A garlic press from the utensil section at a supermarket will be a beloved addition to your kitchen. You don’t have to peel garlic. You drop it in the press and it squeezes out tiny pieces of garlic and leaves the husk in the press.
Well, yes, but you have to buy a VERY good one -- if the grater-end of the press isn't sharp enough, you end up wasting much too much garlic. I've had several garlic presses, but I never liked any of them. Much prefer a small, sharp knife.
A very easy and effective "salad spinner" is to put the food on a towel, pull up edges to make a bundle, put that towel into an old pillow case, tie a cord to it and then spin the thing like a cowboy spins a lariat. It works really well and is free, just make sure to do it outside or in a large open space where you will not knock anything over by accident. If you expect a lot of moisture to come out of the food, use multiple towels. My grandma taught me that long before they invented salad spinners.

My aunt cooked what she called Spanish steak. I can,t find any recipe like it. Flank steak was marinated with vinegar and onions.Tomato sauce and green peppers were used. Can you help me out?
