That 4 day old baby is so cute And I love how Rachel tries to soothe her by rubbing her back after she is placing her baby on her stomach. What a very informative video.

The Flying Tetrazzini newborns were swinging from circus trapezes at this age. But that was just a cartoon. I'm guessing that real kids are different.

This is an exercise in frustrating babies. Babies neck and shoulder muscles strengthen naturally when they are ready, and this allows them to start to crawl. Who dreamt up this rubbish of making babies do this so early, Next there will be pre walking exercises. Mothers have enough to do. Ever seen anybody walking around with their head hanging forward due to poor neck muscles.

Not to sound rude! but if you look at the expression on that child's face? it's the same expression, I would have? like what is the purpose of tummy time? you feed these kids the nutrients they deserve and need!and let their bodys develope! the way it's supposed to! and they wouldn't have to go through such a negative time in their life!

Totally unnecessary. Babies develop muscle strength on their own, the way nature intended for them! This trend is not that different from 'teaching' babies to crawl, how to sit up, how to walk and other 'how-to' practices well-meaning parents get carried away and put their newborns through misery in the name of tummy time!

Tummy time doesn't work if the kid isn't left on it's tummy. Mommy is way too protective. Let the kid learn. This kid will never do it on it's own.

Infants are much more flexible and agile than most people think - Not nearly as fragile.
