    Your 2hhs is the best I've seen on youtube.
    I'd like a softer quieter music though 😅

    Definitely the best video on how to One arm Handstand I am on the final steps but I struggle with my hips rotating a bit When I go on the right arm whenever I am not close to the wall.

    • @CoachBachmann
      @CoachBachmann  7 місяців тому +1

      practice more close to the wall. Try to get your rep count and movement amplitude up. It will help!

    Great video! I will be practicing some of those drills. If you plan to make another video on one-arm hand stands could you talk about the changes it mechanics of rebalancing? For example, on two arms you reposition the shoulders to be under center of mass, but in one-arm I heard that you actually use reposition your elbow with slight arm wiggles. It can require intentionally hyper-extending the joint. This is more effective than trying to recover using only the shoulder muscles.

    • @CoachBachmann
      @CoachBachmann  7 місяців тому

      Hey man, this is not quite correct. Ideally, you try to keep your elbow fully locked. All corrections should come out of the wrists. Just like on 2 arms if your weight drops into the back of your hand/chest side your elbow will bend to catch your balance. The goal once one can kind of hold a OAHS is not to bend the elbow at all when balancing. Trying to balance with the elbow joint will leave you shaking a lot in your handstand and will especially open your up to injuries as no matter how you train your elbow join will for even be too weak to efficiently balance you over a longer period of time (trust me, I'd know)

    Hello coach, my problem is that I go to one side when I transfer the weight of my body to one arm:(

    Amazing video, gretat tips, love it. I personally think, that without the music your quality would be 10/10 and I could have watched the video couple more times :D But with this horrible music I just cannot :(

    Hey coach, i am at step 5 but i kept falling to the side when i take off my hand, what is the best way to compensate side balance ? Btw, very helpful video, because of you i am now at step 5 😊

    • @CoachBachmann
      @CoachBachmann  7 місяців тому

      Honestly, hard to say like this considering I am not even sure which side you mean ;) Sounds a bit to me like you are not pushing tall enough with your shoulder and that you might be sinking in a bit! Could also be that you are taking your hand off too quickly!

      I honestly have not mat anyone who can do clean one arm handstand push ups. There are some variations and a few that I can do but not strict

      @CoachBachmann neither have I. Seen a fighting game character do it before the fight starts and always thought it looked sick as fuck.
      Yashiro Nanakase, the king of fighters 97. Pre fight intro.
      I think you'd need huge ass hands as well as all the other requirements to even try something like it, though. The balance and power needed are almost impossible, I presume.

    does the elbow plays a role in One arm handstand ? like i saw handbalancer using their elbows to balance or something like that !!

    • @CoachBachmann
      @CoachBachmann  7 місяців тому +1

      Yeah. That is actually a good point. In an ideal world the elbow stays locked at all times. Every time the weight drops in the direction of the stomach/chest side of your body your elbow bends trying to catch your balance/weight. Since you don’t have fingers on this side you cannot push back and your elbow is your own chance for rescue.
      So in an ideal world you would not use your elbow for balance. In reality you don’t have a choice. Just looking through this video I am sure you can spot me making mistakes and bending the elbow to safe myself a couple times

    How do you deal with your stiff wrists, coach? I know you've mentioned having super stiff wrists as well and I've noticed that my right arm won't allow me to put the weight in the same spot as my left which is slowing down the progress on one side and making me rotate more. I do planche work, presses etc. so it's all taxing on my wrists but it's still doable, one arm handstand applies so much pressure though it feels like my wrists don't even fully recover from it.

      are scaps fully elevated, sometimes when they aren't the weakness in shoulder shows up in the wrists.

      @@pierobattelli I noticed this too on my right hand one arm journey as well, crushing pain on the wrist and it’s a lot to do with just the more weight exposing the weakness of shoulder even if two arm is very strong and healthy.
