    This was incredibly helpful! Amazing that it was posted 6 years ago and it's the only video I've found on how to use alternate letters.

    I recently purchased a sheet set From Walmart and embroidered it with the Starstruck font. How could a $50 sheet set become a $200 one of a kind masterpiece? The secret is this extraordinary font. Thank you Janay.

    Thanks for the video. I have a 4x4 hoop. What size would you recommend I use for a person's name, and what size do I have to choose for that hoop?

    Hello, I enjoyed your video. I have a question, how do you import the fonts that are not part of Embrilliance to be put into the Font location? Where all the other fonts are.

    I just ordered Embrillance Essentials and have been searching for an tutorial how to use the swirly fonts but this is one of the best video I have seen. I will be watching more of your videos. I notice you have the word set to enter the words I don’t have that option I just hit enter on the key board. Also I purchased all PES fonts instead of the BX fonts what is my disadvantage I have a Babylock Destiny II sewing machine. Wi

      When using the multi-line text option, you have to click "set". If you are on the single line of text option, the set button isn't there, you simply hit enter. All of our embroidery fonts and monograms include both PES and BX files.

    Is there an "easy" button to push that will make a script font word stitch out all at once? Mine stitch out one letter at a time....stops and starts after each.

      Embroidery fonts like ours are digitized such that each letter is its own design file, so each letter has its own tie on and tie off stitches. That obviously makes sense for a print font where letters are separated by spaces - script fonts have to be done the same way. We try our best with our scripts to have the letter tie on on the left and tie off on the right so when letters slightly overlap the jump between letters is tiny. Depending on your machine model and the trim code settings, it is possible that it can stitch without stopping to trim the jump stitch. Not all letters can be digitized that way though (for example stopping to dot an i) and so there may be some unavoidable jumps.

    Does Embrillance automatically take out the overlap stitches when stitching out?

    • @TheItch2Stitch1

      It depends on your settings and what program features you own. When running in Express mode for free, no. If you have Essentials, you can click on the "Stitch" tab of a lettering object and check "Remove Hidden Stitches". That will remove full stitches that are completely overlapped within a single letter object. (I personally do not use this feature when stitching script fonts, so I leave that box unchecked.)

    I purchased the Embrilliance software. When you go to the Letter section you have several selections. How did you get so many different fonts?

    • @TheItch2Stitch1
      @TheItch2Stitch1  7 років тому +1

      If you purchased Essentials, it comes with 12 built in fonts. The rest of the fonts shown in our videos are available for purchase on our website, theitch2stitch.com. Included with purchase are BX installation files that will allow you to install our fonts into Embrilliance so they appear alongside the 12 built in fonts. You can learn more here:

      Thank you! I love your fonts! I have 2 embroidery machines. When I purchase your fonts, could I use them for both my Brother and Janome machine?

    • @TheItch2Stitch1
      @TheItch2Stitch1  7 років тому +1

      Yes! You will install the BX file into Embrilliance, and then you can save your created text design as either a PES file for the Brother or a JEF file for the Janome. (Both PES and JEF files are included with purchase, too, but I rarely use design files anymore now that I can TYPE text and let Embrilliance automagically merge it for me!)

      The fonts used in our videos are not free, they are available for purchase from theitch2stitch.com
      We are demonstrating how to use them in free software available from Embrilliance to create and save text designs.
