I like brian. It's easy to get pulled into being over critical of everyone in the JRE and Podcast circuit, but Brian just seems like a normal dude to me. Normal dudes are back on the rise, after 8+ years of pop culture hate for normal bros. Brendan lost all of his life rafts. He should be grateful he rode them this far, and he hopefully pocketed the spoils wisely.

Ive been watching this stuff all day on diff channels..here, VTF, etc. I am all for holding dudes accountable over stolen valor but all this in the SF/SOCOM community? You guys were the silent, professional warriors who never breathed a note about this shit now everybody got a book, channel, or podcast to throw experiences out?? I served 20+ yrs in the Marines, conventional combat MOS, when i was young we all looked up to you warriors. I dont talk or share shit about my dark experiences, and I especially wouldnt accept pay or fame. The best damn combat award you can recieve is when another Marine/troop says they would fight with you anywhere! You cant wear that on your chest.

Purely speaking on the smile, I'm the son of a photographer. I can no longer "smile" perfectly on command without trying to make myself laugh or something. If you have to do something so much on command, you stop being able to do it naturally on command, you start overthinking it, it becomes manual, not something you just "do" - at least in my experience. People can read whatever they want into Beast, I don't know the dude, I don't follow the drama. But this specific thing, I can relate to.
