If he plays we might hear that the guitar sounds VERY LITTLE like a real vintage junior. And his hipster hat might fall off. At some point close like that simply looking genuine in more like a costume than anything that you can wear in real life unless you were putting on a persona

dan peabody alright buddy. You have no right to say that about that man. He is a tride and true musician and a better player than you’d believe. And it’s him playing in the background. It sounds like it should

@@TheVirginianRambler glad to hear it. The hat is a silly prop. Having played a vintage jr. And tried a modern reissue ( admittedly not his signature model) but in my experience while the reissue was fine. There was no comparison. Kind of like comparing my 2016 custom shop R9 with a good original 59 les paul. Not even in the same ballpark. He's a Nelson he should be able to play guitar if he has interest in it. It's the family business right?

A while back I bought a new Classic for my dad. When I received it, a knob was broken. Good ol Gibson themselves came through for me in the end and sent me a replacement one once they were able to with the pandemic. I don't have much to offer. Not the smartest out of the bunch, really sort of the black sheep of the family. But the one thing I can do, is music. It's because of my dad. We always aspired to own Gibsons someday. I'm glad I was able to give back to him the gift of music, just as he once gave to me. I own a 2019 Standard, 2020 Slash Anaconda signature and now my dad owns a 2020 Classic. Only a Gibson is good enough.

Couple things here. Lukas is one of the most humble, sweetest guys in music, period. Super talented and versatile. The bridge is compensated so it will intonate. And do you reeeeaaaallly need to hear it? It's a LP Junior with a P90. You've heard it a million times. The speed knobs are period correct, as are the tuners. The guitar isn't worth 1599 and you once made a guitar out of a frisbee and a PU out of a plastic guitar from Wallmart and it sounded better? No you didn't, and no it doesn't. And lastly, nobody is making you buy anything. Don't like it, move along. This ain't no government mandate.

I don't know if he's necessarily qualified after I searched a couple of his videos to have his own guitar outside of his family name I mean no disrespect but I think the only thing I took away from this is the bridge possibly being better than it was on the original unless they are utilizing the thing that Tom bukovac help create? @@EricCraigMusic Not individually. You can move the tailpiece itself on 2 pivot points, but it will affect the intonation on more than 1 string. Even PRS changed their approach to wraparounds, it's just crazy to assume people will only use Standardtuning and a specific string set.
