this is my belief: the good and neutral endings are merely simulations/dreams of Vanessa. in the true ending, she kills everyone, and is the only alive character on the character select screen. the player's chance to "change their mind" may just be Vanessa imagining another iteration of the world where she doesnt spread the Ender across the world, meaning that it didnt actually happen. also, the fact that the player just arrives at the end of the game to save PAFF seems a little too convenient, no? so it might be Vanessa imagining someone else to kill her and save PAFF.
Well when you say yes in the good ending it mentions you in the end of the credits For neutral it doesn't cause it is as if PAFF did it by herself For bad you weren't there cause you didn't really change anything
That's actually a good theory, because in the bad ending, Vanessa only says "Do you want to change your mind?" not "Do you want to alter reality once again?" I'm guessing she's only projecting of what she wanted to happen, but you can't change reality.
Maybe the true ending is the bad ending,and Vanessa is the only one alive,and following Cytus 1 storyline(cause you can get Cytus 1 skin in this ending), she make something to active the time machine(Chapter X:the new world)so you can choose the next ending?
I think every endings is true, because the bad ending of cytus 2 leads to the beginning of cytus 1 (?!) but after that we can always make a change which mean reset and everything is back to where they have to be or you can just leave it be. So in my point of view, you are Vanessa from the beginning and we just observe through the characters in the game and at the end we can make the decision, response to Paff or not, so it leads to the end of the game. So from that moment on, you can make 2 type of world. If you do not response and self-detonate, it leads right to chapter 2 of cytus 1 (Destruction). Or if you chose to response, it's gonna make a loop and cytus 2 is still until you wanna make a destroy decision again =)) So... no matter which world you choose, to be honest I'd like to say, everything in the both cytus from the very beginning is virtual and the humanity does not exist at all and the things we called Vanessa is merely the players, and because everything is virtual so all the ending are always true. It just my personal opinion, so do not judge me :^^ happy gaming

Just the bad ending being titled as the true ending, it's like the game's storyline is already pessimistic enough. Destiny calls the world to die itself, it is supposed to die. But Rayark decided to put the neutral and good anyways to not piss off the players. I don't think the main story is going to continue in future updates or maybe there won't be anytime soon since they're now working on the Soul of Eden game, if it does have any updates in the future might as well use it to progress the story from either the good ending, neutral ending, or even both (that is if Rayark has the guts).
Good ending and Neutral ending isn't for the purpose of pissing players off. Some youtuber said that they have been talking to a Cytus staff for a long time and said that they originally don't have any plans for a good ending. They only did because they're planning on releasing them on Nintendo, which is still in progress. The reason the song "Used to be" went reversed is because Vanessa was trying to bring everyone back, she tried, but she failed to do so, leaving her in a state of depressing thoughts.

I think I get why this is the true ending. It's what would've happened if you didn't interfere with the events of the story, if you didn't help them And Cytus II seems to be predicting our future. (Ender? Corona?) If something like Vanessa was found, humans would probably do the same to her as they did to Vanessa, with no regards to robots' thoughts. But we don't have someone outside our world to press a button. With technology like it is, we're probably doomed. Even in the true ending though, Vanessa can still try to convince herself she's happy, lying in the garden, seeing Ivy and only Ivy. But all she can really do is stay there, attached to her cord, feeling nothing, knowing that the last thing she ever did was going to disappoint Ivy. And Ivy is gone. But that's just a theory... Embrace the fact the bad ending is the true ending. But i just recognize something In the bad ending ivy still dead and vanessa is alive so ivy and vanessa is separated. In good/neutral end vanessa die but the secret scene after credit show make me belive ivy will live so even in good ending they are still separated

Apparently thats the true ending because:
1.We didn't exist within the plot (simmilar to cytus I)
2.Thats the true plot
(we exist, but we failed)
Or we exist but we simply don't care
We exist in the virtual world, but we're only a lost data within the OS Virtual Space. All we can do is watch from afar as humanity gets wiped clean.

얼마전에 사이터즈2 엔딩을 본사람입니다.
사이터즈 재미있는 게임인데 어려워서
거의 한5개월 정도해서 엔딩 봤네요.
안풀린 떡밥이 몇개 있어서 이게 진엔딩이라고는 하는데 땜빵용으로 적었거나 파일 이름을 뒤바꿔서 적은게 아닌가 믿고있음
엔딩 루트는 같아서 이게 스포일지는 모르겠지만 초반에 파프가 도움 청하는 곳에서 무시하고 그대로 베드엔딩 루트를 타러 가면 마지막에 노트를 누르는 곳에서 파프가 모두에게 미안하다면서 울먹이는 대사가 있었는데 초반에 응답을 하면은 빠지네요.
오 그런것 까지 있었군요! 세심하게 신경을 잘 써서 만든 것 같네요
그 다음 엔딩에서 파프의 나레이션이 빠지고
해피엔딩에서 안나오는 다른 사람들의 근황이 추가돼죠..

My ivy is lvl 40 and cherry lvl 25, my vanessa is lvl 4
@@selvesteraudrin4605 You need to level up venessa max at least, but in order to understand the story, I recommend you level up all free characters

Actually I have a doubt. I think, at OS space, we responded to PAFF twice right? (Remember the story where PAFF meets an unknown person on OS?) Then in true ending, why didn't we actually respond when she requested help from us? (We, like, helped her twice so why not again instead of leaving a choice to help them?) If bad ending is included, what's the point of us being lost in OS space? Please guide me...🙏
I'm not sure why there's bad ending, but it is true ending. It is revealed by datamining

nope, the main story is basically free! you just have to level up the base characters by playing songs (difficulty doesn't matter at all).

if you're already at bad ending just go to vanessa's OS but if you're in neutral or good go to backup database (hourglass button in iM or OS), should be most recent file under main
