Man this reminded me of my brother and I. We spent hundreds of hours together fishing for steelhead and every catch was exciting as the first. 50 years old now and it still gets me excited like I am 13 years old again!!!! Great video boys, enjoy all the time and make more time !!!
Super jealous. I remember my first steelhead on the swing. 2005, October, on the Clearwater. Caught two fish that trip. One 8 pound fish, one fish pushing 20. So numbed to watch that fishery go downhill over the last 20 years. Congrats. Great trip. Great video.
Gave me chills Love the excitement and energy you bring to the sport. I’m blessed to have these amazing fish just a short drive away. Cheers Darren from Vancouver Island BC
One of the best fly fishing video I ever saw! Luck and dream for big steelhead with your best friend traveling in Canada - came true. Good job boys! Life is good for you! You did good! You are the best ❤️
Great job guys, it's something I too have accomplished with a good friend and will always remember and carry with me until I die! These are things that we as fishermen always dream of and few accomplish, look forward to many more years and adventures with your friend and be safe!
Great video, great fish, amazing surroundings but the best is the relationship and the camaraderie that you guys have for each other! Well done and thanks for sharing!
Great job on the video guys! One thing, you drug both fish up on the rocks to land them, not good for the fish. If you can't tail them in a couple feet of water then use a net man and save our fish. At least you kept them wet for the most part and no hero shots with them out of the water. Your excitement was palpable.
@@Odhege8262 the reel seat on a Spey Rod is 8 - 12” up from the rod butt. The portion of the Rod Vault that is large enough to accommodate the reel is much too shallow - it’s not even close.
That was awsome --- do you guys have a particular setup of water you like ... meaning ..... tailouts ? Deeper runs ..... on swing ... on strip ....... weighted flies ......larger / smaller .... or all of the above - lol
Reel sounds and looks like a bearing is going out. Has that rattle/scream. Had a fly project Montucky that corroded like crazy. Two incredible fish though.
Great video... but I can't stand the modern fishermen, "Let's go!" call of the social media fishermen. But that aside, the quality of the video was great, and it is nice to see good friends doing good things. 👍
Wow!! He took it on the strip? I was waiting for it to surprise you on the drop.
“Whatever happens from here, we did it. We did it. This is what it’s all about”
Absolutely breathtaking film boys. Proud to be a friend.
Love you boii !!
Appreciate the stoke. One suggestion: perhaps a net for all the fish next trip?
Maybe net regulations?

Great video guys. Much appreciation for you not naming any of the flows... respect.
I think Papa was there.
That was probably a sea run cutthroat. They're beautiful little bullets with shimmers of different colors when they're fresh.
Congratulations. "Go make some babies." I like it.
where did you get the rod holder

it was our home for the first night!, we ended up staying at the misty creek cabin the next four nights, highly recommend it!

Figure that's near terracelol sort of. So many good steelhead rivers in that area .runs haven't been great last few years but still good 😌
No need for a lock on your boat if you're coming to Canada.
Lol ! And where did you say you park your boat again.were not a country of saints lol
That’s all it takes is a couple hogs !!!
