“All 4 runs came with key injuries”…
And all 4 years they haven’t won since their first one came with key injuries. Every year injuries happen, this is how you essentially forfeit an argument.
Just as easy to say factually “When healthy Warriors have won every finals since 2014-15 season” and then jump to the extreme conclusions like “they coulda had 8 if not for injuries, and Bron woulda never won with Cleveland in 2016, and Kawhi woulda lost in 2019, and maybe KD never leaves and has 6 rings in a row”. Mindless exercise in futility.

No he didn't. First: Kareem was giving Magic 16/6 in '87 and '88. Those aren't Kareem numbers and just because he was still on the roster doesn't mean that he was actually still him.
Second: he is acting like Klay in 2016 wasn't all that. The guy was 12th in scoring in the regular season, 7th in the postseason (excluding players that only played one series) and was giving only 1 less point than Steph.
Kevin Love was a 14/9 player on 39% from the field in that 2016 playoffs. Is that a franchise player? The guy that averaged 15/10 on 40 FG% in his playoff career? No he wasn't, come on now.

I agree with him. He had points and his points were valid. There’s a legit argument there. I’ve been saying that if GS would’ve lost in 2015 if the Cavs were healthy, why did the series go down 3-1 when they ran it back with a healthy team. Why did the series go down 3 to 1 when they were both healthy? That tells me even if the Cavs were healthy, at minimum they’re going to a game 7. When they added KD, it was considered unfair because Stephen Curry was still on that team. It was because of how Great of a Player KD was and then how great of a player Stephen Curry was. If your really believe “Strength in Numbers” was the reason they won, Remove Steph and have Damian Lillard or another great shooting Point Guard at the time switch places with Steph. The Value Steph adds to GS is like none other. That’s why I believe that if GS is healthy any Year since 2015 and everyone plays with no suspensions, they win up till now. Which would give Steph I think 7 rings. Say what you want, but a healthy GS where everyone plays, has never seen a Game 7.
(Please don’t add shit to my comment that I didn’t say, only use what I said to rebuttal to against me.)
Also I do think they need to bring him back if he’s going to continue to make sense, the moment he says something so outta pocket and thoroughly believes it with any solid reasoning, he’s just a casual delusional fan. Shoutout to him though for actually making sense

@@hardwoodthought1213 let’s do it like this then since no one seems to understand. LeBron James is considered to be the best player of the last decade and of all time by many. He won his first title in 12, that’s 10 years ago for sure, so in ten years, Steph matches his 4 while being in the league less years, and beats him 3/4 times they met in the finals.
In 15, he’s considered to be the best, me personally I feel he should have beaten the Warriors because he’s the best player on the court but it didn’t happen. He was up 2-1 without Kyrie but then the Warriors proceeded to do with they do, and Steph was the leading scorer of that team. I’m aware Iggy, got the nod bogus nod as MVP.
16, Warriors was up 3-1 and lost. If we want to use the injury issue we have to call it both ways. Bogut was a key injury, Steph played through injury, and other contributors got injured towards the end of that series as well as the Green suspension for 1 game. Cavs made history and respect to em.
17,18 once again I felt, Bron was the best player even with KD on the team but having Steph Curry on the squad with you free’s your up no matter what. Klay Thompson helps too but more Steph. It’s a reason KD went to play with Steph after he did what he did to them the series before the finals. They averaged 30 together respectfully while playing together. Ain't no one in top 5 let alone top 7 that don't have any defensive accolades.

The criteria he’s arguing is valid. The reason he’s wrong is because LeBron is simply better than Curry in every aspect of the game except 3 point shooting🤣 but if ranking players was based solely on the criteria being discussed, he would be correct
