38 years ago when I had my first child all children always were sleeping on their tummy’s by that time it was so dangerous to let the kids sleep on their back’s because of sudden death, why shouldn’t newborns have a need for tummy time? How could you know? Do you remember for your time as a newborn?
@@tettivestberg2989 Because they are miserable during TT. Not all babies have TT, but they develop muscle strength on their own. And no baby is going to be laying on their backs forever unless there is a health issue. Way back when babies slept on their tummies, their heads would rest on the mattress, which is different from TT.
