I’m Douglas intake right now we go to CBT tomorrow wish me luck it’s going to be very cold also thank you so much as you made my journey into the RAF a lot easier with the knowledge and advice you have given from the start of my application to me being near the end of phase 1
@@tygotskill2698 wow that’s defo going to be an interesting considering it’s -5 up here so hopefully it won’t be as cold for you. Good luck with it, defo prepare for the morning routine it might catch you off guard so just be a little aware. Thank you and I’m glad to hear they have helped. Let us know how Blue warrior goes.

Great video mate 👍 I'm trying to study for my DAA its in 3 weeks time and I'm really stressing and worrying about not being that academic.. iv done a load of practice tests and I'm not doing very well. I'm really excited and worried at the same time because I don't think I'm gonna make the grade. I know that once I got a foot in the door I could be a great asset but I don't think I'm gonna pass. School wasn't a strong point 20 years ago.
for the DAA it depends what role you want to apply as for some roles like engineering they'll look to see if you mechanical and mathematical reasoning is any good. Based on your results they will tell you what you are eligible to apply for. So lets say you didn't make the cut for the one you really wanted to do they will talk with you about what your options are moving forward. I'm also fairly certain that you can resit if you where close to getting what you wanted. Hope this helps.
@alfieisherwood5568 thanks mate im not really sure what I wanna do I'm not going for anything specific. I'm aware that nit having any relative academics or college/ uni degrees or what not I left school early failed most of it and went to work construction. And iv hit a point where u wanna do more and something better.
@@hybridhousesessions.7133if you haven’t already just scroll through the raf jobs list when I did I was surprised at the amount of roles they offer there really is something for everyone there maybe get an idea of a couple of roles your interested in gives you something to work towards I find it helps keep the anxiety away.
@@hybridhousesessions.7133 thank you 🙂well I don’t know what it’s like to be 20 years out of school but being almost 10 for me was a big weak spot, all I can say is just revise as much as possible and try your best it’s all you can do. No matter the outcome if you genuinely feel like you studied to the best of your ability you’ll feel better about yourself. When I didn’t get the role I wanted both times, the first time I felt bad but the second time I felt fine as I knew I did the best I could. Just read the questions and give your all, you’ll be fine. Good luck with it and hope it goes well.
is it just me or is the application so long. i applied in july. its january now and i’ve got a sct today. but its abit annoying as im 17 and boring being in the house. as its hard to find jobs and i thought id be in by september
How much are things rushed in basic as in how tight is the time with everything? Like do you have any free time or are you rushing through tasks all the time

The first 2 weeks are hellish I was getting 4 hours tops a night. But it chills out quite nicely. Don’t stress it. What dates have you all got ?
@jinjey205 I respect the honesty. Any tips on getting more sleep than that
