0p p⁰0ppp😅😅😅😅😅
Dany Trejo has to be one of the most authentic people involved in the whole Hollywood scene.
I agree…quite authentic man. What you see is what you get!!! I thank God his life was spared and turned around.
The only one left maybe?
@@carlotapuig Pretty close although I hear Keanu Reeves is an original as well. Harrison Ford, also, apparently, didn't let too much of the glitz and glamor get to him either.
@@MaskHysteria idk man harrison ford would probably get pissed at you if you saw him randomly in public and tried to see what's up, danny trejo would probably be more interested in talking to you than you are to him, he's cool as ice
Fact!
This is man is a legend. The challenges he overcame, the circumstances he faced is amazing.
I saw Danny at the mad monster horror convention a few years back in Phoenix. He spoke to each and every one on a personal level. Much respect to this man.
I heard he was a great individual , and overcome many negative things
Both my brothers met him at a Con in Indianapolis and they said he was the nicest and most friendly celebrity they ever met.
@Brenda Koetters convicts and martial artist have the same weirdly calm energy, it takes a lot to shake them or get them worked up... talking about people I've dated not my personal experiences so I don't think I'll ever really get it, but I've been around it a ton.
Trejo can talk about anything, and it's entertaining. He's great.
this was the best interview ive seen in a long time. so sick of tribal bs, it was refreshing to just listen to someone everyone likes talk about stuff most people dont know. Thanks for that, honestly.
I love his life story and his energy. He's hilarious as well. I'm going to have to get his book. He's a national treasure.
This is a guest I NEVER expected to see on any podcast I follow. But damn, am I glad it happened. Followed his story a few years ago and knew of the time he spent "inside". Top notch work getting him Chris.
This episode was incredible. What a unique biography and character.
wow. what a great catch you got with Danny, Chris. Onwards and upwards mate.
Yesnow. Thanks brotha
Dude your guest list is getting wild.
Serious this one eyh!
My boyfriend was just telling me about Danny Trejo yesterday, whilst we were on a walk, saying I must know him as he's been in so many films, and telling me how he got his break in acting. Then this pops up! Crazy.
Cut your mic on your phone... You'd be surprised how much info these devices can extract from you. Most Androids give you the option to cut mic and cams on quick settings. Just FYI. Good day!
Chris, over the past 4 months or so you've really mastered the art of letting your guests talk just the right amount and only add anything when it needs a gentle steer. You'll be over a million in no time if you keep this up.
Love this interview, I honestly didn't know his story! Great job Chris!
Just stumbled across this channel and you have such a great magnetism to you and you understand Danny with such a short time to react and capture his raw emotion in an amazing, authentic way. Subbed
This interview was legit. Loved it! Thanks Chris and Danny
What a man. An absolute machine of life, love & freedom from the bullshit of being a human
Bloody fantastic that, you are very quickly becoming my favourite pod-caster! Bravo I say!! 👌🏻
Great interview. Just finished Danny's book last week. Reconmended.
Absolutely amazing interview so happy I stumbled across this subscribed
I'd love just 10 minutes of conversation with Danny. How fortunate you are to have done such a lengthy interview with him. Was a pleasure to watch!
He’s a drug dealer in gta China wars gta3 and vice city and stories
Great interview👍
Great video man, could listen to Danny all day long.
Awesome interview!
Dude...you have finally achieved legendary status.....awesome guest lad
Excellent interview ✌❤🤙 thank you
Been waiting for this one LET'S GOOOO
Love this guy. I feel like he could sit and have an interesting conversation with anyone on earth
Such a great interview 👏
What an epic conversation. This made my Sunday :)
Awesome! Good work!
What a really nice guy, wouldn't like to get on his bad side but a guy you'd love to meet in a bar, buy him a drink and just listen to his stories. Great interview Chris, thanks
This is so fascinating.
Everyone should check out his "Badass" trilogy.
The Trejo/Glover team up you didn't know you needed!
@Chris Williamson - Thank you very much for this inspiring interview! 🧡
U look like that actress in the godfather , Vito's daughter 🙄👍
@@diogenes. ❤️
Oh , she's sister of Francis Ford Coppola ,aunt of Nicolas Cage 🙄 Talia Shire , fancy you 🤣❤️
@@diogenes. 🤣💯
This was sooo good! Real legend!
Man!
I could listen to Danny talk forever!
❤
Wow that was completely different but awesome… loved it.
Thanks to you both 🤍
Saw a short of this, thought it was something ragging on Danny. Found out it was something great. Thanks for the awesome content!
This is outstanding! How does it not have a million views?!
This is awesome !
Epic. Loving this interview. Need to get Malice together with Danny and watch the results.
Amazing show
Oh, nice! I can't wait to watch it.
Great video!!
this was awesome!!!
Aaaamazzzing Danny Trejo!! his story is fascinating and he tells it so lightheartedly. I appreciate his sense of humor and his humility. Thank you, Danny.. you're an awesome actor and storyteller. I can relate to where you come from.. and i'm intrigued as I listen. @24:38 . wow!! blessings..
What a great conversation
Great storys.
That was one hell of an interview.
Who wouldn’t want an Uncle Trejo ? Such a seasoned wise soul
this was a sick interview mate.
Thanks bruh
Thankyou Mr Trejo for your wise words regarding drugs, people and resent. They will help me with my life.
Great interview! What a charming, funny, honest guy, couldn't take my eyes of him, not a syllable of bullshit.
I had a feeling he was talking about Bunker at the start of Getting into movies, i read Eddie's biography Mr Blue years ago after Reservoir Dogs came out and he tells more or less the same story. Brilliant interview. He's right about Education Of A Felon, all his books are quite decent considering his education.
Amazing storyteller and life. Wow.
Epic. I watch every movie he's in (even the terribly bad 😅) This was great, Chris. Thanks.
I've only seen the good ones I think, thankfully
In case you haven't watched it, Bubble Boy was a comedy he was in. Very cheesy, but good.
Are you thirteen from Dr. House ?!
@@diogenes. um... no, but I'm gonna take that as a compliment and run. Lol
Underrated Legend. 💯💪🏽🔥🔥🔥
Seriously good person.
Goes out of his way to help people without a paparazzi in sight.
WOW!!!!!!!!. Mad respect to you!..... LOVE THIS GUY!
I have always been entranced by everything this man has done in film... I could see he is the real deal. There is the recognition because I came from the same place... Thank you for this interview. One of the most interesting men in the shit that is Hollywood. Fascinating. I wish him all the best.... A man like this is a fine thing to see.
That was one of the best interviews I’ve ever watched. So many amazing laugh out loud moments.
Im now a huge fan of Danny's after watching tbis interview
One bad hombre, I loved this video
What a great an insightful interview.. I'm from Chicago and when I was a young man I had serious IV drug problems I ended up homeless on the streets of LA and addicted to heroin by the grace of God I got into Tarzana Treatment Center and one Friday or Saturday evening guess who shows up at the treatment center to be the AA speaker for the night, none other than Danny Trejo wow what an incredible story this guy has I'll never forget him. By the way I've been clean and sober for over 12 years God is good🙂
Great job bro Sr. Trejo es El mejor. Love your work Danny. Ha vivido una gran Vida.
Is this podcast on Spotify on any chance
Great interveiw and hearing stories about the other legend .. Eddie Bunker .... go read his books .. his autobio is great ...
Am I the only one who wants to know how to hypnotise yourself the way Manson did it to Danny them? Not to get high but to place yourself in a phenomenal mindset where you believe in yourself so much that you instantly become the best version of yourself.
I've always loved this guy! I still use the "cut the vato" line from bubble boy....this dude is cool af
Pulled one out of the bag here mate 👍👍
Good stuff Chris! One of the other really neat things about Danny is that he made it big later in life. So often success is portrayed as a young man's game but that doesn't always have to be the case 😎
100%. Inspiration for people who want to crush Q3 & Q4 of their existence
what a great pod
Eye worked at Miami Spice in Marina del rey- Venice back in late 80's early 90's. Trejo's Sharing his Story brought up melancholy of all those friends and a world long changed.
You two pair well
Damn...Good catch. We like Danny
Love Danny and his amazing work he's done in movies but I respect him even more for what he's done for abused Pit bulls.
Met this guy one time,we talked about a mutual friend,he was real nice
Wow this one is unexpected, what a legend!
38:48 Nice. This is the first interview of his I've seen. I like him!
Do you have a dog ?
why didnt this come up when it was out!
I love Danny as an Actor. He is so realistic
Damn this was one of the funniest podcasts I've ever seen.
Legend
Trejo is amazing. I will watch anything he is in, don't care how big his role is.
This interview reminds me of why I loved the film Barry Lyndon. That film did an amazing job of highlighting and parodying the veiled violence inherent in the system of civilized society. Likewise the brutality of San Quentin is the realpolitik of mankind stripped of all dignity.
Magnificent!
Let's hope you don't sell out for access like H3H3 did. Good interview, Danny seems like a fun guy.
H3 h3 ???
Whew strap in lads!
I bought the audiobook from the intro. I'll come back and watch this when I'm done with that 13 hours. I promise. ;-)
Dude! Everyone Loves Trejo!
Man this guy is for real.
Force of nature man.
He still talks like a convict. That's not an insult/bad thing, it's just a observation of a very distinctive way of speech/communication/exuding personality. I'm not sure the word I'm looking for.
Holy crap him making an impression of one of his co-workers just blew my mind he's so funny even with his wisdom and experience damn.
I love this interview. Danny’s like- I’m getting paid more to ACT like myself than actually be myself. Like- you’re going to pay me more to act like I’m robbing people than I make actually robbing people??
Love Danny Trejo, even though he scares the crap out of me in his movies. 😂😂 However, saw him recently in a comedy and he was great!!
Spanish legend salute brother from colombia
Hey I’m originally from Calexico, small town in Imperial Valley east of San Diego. You never really hear it mentioned ❤
Jordan Peterson, and now this 👍. Good stuff. Keep it up bro
