Yeah sadly they quit attempting to make really good movies some time ago and good movies are like a rare flower to be enjoyed. And they probably NEVER tried to make good video game movies. Maybe if the studio had been told it was just an original sci-fi idea instead of a game tie in we could have gotten something like this in the 90s. It makes me fucking sad that movie companies don't even try with video game movies because the plots of video games would make for some of the best movies ever. Especially if they were making action movies about action games, like Quake.
@@KillerKrieg imagine something like Saving pvt Ryan and Starship troopers. But a quake 2 version. It could work. But Hollywood lacks vision these days, and only focuses on pronouns and calling viewers toxic.
The guards at 0:42 look more like Zombiemen from Doom, and Bitterman looks more like a mixture of BJ and Doomguy. The rest of it looks sweet, quite a few enemies are instantly recognisable. The black-metal-esque Iron Maiden looks awesome.
I'm blown away by this! Those all look incredible, the set designs everything it all fits perfectly but those female strogg are absolutely terrifying! These serve as amazing concepts for movies honestly. A quake 2 movie lookijg like this would be an instant classic

Anyone who suggests that AI art isn't legitimate is a fool. These are the same kinds of criticisms that were levelled against digital art when it first became available. AI is a new medium for producing art, and it's completely legitimate. It has a distinct feel and requires unique skillsets to utilize effectively. Doopiidoo is currently my favorite artist, and the uncanny, surrealist nature of his art makes AI the perfect medium for it. I don't know that his output could be generated effectively with any other toolset.
well, Q1 really deservess a "remake" or a continuing. Full speed strogg fragging and strafing with rl jumping everywhere, the same pace or faster then doom eternal!!!! it is a so iconical and world changing game, that it needs a remake! ( i cant see what im writing)...
