I had a run in with Mencia last year at an event with the radio station I work for where we were promoting his show at a casino that day and we had him by our booth at said casino right next to the bar in the middle of the slot machines. We even had an announcement over the PA about how Carlos Mencia is at the radio booth to take photos with fans and all that but no one showed up the entire four hours we were there. The only people who’d walk up to us were fans of the radio station and grab a free prize off our table, completely ignoring Mencia. I also filmed an interview with him that event and I jokingly said after “we weren’t rolling” and Mencia looked frustrated at me saying “are you fucking serious?!” And I had to reassure I was making a joke. The promotion staff at the hotel gave us a dozen front row tickets too saying that he’s only sold 20 tickets so far at the arena he was performing at. What a fun event.

I did standup for 8 years jere in europe and a guy who started a year or two after me used my joke and apologized to me when I found out. Also, in the last year I wrote the same funny comment under some 10 videos about US politics and just the other day I saw an american comic's bit almost verbatum in his youtube clip. I dislike Joe and I really like Robin Williams for his movies more than standup. Having said that, Robin defiantly had a real bad reputation for stealing jokes. Many comedians I highly respect have said this and some have said they would not perform at a club where Robin was also performing and if he came into a club they were at, they would end their set right there or decide not to go on.

I also admire that i can trust the information i hear on it more than the garbage you hear from mainstream sources. He’s easy to hate on and people like to dismiss the good his pod actually provides. Complaining about his being rich just sounds like jealousy, who cares about that

I did standup for 8 years jere in europe and a guy who started a year or two after me used my joke and apologized to me when I found out. Other more famous comic called me an asled if he can use a parr of my joke that would complete his bit. Also, in the last year I wrote the same funny comment under some 10 videos about US politics and just the other day I saw an american comic's bit almost verbatum in his youtube clip. Sooo I get mencias point, but it can also actually be paralel thinking. But nonetheless, Carlos stole whole acts and use his power to shut down any rebelion. So in those times Joe did the right thing and mencia is just bitter that someone actually called him out.
After seeing that disastrous Netflix special, it's obvious now that Rogan was just upset that nobody ever stole one of his "jokes".
