If you consider to put a camera on the line , please be a nice guy and cut out the footage when you reel in any fish. The sound and all the spinning that will come is a good recipe for a spinning head. I have seen a lot of that kind of footage and it’s not recommended mate.

Me when I'm fishing from the shore: "man I wish I had a boat so I could get to where the fish are"
John: parks boat right by shore and catches a whole bunch of fish within casting distance of the shore
Moral of the story: I need to get better at fishing 😅

Every time I watch your posts, I enjoy your crisp clear beautiful British accent. Besides, it is always nice when the fisherman knows very well weather he got snagged or he feels that some kind of fish got the hook in the mouth and try to hold itself in a whole. Perseverance paid off.

Well done, John. you're a natural fisherman. The being 'patient' is easier said than done when on a boat with several other anglers. If our skipper thinks there's a good fish snagged up then he might give it some time. I'm gagging to get out for a trip but it probably won't be until April for the charter as the boat's out of the water for some work for 6 weeks. I've loaded up with a large quantity of slow jigs and am going to give them more water time this year. Fishing vicariously with you helps to ease the lack of fishing trips. Might have to go fly fishing next week. Keep up the brilliant work. Max.

Always remarkable and always something different that is the only way I can describe Fish Locker footage. Those Wrasse are amazing colours and every one you caught was different in colour bar one. The underwater footage was excellent I find it more interesting because it is in British Waters. OK we have not got the diversity of The Great Barrier Reef but our fish and crabs are just as interesting. Thanks for posting and keeping us thoroughly spoilt during these difficult times. Getting my fist Covid jab next week so a welcome return to the great outdoors not so far away.

Good evening John and Hannah and Family. Thank you for your very informative and entertaining videos. Helping us all get thru Covid and the winter months. I recognised the Falmouth ares as we hold Classic Boat events there on occcasions but more importantly you appear to enjoy wonderful water conditions there. We are lucky enough to have a similar sized boat to yours but are based on the north coast and it seems to me to be a bit more exposed where we are! Please keep it up. I have already ammended our anchor rig for the comming season! Just need to catch the fish. Did manage a nice Bass last season just outside the prohibited area but still put it back for later this year... I wish ! Take care and stay safe. Thanks again.

That’s my problem, I don’t hear very good out my left eye and don’t see very good out of my right ear. The fish you caught is what kind of wrasse. nice one john
. ever tried putting an eel to sleep ? , old trick we used to use whilst longlining for them , put your left hand over the eels head and cover its eyes , then with your right hand place your thumb and forefinger on each lateral line either side of its body then pressing quite firmly move your hand towards the tail repeat this a few times until you feel the eel relax , you can then pick it up do what you want with it , just make sure you wake it up before releasing it , usually a quick tap will bring them round 😎
