Kobe was not carried by Shaq. 2000 he led the comeback vs Portland and handily outplayed Shaq in gm 7. He took over in overtime in gm 2 of the finals with Shaq disqualified. 2001 he avg . 5 pts less than Shaq in the playoffs and dominated the Spurs during their sweep. '02 he avg 29 ppg in the playoffs. He also finished ahead of Shaq iin regular season mvp voting in two of the three title runs. That's not being carried by any stretch of the imagination.
You will find people who love Le Bron will continually discredit Kobe’s playoffs with Shaq to help Lebrons argument. They can’t accept Kobe is a better player than Le Bron.

Stephen Curry, Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant are the only players to have won multiple rings without a top 75 teammate. granted I think Gasol, Parker/Manu or Klay/Green are arguable for top 75 but regardless those rings won are still very impressive, even tho Duncan’s 03 ring was won w/o a all-star caliber teammate

Wilt Chamberlain is so disrespected. I had to adjust my top 10 when I went back and watched remastered footage of him. He would totally dominate in any era. He had a well rounded offensive game including a fadeaway jumpshot at 7'2 275-285 lbs. He was a beast on the boards and defensively. They didn't start tracking All defense teams until 69 so it doesn't reflect on his resume. Definitely top 10.
Wilt the only person to block the sky hook. I think Kareem became overrated within this media age because people argued that his accolades made him the greatest center. Before that when I was a kid, everyone said wilt. He was out of his prime and gave Kareem problems.
Kareem also dominated the 70s an era that add half of its talent in the aba. Kareem even had an mvp on a team with a 40-42 record. I believe they didn’t even make the playoffs. Everybody knew that dr j was a better player than Kareem but he was in the aba. Kareem isn’t getting 6 mvps with dr j in the same league as him and I haven’t even got to Moses Malone and George gervin.
Kareem success always came with an elite guard unlike someone like Hakeem. Oscar and magic got Kareem those titles.

He took his team from the worst defense in the league to the best over night. In his recorded games he averaged 8 blocks a game (not officially recorded but from film n newspaper accounts). His winning also speaks for itself. Putting up 30 points and 40 rebounds in game 7 finals is nice too.

The offence he contributes to your team is worth it. That’s why he is always leading the league in net rating. His team literally averages 82 ppg without him
