I've really been enjoying your videos! I have Embroidery Works and had no idea about BX files! I can't believe I had this in my hands all this time. Adding one letter at a time was a pain. Your tutorials are for Embrilliance but it looks exactly like Embroidery Works. Are they made by the same company?
+Cindy Geiger Our three-letter monograms shown in this video are designed so that the middle letter is automatically larger. They are mapped in Embrilliance so that when you type ABC it automatically pulls in the left A, middle B and right C. Carson, Clubhouse, Mansion, Natural Circle, Curtsy, Empress, Fancy Oval and Fancy Circle all work that way. Please watch video 6 for how Intertwined Vine works. The end of that video shows how you can make a monogram using two sizes of a regular alphabet as well.
And I found the answer to my own question... I'm posting a link below for anyone who has the same question later. BX Fonts - Not sure what they are? Check out this information! - Bubbles' Menagerie Machine Embroidery sew-bubbles.com/not-sure-what-bx-fonts-are-check-out-this-information/
Nita .Poole I'm sorry, we are just now seeing your question. I save as both. The working file I can return to later in software if I need to make a change -- it is easier to edit a working file than a stitch file. The stitch file is the PES file (or your preferred format) that I will use at my embroidery machine.
Go to the Embrilliance website and download the full Embrilliance platform. It will run for free in Express Mode, allowing you to create and save text designs created with installed BX files. When it asks for serial numbers, leave it blank and click done. You will have limited access to features, but can do everything we demonstrated in our videos! embrilliance.com/downloads

A super tutorial! You make everything look so easy. Thank you
I need help figuring out how to do a 4 letter monogram using a BX monogram font. 3 letters seems to be the max.

I'm sorry, I just now found your comment! Yes, both are made by Briton Leap :)
How do you get the middle letter larger than the other two?

How publishing a font monogram BX ?
But you had to buy the monogram fonts, correct?
Yes, you can use Embrilliance in Express Mode for free to use our fonts that you can purchase from our website.
This is probably going to sound like a dumb question, but what is a BX file? I only recently came across that term. Thank you!

What do you save the files as? Working and Stitch, Stitch, Working?

How did you get the free version??? I can only find it for $150 and I am desperately trying to find a cheaper version.
