbage Axel Lies! Kale is the best food ever. I like it raw and cooked. Sometimes I just chill with my rats, and we all chow on some kale.
I also enjoy seitan, but that's after I add the flavoring to make it taste like sausage, so it might not be the healthiest. Still, the idea of having kale inside the seitan is making me hungry.
Ugh I hate the boozy kind of ripe banana taste too! I actually prefer bananas that are still a little greenish, or just yellow without brown spots. Sweet enough for me.
They actually do taste alcohol..ly? I thought I was weird for thinking so!
Not for me, I feel like he texture is disgusting when there not ripe. But that's just me ❤❤❤
I like the brown ones for cooking. Like banana pancakes. Otherwise I like the yellow with spots.
I love fruit and I like to eat it, but I always wonder how you and other raw vegans ever felt sasiated on the fruit? Like, not hungry anymore or craving anything? I love fruit as a snack or treat, but it doesn't keep me full for long really.
amyinmyheart I agree!
A raw vegan diet is much too expensive because one would have to eat a lot of fruit and vegetables to be full also one has to go to the supermarket quite often and carry a lot and heavy stuff. We are a family of four (soon 5) and getting everyone full just with fruit and vegetables would be far too expensive, we make a green smoothie everyday and eat also a lot of fruit and vegetables but it's easier and cheaper to have a satisfying meal with starches (potatoes, sweet potatoes, rice, pasta) and for example legumes once a day
Sibi yes I totally agree.
amyinmyheart Fruit ois filling to me, but if I eat too much of it I become too jittery. 3 bananas are about right to make me full- if they are still a bit starchy. But then again, my appetite is super low. Sometimes I dilute juice and be done.
Thanks for your answer @Rachel P ! Whoah, I could never stomach such a huge smoothie in the morning. I usually have warm oatmeal in the morning with some kind of topping (fresh fruit or dried fruit or whatever I have on hand), but in the summer I sometimes like to substitute that with smoothies mixed with plant milk or soy joghurt and I can't imagine drinking so much of it in one go! :O I could imagine taking half / thirds of it with me and drinking it later though.
"It means you're eating too many god damn bananas" LOL I love your videos. You're great
I loved her hair before
Megan Velez agree!! she looks really naturally pretty in the first video with the way her hair is styled. I think that the glasses might even make her have a greater sexual allure if she were to style her hair the same way that she used to. I don't know if that came off rude or douchey but I have a bad tendency in wanting to optimize people's attractiveness
TXGA VM
please.
lmfao
same, I feel like it complimented her face well
Roxie Whitmire 😂😂😂gosh me too!
TXGA VM -her mission in life isn’t to optimize her attractiveness to please you. Are you sure you have the right video genre? Maybe try looking up the ‘22 convention’ info.
AHAHAHA your cat. "Are you peeing on my floor?!"
I feel happy that this movement of raw and rawtil4 and having super low fat and protein has dissolved in the media. I remember when I first went vegan or even looking into veganism and I was worried that I had to do this to be vegan cause everyone was doing it 😂
Also laughing at the grass argument 😂 I feel bad laughing at you, but I really love these videos!
FullyRawKristaina just made another video where she goes on and on about "the haters" and people "attacking" her for showing emotions, being vulnerable and crying on camera. I realise that she is a sensitive person, and there's nothing wrong with that, but boy, oh boy, she has a straight up persecution complex. The whole world seems to be against her.
I would be interested in a follow up video on "Kristina is closing her co-op Rawfully Organic (thoughts on corporations, cults, & organic produce)" addressing this.
Iris K To be sure, there are probably many people who antagonize her unnecessarily.
Blake I wouldn't say 'many'. Cause nobody cares that much lol
Iris K For me Kristina lost her credibility she lives a quite priviledged life (nothjing wring with that but she has money to buy tones of expensive food which most people don't), which makes her life style non acessible for most people.
Also.she photoshops her photos saying at the same time her diet make her skinny. So I have nothing against her and wish her well but sounds fake for me.
basically people are hating on her when she tried to help people and so what if she came from a well off family you can't choose to be born
I was so thin when I tried Freelee’s unhealthy raw till four diet. Ever since I started following her I gained 15 lbs 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️. Now I have to work on losing the weight. Her recommendations are illogical and unhealthy.
You are brave for critiquing yourself. Thanks for talking about your struggle because you aren’t the only one.
Sheesh Swayze, you're kinda mean to Swayze 😂
I actually really like your hair in the older video. I think it was really flattering.
One thing I've noticed between your old videos and new ones is that your eyes look healthier and more pronounced now! Do you know if you were ever anemic when you ate raw?
Homemaking Madeline I think she has said she has struggled with anemia.
She was- for the first few years of eating raw she didn't even supplement. She a review of diet book she wrote where she gets into it
Only 2 minutes in and i started giggling, not only are there tons of super ripe bananas on the table, there's a massive pile behind your head, lol. :p
I eat raw broccoli, carrots and other heavy vegetables all the time... it has never bugged me either. Tbh I didn't know that was a thing.
Not cuz I think it is healthy, I'm just lazy lolol
Same. I dislike the texture of raw broccoli, but I love raw carrots so much
I also was confused by that. Tomato, Cucumber, bell pepper? Or are these considered fruit?
Me too! And I love raw red beets.
I remember watching your early videos when they were new. I'm not talking about you or your video when I say this: The general vibe from the raw food community was highly toxic, towards each other and... well everyone. It scared a lot of people away. I eventually did go plant-based YEARS later, but it was the raw food community that turned me and a lot of people off veganism and vegetarianism.
I'm so glad you're where you are now. It seems like you've come a long way and I'm impressed with how you are owning your past. I've shared this video with all of my followers because I feel learning from mistakes is healthy and beautiful in itself. Thank you for making this video!
I wish humans had an ideal food like grass that required no preparation and would meet all of our nutritional needs. I don't like cooking, I just want to fuel up and focus on other things. Maybe fruit is that food but the irony is it actually requires you to spend even more time thinking about what you're going to eat 😩
hb get yourself some soylent!
Emy Anderson
soylent ain't vegan
Vex Spice they changed the formula and now it's completely vegan. They get the omega three from algae now.
You could try Joylent! It's a vegan meal replacement shake!
Jake Van Ness
Good to know! Good to hear! Might order me some then, because I've always wanted to have the option to skip eating at times.
Might do my PhD on UA-camrs and their hair dysmorphia, haha. 'First of all, sorry for my hair...'
Stop with the gratuitous hair shaming!
Claire lol
It’s funny but it’s very true just about every single female UA-cam person - no matter the genre - always apologizes for their hair or says something like “oh I don’t look good today because I didn’t sleep/eat/I have a cold/etc.“ and nine times out of 10 I cannot tell a difference 🤷🏻♀️
"I mean my hair looks like shit now, let's be real" 😂
I literally cannot stop watching your videos, you have such a chill personality and ever since I saw Abbey’s video on you ive been hooked! Keep doing what you do!
i like bananas that are just straight up yellow. they minute they turn ugly is where i draw the line (i still eat them tho im no about to throw that much food away)
As soon as they (bananas) get even a few spots, they immediately go into the freezer to be turned into banana-bread.
brightsausage I think it is just self honesty. When I look at my graduation photo from law school from seven years ago, I looked ten years older than I do now and I say this frequently. I was Vegan, but ate so much cooked and junk Vegan food to nurse the stress of law school while working full time. I cringe looking at those old photos of myself and I do not think this is self hate. It is like looking at our high school hairstyles and thinking, "What was I thinking".
love these reaction vids ... great idea
Yeah I agree. UA-cam and the internet are not platforms that seem to attract much humility or admissions like "I was wrong!" It's inspiring.
You are so funny, candid and transparent. I was giggling the whole way through at your critiques.
Please keep supplying your wonderful videos!
I'm so glad you addressed the food waste issue! I feel like everyone typically just points out the easy to spot lack of nutritional backing for raw vegan but never the food waste. As far as I'm concerned it's someone's business if they want to create nutritional deficiencies for themselves but when they're using excessive resources daily that everyone needs (while plenty of it often goes bad before they even eat it) ? Ehhhh :(
I remember I dabbled in the massive amount of banana smoothies and my body couldn't handle the sugar! I used I think 5 or 6 bananas and 3 dates and a little peanut butter powder. I could feel my heart racing afterwards, it was so gross.
I love you watching your old videos! I'm on a weight loss journey while being vegan and it's so hard to know what the RIGHT diet is! So this was great info!
I ate three avocados today. Feeling great! lol
Do you still do it?
I've only had two today.lol.
I wish I could eat an avocado a day...
How can you afford it? In my county an avocado costs like 2$.
I really appreciate this video! Critiquing your old views and mistakes is so brave! I went through something similar with my diet choices after being influenced by a few people on the internet, before finally seeing the light (science). Thanks for being vulnerable and real.
"You have an eating disorder b****"....oh wait thats me Im yelling at, lol.
At first I thought you were asking your baby if they were going to pee on the carpet before you said it was the cat. LOL
NEED that granola bar recipe -do a video!
Absolutely love these kind of videos Swayze, please keep making them :)
Yeah, Ryan from HHV eats those 8 banana smoothies with just water and I have no idea how he does it. Yuck.
peaches oh no. Not commenting on the calories. Just that many bananas and just water. Ugh. Lol. I have a hard time even eating a smoothie bowl with lots of other fruit and just minimal banana. It's so strong of a taste that I just can't. :-). I know, to each their own. But when I watched a video a while and saw that, I cringed.
Becca I think he adds almond milk and coconut water
Essence C ahh, okay. That makes it a little less strong. :-)
Becca I tried freelee's version (daterade) and it was so nasty! I didn't even add sugar, but it was still way too sweet for me. Which is saying a lot because I have a major sweet tooth lmao
I watched you back in the day when I was beginning to wander down that 80/10/10 path. Thankfully I never got too into it. Keep up these reaction vids, they are gold!!
Everything about you is so endearing. The calm voice, the shirt (which by the way, where did you get your shirt?!), the cat in the background. Thank you for these videos.
I'm loving these looking back videos!!! Thank you. :)
I'm absolutely thankful I discovered you and Caitlyn Shoemaker, before I discovered HHV and RawKristina. There needs to be more people like you around, giving sound and reasonable advice.
Absolutely love it! You are so good at debunking... Every single video of yours shows all sides and you have awesome skill to show the real deal and wrap it up so everybody can understand it... I don't think I have seen this kind of video from anybody else...pretty much critising solely yourself in a good way though cause now you know better 🙂
I've had body trouble for a long time. A lot of what you say relates with me. It's nice to see someone sharing this :)
Love your videos! ps I think you're previous haircut really suited you! I tried a fringe once but I personally think they're best for thick hair xx
"Aw. I was so nice...hehe. What happen?" Lmao. Same.
Are you possibly going to have any recipe videos coming up soon? I heard soup, I'm in love with soups!
I love how you are not afraid to be critical of yourself, a lot of people would delete and hide this kind of past but I love hie honest and open you are about your change and growth
I don't even care about kale seitan while I'm watching these 😌
Try freckled but not browning bananas. They're hard to find, but they are perfect.
haha your reaction to taking about cows eating grass was freaking adorable XD
Oh my gosh your voice mocking yourself I DIED that will be me someday
Thank you so much for doing this! You can tell you were not your authentic self in the 2010 video... I love that you have evolved and are not afraid to admit that you were wrong!
Could you do a video on coconut oil and the recent claims? I was a big fan of it, but am not so sure anymore. I love how you approach these subjects so straightforward, and are able to filter out of all the crap you can come across when trying to research something on the internet. Thanks for always dropping the knowledge ;)
This is so funny. Love seeing people calling their own (previous) shit. I think your hair looked nice though, by the way. Thanks for the video.
I once watched a youtube video (from a sweets maker in the US - the sweet was banana shaped) about bananas which said that growing bananas is so difficult, that we won't have any bananas in the near future anymore. Also wild bananas (from way before) looked completely different. If that is true, how would you compensate this loss? Me am really curious!
I've been a very quiet follower but I really want to tell you that I love your videos and your philosophical thinking ❤ very admirable. also, your hair looks amazing. 😍 what hair products are you using if I may ask.
Thoughts on becoming allergic to certain food from overdoing it? I did a raw food shtick where I ate SO many carrots everyday. Now I feel ill every time I eat them.
(I don't eat all raw anymore/ no longer have an eating disorder)
I look up to you a lot. Not because you have all the answers but I trust you. You don't stick with one mind set, you evolved and learnt how to think and use logic and reason. Thanks for doing these looking back at the old you videos. It's eye opening and makes me want to question myself more.
There have been days where I wouldn't even eat another celery piece because I had already reached my caloric limit for the day
Haha, funny reaction. I ate fully raw myself for 8 months, semi low fat, before I went back to cooked food again. However, my digestion was really poor for as long as I then ate cooked food again. Now I eat raw again because that's what keeps my digestion awesome. I do eat probiotics. Did you have the same problem and how did you solve it?
I agree with the comment about the ripeness of bananas. When I followed raw til four I disliked eating the ripe bananas unless they were in a smoothie. Ripe ones are perfect for smoothies and baked goods though.
I made a giant fruit smoothie once and was totally tweaking for a few hours. It felt like I had drank ten energy drinks. First and last time I did that.
Not really a vegan topic from what I understand but do you have any opinions on the rise in use of cbd oil because I live in the south and it seems to be becoming a bit of an mlm situation and a lot of people I know are swearing by it and I kinda want an outside opinion if that makes sense seeing as from what I know there aren’t many regulations/ testing of benefits and such
It's funny how I used to see your videos and scoff at them because I was so caught up in and blinded by the raw till 4/fully raw bullshit. I couldn't see sense at all. Then, I ended up gaining 50 pounds, being undernourished and nutrient deficient, and nearly went literally crazy. Now, I've truly realized the error of my way and I love your videos. So rational and makes so much sense.
I’m no vegan but I’ve been eating Kale since the late 90’s and I JUST started to sauté it. Fresh garlic , EVOO, herbs etc, sauté and then drop in the kale, turn off the heat and let it soften a little before you toss. Also can toss with a little hummus dressing. BTW, why can’t raw people eat garlic? That’s a sin!
I came across your videos a couple weeks ago and I am hooked. I don’t have any plant based friends and all of your videos feel like I’m sitting down with a friend and listening. I appreciate how “raw” you are ha! That was lame, but I truly enjoy your videos ☺️
love your channel so much… so real and relatable xx
pro tip if the fruit is about to go bad just freeze it and make icecream lol
Your kitty though! So cute ❤️
Hey, did you ever do a video about what you are feeding your cat with ? I’m looking for advices and I saw you have a cat so
Thoughts as I'm watching this:
I don't think the layerd hair is bad, but I do like your hair better now.
Love your cat.
Can you eat spinach or snow peas?
The granola bars still look yummy.
I probably couldn't eat more than 1 banana. Maybe in a smoothie I could eat more.
Low fat doesn't really mean much if you're doing high sugar.
My problem with knowing I'm full (i.e. not hungry anymore) is that I eat too fast. If I slow down my eating I recognize that point much easier. But, it's not easy for me to eat slowly. I still have to watch the clock to slow down my eating.
Iodized salt ftw! Why is seaweed discouraged?
I don't think I could live without tea. I'm a tea drinker, not a coffee drinker.
Thanks for sharing!
when you said youre cold in the 801010 or very low fat diet, were you iron deficient? or its jusr because you have a low body fat?
swayze can you please tell us where to get the shirt you're wearing here?
Did you loose your cellulite - if you had any - on a raw vegan diet? And did it come back after you quit?
I liked your hair and the accent :) I love your channel because you also subject yourself to criticism
I love bananas just before they are fully ripe; still slightly green. Uuuggh so delicious 🍌 🍌🍌
srfjesusppl nooooo i feel passionately that any level of green on a banana is the work of the devil 😂
green bananas forever
Where did you get that wall mounted white rack with the bananas in it? :o
Hi Swayze ( +Unnatural Vegan ),
I have a question on the sciece and ethics of different diets that I was recently wondering about, and I'm curious, if you have any opinion and/or data on that:
Shifting from a mixed diet to a plant based diet, you need to look into food items, that maybe aren't as readily available or that maybe don't grow regionally and are imported, right (f.e. cashews, to meet zinc needs and fats and stuff)?. I was wondering (again I do't have any data), if adopting a balanced vegan diet, like tthe one that you advocate for, in some areas means reducing animal suffering, but maybe increasing human suffering at the same time, mediated through the products you choose, and how and where they are produced?
Sticking with the example of cashews (it might not be the best example, but follow me here just to understand my question):
Maybe you were eating a flexitarian diet before, lots of vegetarian and vegan meals a week, some meat, some dairy, both coming, say, from an eco- or bio-label that reduces animal suffering in the raising and slaughter of the animals. Then you're switching to vegan and in order to not run into deficiency you eat lots of cashews (and say lots of other people do to, you alone doing this certainly wouldn't makethat much of a difference). Now, as far as I remember, cashews aren't produced in the most humane ways. I think they are often produced in developping world countries, their shells are highy acidic, handling them is a health threat and yet in most places no effective protection is in place for the workers (mostly women , who open the shells with bare hands). Not to talk about other working conditions such as long hours, minimal pay to make the product "affordable", etc..
I think you know hat I am getting at: What if eating more animal friendly in many instances under current realistic circumstances means producing more human suffering? That's a question I rarely hear addressed by ethical vegans and I wonder if it could be called ethical then? I wouldn't see much ethics in prioritizing the reduction of suffering for other species while simultaneously contributing to greater suffering in one's own species. And maybe there would be ways to have a flexitarian diet, that reduces animal products a great deal, reduces animal suffering a lot (especially if adopted by the majority of people), but doesn't make people resort to foodproducts that possibly increase human suffering.
This is just an idea or a theory that crossed my mind and I haven't made up my mind about it yet. It's something I thought should be concidered. I was wondering, if you have ever thought about that aspect? Do you have any info or data or reports about that? It would be great, if you could make a video about it. Thanks.
I love this video and I love how much you've grown. I think you needed to be in that place in order to grow into who you are now.
"That's a lot of grass for humans, but not for cows!" -If Herodotus became a dietitian
Is food combining bull crap or necessary? I experience major bloating when I combine foods (vegan) bad. Such as Ezekiel bread w dates or peanut butter w apples. Can u do a vid on that? ALSO I'm so confused abt salt. Many plant based Drs are very against it. Including my favorite dr, Dr Gregor. Can u try and do a vid on that too? Thanks so much for sharing ur knowledge!!
I relate so much to the cringe you feel it’s so funny how you can be convinced with something in the past soooo much when it absolutely makes no fucking sense and then realize how stupid was I? been there done that but facing yourself like that it was awesome i have so much respect for you❤️
Is that cartenoid coloration from the high-fruit diet? Which would go to show health is more complex than just a few health-markers.
By reacting to your old videos, you show your audience the maturity and wisdom you have gained from life experience (which also gives you credibility). A lot of people may reflect on their errors in life. But rarely would they admit them in a public forum to educate and benefit others, while allowing the comments to remain enabled subjecting themselves to potential ridicule. This takes humility and courage, and I hope people appreciate these videos and can learn from them. Thank you.
I have a question, you were extremely cold because you weren't eating enough fat and protein ?? I'm vegan and I don't eat a lot of fat or protein and I am always cold so I'm asking
