Guard and grace is my favorite restaurant ive ever been to. We went there for my birthday and did drop 600 bucks on dinner , so a lot , but it was the single best dinner experience I've ever had. So ya it was worth it.
A few more established steak houses that won't disappoint. Luke's and The Summit. Also for all you oldies, my favourite steak house that closed some time ago. Emmeline's Sirloin House on Smith Rd. East of Denver.
I would go to The Fort every year near Christmas. Last year the steak and service was absolutely awful. They had to remake my medium-well steak and still came out blue. That tradition is no more
My only critique if you’re gonna rate steaks throughout Denver, you need to do the exact same thing in every restaurant to have a proper rating other than that thanks for sharing
The seasoning on steak at Mickey's is definitely Lawry's Seasoned Salt. It's a good default to use on beef and is used a lot in the restaurant industry. I've only been there once but definitely need to go back. I was honestly surprised a bit and genuinely enjoyed it. It's just an honest place.
I like the food videos. You should let us pick the restaurants and you rate them. Like the best Korean fried chicken restaurants, best tacos, best sushi.
I have had Shelly (from Mickey's) serve a couple of places. She is a great server. I did not enjoy Mickey's food at all and went 3 much different times.
True story: I had one of the best filets of my life at Del Frisco's Double Eagle. It was a work event and the woman I was sat across from was so insufferable that it soured me on the entire experience. That, and only room for one corporate steakhouse. Great steak though!
@@DenverLivingwithSam Awesome! My wife and I stumbled onto these videos (I think looking at brunch) - but we love your format and take on stuff. Keep it up!

Steakhouse 10. Hands down. Add it to your Part 2 list. You know you’ll do one.

Emmelines- the good ole days!!
Obviously everyone has their favorite. I was born and raised on the west side so Simms and The Fort were our go to. I miss The Broker.

I appreciate the meaty work you put into this video, my friend. Well done!
Appreciate you, my man!
excellent tour de steak, Sam!
I'll be visiting Denver for most of December, and will definitely indulge based on your ratings!
🤜🤛
Came for the steaks, stayed for the Tim Dillon Corporate Steakhouse shout out

The Fort- Yech!

That's a good call, and that would explain it. I felt the same about Mickey's...very honest and surprisingly good.

I went to Guard and Grace for my bday last year and was underwhelmed. Shanahan's is on my bucket list.
First time I went I felt the same way. So that's what I was expecting on this trip, but I was pleasantly surprised!
Urban Farmer! Finish up with a nightcap at The Cruise Room next door.

Shelly is a true OG! Love that you know her.
Shanahan’s is clearly the best
Wow straight for the booze. *"clear ice, please!"* if that's the good stuff😊😊
Guilty! 😄
J. Alexander’s has hands down the best prime rib I’ve ever had. Ribeye over Strip, always!
Pretty cool video.
Del Frisco's brother, give it a shot

How could you not do Elways?
Sorry my best steak house is our house of Hubby's Grill! CO steaks can't be beat!
Tell me more about Denver’s best ‘old fashioned’ 🤔
You'll have to join me for that tour.
Missed 801 Chophouse on the list.
I love this place.
801 is great. That will definitely make Part 2.

Honest Review. Anyone who says Buckhorn has good food is not honest or needs to know quality.
👍
Professor Tim Dillon….😂😂😂
Thank god someone got that! 😂
Ramen for the next review?
Katsu Ramen, done!
Probably burgers. I had my first pubic ramen experience last weekend, so I have some work to do there.
Was it fish taco or sausage ramen?
You can tell in his face he’s lying about Mickey steak. It ain’t no 6.8 not even close.
