Mostly flipflops and slides 🩴🩴🌊🏖️⛱️🐚 🥵my personal favorites I'm using since 3 years ago are the Birkenstocks Kyoto. Bought them at 40% discount and they are resistat and the most comfy ones because you can adjust the velcro as you want.
I got myself a pair of Solovair Gibsons for work a few months ago, they're lovely! Agree with you on All Saints, I can never understand why they're so expensive!
I don't really wear any shoes that aren't ultra wide/foot shape but I still like watching to learn about new items or get fashion Inspo. I can see myself getting the Arizona for beach days or gym sandal.
Note related to sizing - with Goodyear welted or Blake stitched shoes you’ll always need to go down 1/2 to 1 size compared to your regular sneaker size, depending on the last shape. Cheaper stuff has the sole glued on (easy to spot) and usually runs TTS.
I have an irrational aversion against shoes without laces, so I will never spend money on mules or loafers. I prefer to wear simple canvas sneakers during summer.
I wear orthotics and can only wear them in shoes with laces, otherwise they'll hurt the top of my foot too much, they just don't stretch out enough at the top.
Perfect timing as I was shopping the websites for another pair of mules. I currently have the Birkenstock Naples in black oiled leather (which I love), considering adding a pair of the taupe suede or the Boston perforated suede. But then the Clark’s Wallabee Cup Lo or Desert Nomad are right up there too. Can’t decide!
This is a great list! I will say despite their history, I was very underwhelmed with the quality of the leather on the pair of GH Bass loafers I bought for last summer. They were on final sale though so maybe it was the model, not sure.
The Lemaire shoes are stunning! I love the slippers on men!!!! I have the flat lemaire souris in white and beige.. So different and cool. The only downside is, I keep looking at my shoes, so that’s dangerous outside 😂🫨
People ahould definitely check out summer/spring shoes from the South Korean brand Cueren. They are made in Korea; possess a high quality and are comfortable also. Their london loafers are so soft and have a really elegant design. There's also quite a few slip on options too if you are looking for something lighter. Check them out!
I would also add to your list penny loafers from Church's. This is a great option, if you have extra money. They're currently really popular among fashion influencers
Bought a pair of Doc martens Ishams last December and its my casual wear staple. Its a little heavy for a mule but you get used to it plus it has a sturdy build and will last longer than other mules in the market. It also goes well with my jeans, chinos and linen trousers. Have yet to use them with shorts though.
The weather being all over the place is so true for us Euros right now. Yesterday peaked at 21c sunny as hell, in the night it was like 5c. Today its 9c and rainy.
Hey Harry, I don’t know if you aver heard of these shoes/slip-ons, in Italy we call them “friulane”. You can easily find them here in local stores for around 50€ and they’re made of suede leather but very thin one. Maybe they’re too dressy for your style but I think they give an interesting look with wider linen pants on summer nights
Another great video and yes I love Zara's mens sandals and if I was flushed with cash maybe then I could select the Gucci Horsebit-Detailed Leather-Trimmed Sandals...I'm just saying....
Here is my opinion nobody asked for. Loafers in general are classy shoes, however, Dr. Martens's uppers look like made from poor quality plastic or rubber and I would go for quality loafers instead. Solovair Gibson shoes are excellent, but suitable rather for spring or autumn. I've been enjoying a pair of those for 2 years now and I highly recommend them. They have exceeded all my expectations by a lot. Mules are a joke, don't wear them, the least classy shoe that I can think of. Arizonas are great house shoes, but nothing more. Don't try to make them a fashion item because they are just house shoes. Keep up the good work Harry and SEE YA LATER! ;)
My natural leather brown Bostons grab eyeballs everywhere i go. They have a presence to them. Other mules are not as striking. Thanks for the review on Dr martens. I was planning to get their shoes.
I don't like dr marten or solovair but you certainly don't know what fashion means are? If you say Boston are just a house shoe then someone will say prada boots just a boots? Lv bag is just a bag? 😂
It makes me "Violently Ill" like Harry said just looking for at those overpriced and uncomfortable shoes. Just buy 100% leather loafers from italian our portuguese companies for half the price and much better quality than the shitty drs or the other overpriced ones.
They’re all much of a muchness - orthopaedic looking shoes. None look summery to me. However I do like the Solovir Derby’s for autumn or winter. They’re made in England which is a big plus for me.
About the loafers from Dr. Martens, is very much worth to invest into the version "Made in England", will save you the pain and stress of breaking into it. Mine fits insanely good since the beginning.
I have the Adrian loafers in cherry red ❤ and black weejuns (stylish shoe but not comfortable) plus the Clark’s 8th street Sandford Kith and just recently copped the Action Bronson rosewater NB. I’ve been eyeing up the clot gazelles with the esperilla midsoles, and the size? Collab Green/yellow Gazelles with black stripe and gum bottom.
I gotta say, Harry, I love the Subu brown mules. Sure, they are more like slippers, and might not be the best for summer, but I think without socks they might work, hahaha. And you already have the black ones.
Back in the day, all my friends were wearing Doc Martens and I finally bought a pair even though I really couldn’t afford them at the time, but they were the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever owned, so I’ve never been willing to go for Doc Martens again. Clark’s are good though.
Which baskets, trainers, sneakers however you call them ? I feel like addidas spezial and samba are already too popular. Asics mexico ? You talked about them 2 years ago i'm sure.
May i ask, how is the sizing? I wanted to cop one…i wear nike us10…so normally in eu sizing it would be eu43…so for pull & bear, should i go for 43 too?
I tried the dr martens mules on in store and they are extremely comfy, way more than the birks. Im about to pull the trigger on them but my concern is if I will wear them enough
I really don't get it. Do all fashion influencers live in places where summer doesn't go above 20ºC? Like any place that has proper summer weather you'd be sweating your skin off of your feet even in those closed off SUADE mules. Not to mention solid black leather shoes.
I was just thinking about buying some loafers and the suede Weejuns Larson Penny Loafers from GH Bass definately look the best imo. But they are slightly more expensive then Dr. Martens and Clerks, and i don't know anything about their quality yet, so imma have to do my research on them. Might update this later, if I do end up buying em.
I don’t know about the suede ones, but I bought a pair of the leather Larsens with the lug sole recently, and I’m pleased with them. I got the lug sole because it’s less slippery, but I was pleased to learn that they are also lighter weight. The quality is pretty good for the price, I think. They are pretty stiff at first, though, so I don’t recommend going sockless until they’re broken in. Oh, and be sure to read all their sizing advice; you might need a slightly smaller size than your usual.
Nice vid Harry! Arket has some good looking Slip-On leather shoes similar to the Row ones, and everything is 20% off today. My favourites are the Lemaire Piped Loafers with the crepe sole. Super clean! Paraboot has some nice shoes and loafers too.
Genuinely want to know if you are talking like that on purpose? Like dragging the last syllable in almost every word (ex: "Designnnnn", "somethiiiing", "they are actiually very versatiiiile". Great suggestions in the video though 👍
Cool vid. I really like the style of a penny loafer like the grant stone traveler and I even like their dune color. Anyone know of something very similar that isn’t $400??
How about a video about bags for men, summer wear does not allow a lot of pockets for phone, wallet, keys etc. So i am always looking for something light.
@@HarryHas I see. I live in Asia where humidity is pretty high. So as comfortable as Birkenstocks’ the leather footbeds are, they can get mouldy quickly in raining reason. That’s why I switched to EVA foam versions which frankly don’t look as good and aren’t as comfortable, but they don’t get mouldy and can be cleaned and dried easily. I assume there’d be a similar issue in the UK based on my impression of British weather…

What a weird thing to say lmao

You are not alone. I find them aesthetically repulsive. Same goes for chelsea boots. Yuk!
Nothing irrational about it. Loafers are ugly af!
Rude af. We all like different things!

A lot of the slipper shoes feel like the designers all bumped into each other down the spice bazaar in Istanbul

Clark’s Mule’s are fantastic. I personally recommend them over the Doc’s. Much more comfortable and they just break in wonderfully.
I have 2 pairs of Solovair Gibsons, one in shiny red and the other in greasy brown. I adore them.
Birkenstock Boston suede is the best choice 😎, at least here in Copenhagen. The average temperature during summer is 22 degrees.
just curious I guess you don’t need any air conditioning?

MORJAS has some incredible belgian loafers that i love.
definitely eyeing the Lemaire Slippers but I think this summer will be the time for my Our Legacy mules to shine 👌🏽
I suggest you go with suede material on the mules for its less formality..... Some cheap hnm, zara, pull & bear will do..
...until they don't, 4 months from now.
Don't buy shoes from fast fashion stores. No matter how cheap they are, they are not worth it.
Birkenstock is definitely always my 1st to pick up, if you know, you know

Awesome. thanks. I am looking into some mules
I think the new Croc Dylan's would be a winner
These shoes are for the summer... in the UK. We can't wear half of the list here in Spain, they'll burn your feet
Birk bostons are legitimately the most comfortable shoe I have and they go with everything.
with how scorching the weather is rn in Southeast Asia, mules are a good send in breathability and keeping the sun from giving my toes skin cancer lol
I gotta say, Harry, I love the Subu brown mules. Sure, they are more like slippers, and might not be the best for summer, but I think without socks they might work, hahaha. And you already have the black ones.
