Yeah I remember the good old days of Disney Afternoon series like Gargoyles, Mighty Ducks, Gummies Bears, Chip and Dales Rescue Ranger, Tales Spin, Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, The Little Mermaid , Aladdin, Hercules, Tarzan, Timon and Pumba, House of Mouse, Kim Possible and Jake Long the American Dragon. It's good that Gargoyles, Gummies Bears, Chip and Dales Rescue Ranger, Tales Spin, Ducktales and Darkwing Duck have been released on to complete DVD collection years ago. But I still wished that The Little Mermaid , Aladdin, Hercules, Tarzan, Timon and Pumba, Mighty Ducks, House of Mouse, Kim Possible and Jake Long the American Dragon have their complete DVD collection and deserved to be released at last.
When I think of Rescue Rangers, the first image that comes to mind is gadget hackwrench aiming a gun bigger than she is and of her own design. I don’t even know if that actually happened, it’s just what comes to mind.
Quack Pack looks like when artists draw what Rugrats or Hey Arnold characters would look like twenty years later and they all just look like hipster models.
FYI: The lead vocalist (and songwriter/composer) for the Theme of the Gummi Bears is Joseph Williams, son of John Williams (yes, THAT John Williams, of Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, Home Alone, Jaws, ET, Superman, Harry Potter, Saving Private Ryan, & Schindler's List fame).
I was just going to make a comment about this, thanks in advance. And Nostalgia Critic is so freaking wrong about dying on that last note, he's still alive! 🙄😒
I remember fondly of The Disney Afternoon, as one of my fondest memories was watching The Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series as a kid in 1996, while taking care of my infant little brother, as my parents were out, as it was worth doing to watch some Animated Disney fun!
DarkWing Duck, and Gargoyles were so far ahead of their time it was insane. Gummie Bears was like my countdown timer. I knew I had that 30 min to get ready for the real shows.
Nope. If anything, they'll get worse. UA-cam is slowly pushing content creators out. One day you won't be able to watch stuff like this on UA-cam, because it just won't be a viable platform for content creators that aren't part of a major corporation. Hopefully by that time there will be something else, but it's looking like that won't be the case, because everyone is too afraid to risk what they already have, despite what they have, being slowly but clearly taken away by UA-cam itself. In about ten years, all of the small creators will be gone. And then during the ten years after that, all of the big creators like Nostalgia Critic, will slowly drop off, until it's all gone. And all that's left is a Netflix clone. Which is sad. :(
I first watched Gargoyles a few months ago after seeing NC's review of it, and it's one of the BEST shows I have ever seen! it's a prime example of Disney at its best; AMAZING animation, dark but also funny, mature but also fun for kids, and no stupid pandering. Elisa, for example, is a strong and badass character, but the show never tried to annoy you about it or make the male characters dumb in comparison to her. even as a gen Z girl, I always found those types of female characters annoying since they're usually boring and total Mary Sues, so seeing a character like Elisa was so refreshing!
I had a literal brain tic for weeks a few months ago. The duck tales song playing in my head all day, all night, all the time I was conscious. I was going insane, I forgot all about it until now. Thanks. Thanks a lot.
In middle school chorus, we sang the Disney Afternoon songs all three years. It was a favorite group of songs among most of the students. We also sang a couple of Disney movie songs.

But 300% of it as as whole
Was a *living hell* (for me that is)!!!!
Over ten years later and i still come back to this video annually
Lilo and stitch the series
Like.
Alfred Hinton Yes!
Darkwing looks lit. Wish I could have seen it or they'd do a reboot.
Watch episodes of it uploaded on UA-cam.
Darkwing is in the ducktales reboot
They better, or better yet see the new Ducktales. They had an episode of Darkwing Duck episode in season 2
They’re actually in the works of rebooting it :)
Fun fact: Tom Selleck auditioned for Indiana Jones but was told he would't get the role of Magnum if he took it. Making one chipmonk look like Indi and the other look like Magnum was probably an in-joke acknowledging the connection.
I would love it if the Ducktales reboot somehow worked in a reference to Quackpack, just somehow a disparaging meta-riff, that would be so EXTREME!
There is in season 3
Bro, are you good?
One of the best episodes you guys made! It certainly brings a sense of Nostalgia and love to see stuff like this, and I'm actually kinda glad you re-uploaded this, despite the copyright claim. It just brings the spark of happiness once again especially those of my generation and older! :D
Also, Rest In Peace to the lovely Sandra Walker; she did a fantastic job in this video, and raised an incredibly talented son! I know it's been 2 years since she passed, but we all still miss her. :')
Jesus Christ another copyright claim!?
Stoopid idiot Productions ikr
Stoopid idiot Productions I know right!!!
I love how Tim Curry just randomly showed up in practically every 90's and early 2000 show.
He's the villain of our childhood for a reason.
bro's been around
@@PandaMonium92827 Him and Jim Cummings
Hearing tony jay and Tim curry is like who is the better villain.
the fact Bonkers shows up in the DuckTales reboot, is just wild
1:31 to 1:39 was a cool transition, took me a while to see Malcolms face and Tamaras reaction
I just got the "DW has a good ring to it" joke.
Sly, Doug, Sly.

But I still wished that
The Little Mermaid , Aladdin, Hercules, Tarzan, Timon and Pumba, Mighty Ducks, House of Mouse, Kim Possible and Jake Long the American Dragon have their complete DVD collection and deserved to be released at last.
Darkwing duck never did get a complete set, season 3 hasn’t been released and it most likely won’t be thanks to Disney +
Don Karnage is on the new DuckTales and he's AMAZING
6:58 "That..Witch Duck"- Referring to Magica DeSpell.
- I laughed WAY too hard at that!
"Disney Afternoon - Nostalgia Critic1"
we can read dude
no need to put the title in comments
Typo?
They fixed it.
Randal Graves Sad

I absolutely adored tale spin as a kid and was shocked to find out later they only made one season.
Chip n’ Dale is pretty badass admittedly.
A Classic Episode has returned. Thank you!
No it's current.
@@Emuraman no, this is a reupload of a vid from 2014

The Aladdin bit killed me. "Did he just die?"
Hearing Gilbert Godfried. voice still hurts rest in peace Gilbert Godfried.
I wished we got an adult cartoon with both him and Norm McDonald cause they were a delight to listen to.
@@Josh-Man Clearly you never heard of sarcasm/jokes.
I remember fondly of The Disney Afternoon, as one of my fondest memories was watching The Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series as a kid in 1996, while taking care of my infant little brother, as my parents were out, as it was worth doing to watch some Animated Disney fun!
I loved Darkwing as a kid. I had ALL the toys...and clothes...and anything else I could get my parents to buy me.

I call them Launchpad, Magica Despell, Gyro Gearloose, Creepy McCreepy Kid, and Lin Manuel Miranduck.
Yes, i watched the 2017 version
Really? Lin Manuel Miranduck? Clever
And now the new version is Magica De Spell is the new waifu for so many people XD
The one villian that Nostalgia Critic couldn't remember in Aladdin his name was Mosenrath.
16:09 this is why I like Henry Danger, sometimes they care more about how they are perceived by the media than actually protecting the city
Doug, a lesser form of art.

Guy who took Gummi Bears to seriously
That was apparently the lead singer of Toto
@@Stormkrow280 thats why he sounds so familiar
DarkWing Duck, and Gargoyles were so far ahead of their time it was insane. Gummie Bears was like my countdown timer. I knew I had that 30 min to get ready for the real shows.
Tony jay was everywhere in the 90s.
Doug’s face at 1:33 is all the motivation i need to keep watching this 😂
Who's here after seeing the new DuckTales SDCC 2019 poster?
24:11 - 24:17 Doug Walker CLEARLY hasn't watched Ed, Edd, n Eddy.
It's his favorite show I thought.
Roman Kazinets nope, that would be Avatar: The Last Airbender
Jesus Christ!!! When will these copyright issues end?!!
*NEVER*
This video is the sole reason I understood every single reference in the Ducktales reboot.
I've always loved the enthusiasm in this episode
People : What kind of music do you like?
Me : 80's Cartoon Theme Songs!
And vgm songs.
I'm currently almost done with season 2 of Gargoyles, and it is really amazing! I can't believe it took me so long to begin watching it.
Gargoyles nuff said.
I had a literal brain tic for weeks a few months ago. The duck tales song playing in my head all day, all night, all the time I was conscious. I was going insane, I forgot all about it until now. Thanks. Thanks a lot.
42:40 Tamara is like she’s excited to see her mom for the first time
3:25 He also played a bird character on a show called Cyber Chase but I remember really liking him when I was a kid
I always die laughing when the Critic is singing along with the gummie bears theme
In middle school chorus, we sang the Disney Afternoon songs all three years. It was a favorite group of songs among most of the students. We also sang a couple of Disney movie songs.
Lol the Canadian tire ice truck made me die for some reason.
R.I.P. Doug Walker's mother. Her appearance in this video reminds me of Ian's mom in Smosh.
I hate copyright strikers.
Darkwing Duck is my spirit animal... yeah I said it
5:15 That's probably because Jim Cummings voiced both of those characters, as well as at least one character from pretty much every show here.
Same with June Foray voicing both of the characters at 5:20
Hell, he even was in Ducktales 2017 as Jim Starling, an in-universe actor who played Darkwing Duck.
These show was my 90's growing up.
17:45-17:51 fun fact: I asked Rob Paulsen who voices both characters if he’s heard that theory and he said he didn’t
I always love revisiting this video. Truly fantastic! You talk about Disney Afternoon so wonderfully here. I’m a huge fan of Mighty Ducks and Aladdin and I don’t love the backlash you give them but I respect that we don’t like all the same things. Still this review is totally a fun classic!
