Just turned 30 and we just found out my wife is pregnant. I find all these informational videos so helpful. I want to soak up all the knowledge I can about pregnancy and after birth I can. Hoping I can be of as much help to my beautiful new family. I’ve went from watching vehicle mod videos to tummy time videos. I can proudly say I feel 100% complete and accomplished in life!! Daddy loves you little one!
Brand new dad of an 8 days old healthy baby girl Stella. Tummy time just came naturally to me: the first time I held my baby at the hospital, I sat in a recliner and put her on my chest, I looked her in the eyes as she tried to lift her head up and my heart just melted. It is truly a blessing and a privilege to be this precious little girl's dad.
@Telugu Girl With Borderline Personality Disorder ITS AMAZING:) my daughter is 15 months now. Was walking by 8 months, trying to talk now.. I can’t imagine where I’d be without all these types of videos :) thanks so much for asking seriously, it’s been such a crazy journey!
Pediatric OT here! This video is so great and gives such simple and doable information! One thing I would add is that *ideally* tummy time should be done on a flat, hard surface, so working up to doing more time on the floor is preferred over using a boppy or rolled up blanket, but those supports are such a great way to get started if your child has a hard time on the floor at first. Thanks so much for sharing this info Nekole! ❤️
My baby been doing tummy time since week 1. She’s 2 months now and can keep it up for 3 minutes using your methods. She’s able to support her head now without my hand supporting her head when I hold her up. Thank you!
Being a new dad at 46” tummy time is awesome it really helps my daughter adjust and also makes her sleep well.she also loves laying across my forearm tummy down.
I had no idea that tummy time could be this beneficial and an actual thing. I’ve heard of tummy time referenced so much without anyone explaining what it is but I assumed it was just random time on the baby’s tummy. So glad this video came up on my home dashboard before becoming a daddy in 3.5 months. Thank you!
Wow i like how fluently and clear you are speaking , as a person that my English is not so good i can understand what are you saying and plus really good tips 👍
My baby initiated it himself when he was 14 days old, and he does it all on his own when we lay him on our chests skin-to-skin. We lay him on our chests a lot, especially because Laid-back nursing is my favorite. He does it for however long he wants to and starts and ends it himself. We're blessed that he doesn't find it frustrating and initiates it himself multiple times a day.
Just got home from my C section surgery and would love to start tummy time my healthy newborn. Thanks I encountered this video. It helps me a lot. Reclining on a chair might be the best option for me as it would be easier for me, who is a single mom, who is still trying to recover from surgery while bonding with my newborn. Good for both moms and newborns out there
@@HannahAjay2013 hey ,my wife went through c section..my pediatrician mentioned to do tummy time at 3 months..what did your pediatrician say? is it too early to do it

I just naturally popped at almost 42 weeks with a 9lb baby boy! So excited to get to do everything all over again with baby #2! Glad I have your videos as a resource this time around! Best wishes to you and your growing family!
My son did tummy time the second he was born. They placed him on my chest, and *he lifted his head, looked side to side, and went back down*. He was a 35 week preemie.
Congratulations bro, I am working on the 2nd that I know of a baby girl and my son who is 8 it's a beautiful thing parenthood teaches you alot about yourself just stay patient
I hold my baby on his tummy on my chest a lot during the day, but didn't know I should be actually starting tummy time already, he'll be 4wks in a couple days 🤦🏻♀️ I already feel like I'm failing as a mother 😭 I will start tomorrow, he was a premature baby and he's been a very sleepy baby, so awake and alert times have been rare. He's started being awake more now and so I cannot wait to get him started. And thanks to you I'll be looking up how to make sure I'm doing all the developmental things in the future. Thank you
Hey! My baby is a month old and a premi as well! I had a doctor tell me since shes so small that laying her on my chest works as tummy time till she gets more awake and stronger so youre doing good in my book mamas 💞 being a mom is a roller coaster
I found out that amount of food can have to do with babies being too sleepy, they could be dehydrated... That's what one of our pediatric doctors said at the hospital about our baby. Also Ive done some tummy time but only on my chest so far, she's a month old too...
The baby in the thumbnail looks almost exactly as my son when he was a baby 😭😭 I miss those months. That’s literally why I’m watching 😭😭 good luck with everything and thank you for sharing good tips to help babies develop! 💜
ThIs information and showing how to properly do tummy time is really helpful. I’m a first time mom and I want to make sure that she stays safe during tummy time.
Hi there. Your video's is awesome!!! As a PT and father to a One Week newborn, tummy time is going to be part of his Sensoriomotor development. Best regard's
