    I purchased these lights (1 foot length) about 3 years ago and they have been fantastic!

    In October of 2021 I purchased 2 4 packs of these lights in the 4 foot size, and if I ever need more I will buy these again. Out of 8 fixtures, I only had difficulty putting the reflectors on 1, but it is easily handled with a piece of sandpaper or an emery board slid down the channel they slip into and / or the edge of the reflector, takes only seconds to do. When I got them it cost me about $128.00 for both sets of 4, so $16.00 per fixture. My Nepenthes and VFTs both do quite well under these, and they are linked together and on a cheap plug in timer.

      Right on Mark, good to know someone who has used them long term still likes them. My pings are really coloring up nicely under them I wonder if the person who left the Amazon review just got a bad batch. I didn't have an issue with any of them. I also use a timer and it makes for a set it and forget it lighting system. Love these lights.

    Bonjour! Intéressant! J’ai des t8, j’ai mis 6 leds pour éclairer mes Hoya. J’ai des jaune et des rose-blanc. C’est bien, mais je ne sais pas si ça sera trop! Ça fait un mois et je dois arroser plus souvent.

    The Sansi 36W you recommend last year has been working great, it's been real cold in Ohio and i still have great growth for my VFT's. Make sure you keep the vft's 14 inches away from the grow light, thanks for the tips @Carnivoresplantshub ✌️

      @CarnivorousPlantsHub  Рік тому +1

      @April Gramse The flytraps will acclimate to the distance you have it. If you have it close and they aren't burning, you are probably okay. Like KngAztec said, just keep an eye on it and move back as needed! I usually keep mine about 10 inches.

    I purchased the shop light version off of Sarcenia Northwest's recommendation and contemplating replacing them with these grow light versions. Have also heard of the preference to 6500k kelvin, which is a cooler white. Any reason particularly you went with the warmer (pinkish) white over the cool white?

    • @CarnivorousPlantsHub
      @CarnivorousPlantsHub  Рік тому +2

      I actually meant to get the cool white and ordered the pinking on accident. I decided to just give them a try instead of sending back. They aren't super pink, it's very faint and mostly just look like slightly warmer white. So far, they are doing a great job coloring up my flytraps and pings. Flytraps are growing great under them, which is the real test. I plan on updating this review in the next couple weeks showing how they are doing with different kids of plants including, pings, nepenthes, flytraps and sundews.

    So can these handle all types of carnivorous plants? And if so could we get an updated video on how your setup is doing and about how far you’d keep each plant away from the lights? If so thanks! I wanna buy new lights I have a sansi 36 watt bulb and a yescom 225 and I feel like I just need more brighter lights

      Kyle, you read my mind. I just bought two Lowes venus flytraps and they are currently under the lights. Right now I have flytraps, nepenthes, pings, sundews and cephalotus all under the lights right now. I will be doing an update in probably 30 or 60 days advising my results.

    Most likely the difference between you and the reviewer who couldn’t get the reflector pieces in is that you read the directions.

      Yes, when growing plants indoors, electricity should always be considered. I go with LED because they are so much more affordable to run for long lengths of time than traditional bulbs. Maybe start with two Lorenzo and keep an eye on how much energy they burn?
