Can anyone tell me why so any of these tanks have so few fish? Or do they have enough fish? Is there a reason why tanks like these benefit from fewer fish?
Hi Mike, great question. I think there’s two considerations...
Aesthetically fewer fish can look better balanced. The aquascape as a whole is a picture - the plants, hardscape and fish ideally composed to create harmony and peace.
From a biological perspective fewer fish means less organic waste production and less oxygen consumption. This means less algae and easier maintenance.
I hope that makes sense! 👍
I tried adding a bunch of small community fish. Doesnt work too well. Trial and error, some liked to eat the plants
Few fish is good
For planted tank few schooling fish are enough
Its like a reef tank. Its not all about the fish. Balance is key.
Check out all of these awesome aquascapes at Green Aqua!
Let me know in the comments which is your favourite tank and why...
Hai George. I wanna requires if u dont mind. Please make next video about filtration system. Thank you.
Mate too much option. We could not choose :) Thanks for your time with us last week. This was awesome and within a few days, we had some time for great conversations too. Always a pleasure to welcome you and share the same passion. I am sure we will do something together later this year :) In the meantime..... keep on scapin' mate! :) Thanks for the video!
What a beautiful store and aquariums.
Look at all that space. Most shops in my area cant sustain themselves just by aquarium goods, so they cram the place with goods for dogs and birds etc.
That water so clear if the fish weren’t there I would say didn’t have any water
Wow... this was when Cinescaper only had 4k subs and Green Aqua only 12k!
I literally can't choose a favorite scape, they are all just mind blowing
. This shop is just next level compare to anything I have access to in my country.. I'm so jealous haha
I would love to set up an Aquarium cafe based on these ideas. Really Marvelous.
That’s a great idea! I’d drink coffee there for sure 😊
How could you choose anyone as a favorite!? I wish my area had one tenth of this store. What an amazing place!
Cheers Shawn!
Unbelievable place🔥🌱 I actually just re-scaped my 10 gallon to look similar to one of these show tanks. Low tech....but it’s a beauty! Great video George👍🏻
Thanks 🙏👍
Rocket fuel for the aquatic imagination. Fantastic store no matter how many videos watch.🐠🐟🌿😎
Can't choose anything.everything is so perfect and beautiful. This shop is like a hevaen 👏👍
Hey.... I want to see how u guyzz transport or ship the aquascape if someone purchase them...!
Mention me if someone answers.
What a beautiful place. Everything looks so clean.
Hi george just got back from Budapest I'd like to thank you for introducing me to this store. It was the highlight of my holiday stunning store
My favourite tank is ada 60p with hydrocotyle maritima and moss, which is really easy to maintain. I enjoy aquascape as hobby, so it should be easy. No need of heavy fertilizer and heavy lighting, it's perfect ideal tank for me.
Honestly, I think my favorite tank was the first one (the 'overgrown' one, lol). I just really like that overgrown look - it looks wild and I love how there is so much to look at.
Same. Always prefer a wild plant
Looked at that tank quite a few times. That Hydrocortyle Tripatita is just heavenly!!!
I am saying in your style, This shop is "MOTHER *BEEP* AWESOME". 😅 Thank you very much George. #keeponscapin.
Thanks Pintu 👍😊
Great video as always. 1800 I think it was is superb 😀
Hard to pick a favourite - but I kinda like the Bio-orb air tank setup. The bigger ones were awesome, but that had a simplicity to it, and I can see it appealing to the average person who doesn't have time or space to maintain a big aquarium.
It is too overwhelming to make a choice would not do it justice. What a wonderful store.
I agree Robert! 👍😊
I assigned a number to each scape in the order you showed them. Number 1 was the very first tiny one, which makes number 2 the terrarium. I think dart frogs would look great in the terrarium. The third scape is the super overgrown one that Viktor mentioned was going to be the subject of an upcoming video. I actually like the overgrown jungle look very much. (Hopefully, my numbering system will make sense.) My scape preferences tend to run toward the U shape or the triangle.
My favorite scape is number 5 - the oldest aquascape in the store. I love the color lining the pathway. All the plants are beautiful and give a lovely texture and feel to the scape. I just want to walk down that path between the lovely red stems.
I also have a few other favorites. I normally do not gravitate to island scapes, but I really like the one you did (scape number 6). It is the colorful plants and the lovely mix of textures and shapes in the green plants that draw me to it. Number 8, the 150cm tank, had a wonderful rock layout with a path through them that I wanted to walk down. The colorful plants in the background were a pretty addition. Scape number 12 was the smaller one on the see through stand, my notes read "great mix of plants, love the colors and the textures, beautiful".
If you made it this far, thanks for reading my thoughts. Green Aqua is an amazing shop and I hope to visit one day.
I want to grow dwarf hairgrass in my 60 gal long. Can I grow it with 2 watts cob light (total 60 - 70 watts)? My tank is only 18" high.
Hello from los angeles george 😊 ... saw this video and immediately subed !!! Thank - you for the tour of this amazing store .. stunning / inspiring / breathtakingly beautiful 😊❤ . Best wishes always george.
Most beautiful shop in Europe!!! This video was zen!! Love it with the music!
BSA aquascaping I
The one at 8:25 is my favorite... looks like a rhinoceros Beetle
George, I'm a fan of any kind of Rotala!
#5 by Viktor with Rhodostomus. These fish are perfect in this aquarium. #6 by George Farmer beautiful plants. I think the gravel even looks different from the others and accentuates the colors! 😝650L aquarium #7 by Balazs What a beast! In a good meaning 😜 I have no words ... Ahh and I love the last ones 😁 All of them has a lot of quality, love and dedication that is so hard to choose just one ..😊
How could you possibly pick a favorite? So beautiful!
i've never heard anyone say cheerio, my life is complete
Amazing shop ,thinking to visit it :)
Nice content as usual George
Thanks Marius 👍
You’re a lucky man George Farmer! Most beautiful aquascaping shop I’ve ever seen. Loved all the tanks.
It's Magical.. I can watch these for hours : 0
Thanks for bringing us along George.
Cheers Dave 👍😊
The big terrarium is begging for Golden Dart Frogs. 😊 I like the first aquarium because it looks a little bit 'loose'. 😊
Also, I need one of those gimbals! 😁
Absolutely Amazing! I really like the open-Alpine looking scape. Cheers!
Mine would be the one with Denison's barb, mostly because I have them in my tank just as big! Loved the video and all the aquascapes!!
I liked the big one with the rainbow fishes the most. Mainly because of the contrast between the bright sand and plants and the dark stone!
This shop is on another level, I love seeing everyone’s different footage here because you always notice something different. Budapest is such a wonderful location as well.
I love the iwagumi style tank (the second big tank) because I could just picture a scene from lord of the rings or the hobbit being filmed here
Cheers Luke 👍
Ridiculous video thanks so much George, I have to plan a trip to this store incredible scapes. How is it possible to choose a favourite! First scape by Balasch you shown is impressive for innovation. All beautiful!
Thanks Jake 👍
#6. The complexity of the plants is just so realistic to me, like nature designed it.
#7. Green. So, green. The fish are very nice as well!
They are all amazing, but @8:06, my jaw dropped, goodness gracious.
Those are some amazing aquascape aquariums. The store looks awsome. I wish we had a store like this in Orlando. Thanks for sharing.
i love the one at 4:22.... i love the overgrown look.... amazing...inspiring, just awesome!!!!
Turkiyedede şöyle bir akvaryum dizayn konsept mağazası gorebilcekmiyiz?????
What an incredible shop. Must go some day !
Thanks greetings from Holland Jan
Thanks Marianne! 👍
Nice scapes!!! So many together in one place I will watch this over, and over again so I can take them all in!!
Make the Americans convert! Haha
is that real? they made a a pointless glass piece for putting micro food into the tanks. well done with the 1000000x profit margin.
Welcome to the beautiful world of aquascaping
Bosemani Rainbows will always take the show! I love mine for the pop of color they add to a green scape 👌
I've seen a lot of Boesemani and these were some of the most beautiful.
Absolutely, cannot agree more. The tank with the Bosemani Rainbows. Such inspiring work. Fantastic.
God damnit! I live here and had no idea about this place!
Many thanks to you George for bringing this to my attention! And congrats to Viktor and the rest of the staff for a truly exceptional oasis of cosmic and tranquil beauty!!
I appreciate that you may have a lot of American viewers but don't apologies for using European measurements as it degrading to your European viewers, there is enough fish videos out there pandering to the Americans.
Fair point. I’ll stick with just mentioning both units without apology 👍
You're having so much fun at the shop and with the new gimble. I love seeing your joy at being at Green Aqua. I don't think I'd ever get tired of it.
Thanks Andrew! One more video to come as well...
What an amazing shop this is! Wish I had one in my neighborhood. I see all the co2 drop checkers at the top of the aquarium. I set mine 3cm from the bottom. What's better?
Wherever you think the CO2 accumulation will be lowest
I’m not sure, but when I had Aquariums, the more fish, the more ammonia. But by planting live plants, they help keep ammonia, and plant debri down.
Very nice aquarium shop
Very nice!!!
Hello from Greece!!!💕😀
amazing place! wow
Great tank 👏
I enjoyed watching.
I am following your channel.
good luck 👍
Is there any better aquascaping shop? I doubt it
Gosh darn you George you made me buy a aquascape lol
😊
My fav...the ADA with the Vietnamese Mountain Minnows. They are one of my favorite nano fish, and the scape was so beautifully done. The scape enhanced them, they enhanced the scape, that balance that people shoot for between scape and stocking it.
SRL - comments on fire 🔥😊
Fantastic! My favorite is the tank at the 7 minute mark, with the divided layout, the red and green Rotala, rummy-nose tetras, etc. Love that store! Thanks for sharing George!
So beautiful love these aquariums
Put glass on top of the aquarium. It improves the content. Glass is cut into two halves - large and small for ease of feeding. Reduced evaporation and mineralization. The main oxygen comes from the plants and not from the surface. Good luck!
Sometimes I wonder, how do these aquascape shops stay profitable? I mean, it has a very select group of customers. But they have such big shops with so so much investment, electricity, employees... how do they make any profit?
How can one choose. There all gorgeous.
Such a cool looking store with beaut setups. First time I’ve seen the low budget setup, I’m keen to find out more about it.
Cheers for the vid George.🤙
Cheers Pete 👍
Awesome awesome awesome
sooo beautiful. i want to work there!!😘
do you use ada regulator CO2 System 74-YA Ver.2 with adapter for big refillable cylinders ?
Pick a winner out of that !!.(yes I know I'm late) Its like asking me to pick which of the 3 mother-in-laws I have/had I dislike the most !!!. A place like that would make you want to spend £££,and enjoy the experience, absolutely amazing and as you suggest towards the end,I'm in Budapest in June so will for sure be finding it. Well filmed George, you for sure did it justice.
Nice one.
Thanks Ed
That store is amazing!
Wow.......
Hi George Farmer, I am a fan of your holdings, but unfortunately there are no points of sale in the Middle East. This is the integrated store. Please inform us. Where is this store to be visited? I am from Saudi Arabia. Thank you, my friend.
At about 11 minutes in the tank with low growing plants. Wonderful store!!!!🐠🌿🐟😎
In the atrium? They should set up shelves of for sale Bonsai tree's. Make every S.F. of their space money making business. I would!
This was way to beautiful!
It seems all tanks have the filter outlet and the diffuser separated on different sides. Any reason to this? For me, putting it side by side even makes the CO2 bubbles got distributed around the tank. Sorry for a stupid question of mine.
Hi George. Love your channel. Do you know if the Aquario Neo Gel based Co2 system is available in the United States? I cannot seem to easily find a retailer.
Hi Todd, I think Aquarium Co-op have them.
You make us choose? We can’t choose!
😂
holyyy fuuuu**** that store is heavenly
Agreed! 👍😊
Amazing place. Beautiful tank and good movie. Perfect colors and plant's. George are you in heaven?
Yes! One of favourite places with some of my favourite people. 😊
I guess the video at 4:30 was overgrown but it depends on perspective. It looked very natural to me. I guess label it Jungle Style
The third tank reminds me of the hillsides in Turkey.
hey video is soothing very beautiful
can you plz share background music name
Victor's #2 tank minus maintenance... beautifully done
An aquascapers dream hey George! That big 180cm wins hands down it's on the next level, and 3 ada rgb's prob cost more than my car ha!
Ha! Yeah. Aspirational stuff 😎
Finally the truth 9:32 ... they have a dude paid full time to keep these clean. Always wondered how on earth do these tanks stay so clean without any algae...
WoW! Just flabbergasted! Wish we had something like this in India !
Also, thank you George ! I bought 10 Endler's Guppies yesterday but didn't know what they were called, because the guy who sold it to me said they were 'Deltas'
When I looked online for Deltas, I only found river fishes.
You helped me learn the real name of my fishes. I love my Endler's Guppies, they're amazing.
Glad to help 👍
I liked the scape with the Endlers, probably because it looks uncomplicated, it's a manageable size for people short on room and time, and I love the carpeting plant, it jest really appealed to me!
Cheers Paul 👍
Has anyone ordered any aquatic plants from their website? I am interested in getting some shipped to the US.
I like the one that looks like a landscape I think it was the third one the one that you said they were going to redo I like that it’s clean and natural. That’s my fave
Bonjour.. Vos aquariums sont superbes.. Es ce que vous les vendez complets avec déco et matérielhello, your aquariums are superb .., es that you sell them complete .. with rocks, plants, co2, pump, ready to be used!
That's a dream. It must be the most beautiful store on the planet, Dubai standard! Good taste extravagance. ;)
Some sunglasses might have made the intro a little less painful for you...
Anyone know what the carpeting plant across the bottom of that ada tank at 12.54 is?
Hello, what is the name of the article at minute 16:15? And what brand is it? thanks greetings!
Wow George, guess I'd have to say my favorite is the 2nd 120p tank you showed, the Iwagumi with the dragon stone with it's almost "terraced" landscape. I just love how vast and open that style is. I am dying for a 120p, but might have to settle on a 90p or 90L for my first Iwagumi style. Would you say the 120p is a lot better than the 90p for an Iwagumi setup like that? Thanks for another great vid George, so happy I found your channel.
Thanks David!
90P is probably easier but really depends on the style you’re aiming for and the materials you have at your disposal. Good luck 👍
