This probably won’t break your PCB but there is a chance. Please be careful if you do this.
This video was to figure out how to theoretically get the most flex, but it is probably not practical.
what are the keycaps you never tell us in the keyboard specs.

I ran no plate on my kbd67lite for 2 months, it was a good sound and typing experience. But then some switches would just pop off randomly, torture.

Some Chinese enthusiasts also didn't like the kbd67lite's stiff typing experience, they go customize a new plate that has leaf-spring gaskets and LOTS of flex cuts. Also they change the pcb with one that has flex cuts for every key (just like the owlab suit80). I think this is a safer option than to go half-plate.

Next monkeyboard video: ok so this kbd67 lite is pretty stiff even after modding and I think the porblem here is the pcb so we're gonna remove that, and were just gonna mount the all of the switches with some super squishy foam and I also removed the keyboard case, even after all of these it was still pretty stiff so I decided to remove the switches and for the final product here we got keycaps made from foam mounted on a very bouncy trampoline and I'm not gonna lie there is some flex but can we get it more to flex?, *yes we can*

This is the stupidest mod, I love it
bounce is when the whole keyboard moves up and down and flex is pcb plate bending when applied pressure.
This might be dangerous for your keeb because not only you will break your pcb on half it will break traces (the tiny lines outside or inside the pcb)on the pcb and causes keys to not work or the traces on the driver chip itself
who cares, its a kbd67, buy a few spares and have fun.

Maybe 5 minutes, if your are doing an aluminum plate it would take a lot longer because you would need a dremel

They were just some cheap ones that came with a board. You could probably just find some black on white ABS cherry profile keycaps on Amazon if you wanted them
