  • Pickles and Steelhead have a lot more in common than you may originally think. They both undergo such an amazing transformation that we have designated them their own special names. Pickles are actually a Cucumber and Steelhead are a Rainbow Trout. Isn't that silly?
This hilarious new film by Captain Quinn will take you on a fly fishing journey of a life time. It will make you laugh, maybe even make you cry and probably inspire your next great adventure.
I hope you enjoy, like, comment and share :)

My 9 yr. old grandson, loved this. I showed him the part all serious about the magic of nature, he loves it too, and then you threw in the pickle being magical and he lost his shit. It was so cute. Love the message, love the humor. You reach all ages and speak to us all. He and I, find, forage, and replant traditional medicines.

Thank you for this video...I live in Chicago and have lake Michigan as my back yard. I have a searay on this inland sea and I'm still learning this nauticle thing and then there is this fishing thing. Last spring per some boat neighbors advise said to troll with these thin fins in the spring. So I bring out 40 year old retired fishing poles from my grandparents collection I still have as a keepsakes, and so me and my 9 year old daughter did just that and caught coho. So here I am today wanting more and discovering steelhead and kings which run in our tributaries and although I can't explain it, you're video does just that. A day off and a cup of coffee and good friends etc. World off and FISH ON!!! I am just a beginner and can't afford simms waders or the finest rods or a trip to Canada to fish, but we get by with frogtoggs and a rod and reel combo on sale at cabelas...I will use your information and pass it on to my children and respect these fish and perhaps someday may they bring out my retired 40 year old fishing gear. maybe one day our paths will cross. TIGHT LINES CAPT QUINN!!!

Beautifully Done! Soon it will be January and I will again fish for Steelhead in the Smith River in Northern California. A wild river with no dams in a temperate rainforest not unlike what you experience except the float trip is through the most beautiful forest on earth. Fish or not, a day on a wild river in the Redwoods will restore your soul like a day in church. I understand.

I realised my kids are growning up way too fast and I'm too tired and stressed to enjoy life so ya, I think I'm gonna get out fishing more, time for some healing. Thanks so muck for this film, had a good laugh, got inspired and maybe even a little misty eyed

Cap you are an inspiration man, living in North Central WA we have so many fish to chase after but with steelhead looming in the balance in our waters it brings me hope to know there are some fisherman out there not in it for "glory" or "recognition", but for the adventure, start to release and all the stories and emotions in between! In it for the fish, I love filming and always pick up tips from your films. And more important i gain a greater appreciation for the environment that fly fishing draws me to. Envelope yourself in the outdoors, and you can truly find tranquility and find yourself. Can't wait to get out and get lost on the river! Tight lines from a avid follower, and fellow fly fisherman!

Boy am I glad I stumbled onto this video. Really touching. Touching for anyone, and possibly even more so for me as a fellow avid fly fishermen. I live in Pennsylvania where the Steelhead fishing is extremely pressured and Salmon practically don't exist in the state's water but I always take time to go up to my Camp and trout fish at my favorite river which keeps the brook trout fat and healthy, even if they aren't wild ones. This video really inspired me. Great stuff, really great stuff. The message was the absolute best part and the words you used to deliver it really spoke to me.

Going to try the Copper this time to see somewhere else I have never been. The adventure is half the fun (was the only fun last time) maybe pickles for breakfast is the key. Very inspiring video captain it was a very fitting video to begin my morning. Some fellow friends and avid anglers and I are planning on going fishing this morning for steel in 3 feet of snow. First thing I'm doing is sending this to my father who is in the hospital having knee surgery after a bad skiing accident. Hes saved thousands of fish and particularly on this river we are fishing and I'm proud to call him my dad. Glad to seen this this morning and cheers with a big cup of coffee from Vancouver Island.
