i have a 2016 xl883N and it looks exactly the same but mine is matte black.
Nice bike I like the color and everything but I don't think I will part with my paid for '09 Electra Glide classic. The only thing I'm looking for is a slightly lower seat that would be more comfortable and a little bit lower to the ground. But if I don't find that I'll just keep what I got and ride

I bought the 883… I also have a fat bob.. my 883 is freaking FUN!!! It’s just right on power and I have ridden it all over Arizona. Anyone who doesn’t like them probably has an ego problem

Not a chance. Two totally different customer bases. HD may go down, but it won’t have anything to do with the Rebel 1100.
Yes, at $5k cheaper with 36 hp more and 76 foot lbs of torque . You can get the aftermarket exhaust on the Rebel and have a nice chunk of change leftover..

Wait a minute...top speed is 106 MPH? I've been on an '03 883 and hit 106. I still had throttle left, but I ran out of room with traffic on I4 heading east to push it higher. What happened to the top end?

@@sanketsinha4241 I've owned my 2011 Iron 883 from new, so I have a lot of experience of this model. Most owners get an aftermarket exhaust, either a full system like Vance & Hines Short Shots or they choose slip-on mufflers, I bought a pair of 2.5" Python slip-on mufflers, they give the Iron that true Harley sound. If you just change the mufflers you don't need to alter the fuelling but if you also change the air filter for a less restrictive unit, you must buy a fuel controlling device like a Fuel Pak or Power Commander to make sure your motor is getting enough fuel and so prevent premature engine wear and overheating. A lean running engine is a hot engine, a richer running engine is much cooler, that's what you want and your engine will last a lifetime.
I get around 65 MPG.

@@trippontwowheels just stock. Haven't done a stage 1 yet. I drive around a 150 Miles per week. It's my commuter bike. Open road two lane highway.8 miles to work. It's kind of twisty road. I just got to watch for deers and two big dogs that walk on the road now and then.

I live in the U.K. just looked at the HD 2021 bike lineup the Sportsters has Gone ,the EU bureaucratics have killed a legend Their cheapest Bike is the softail standard is £13000 - $17750 I can see them pulling out of Europe
You can still buy what old stock is left from last year. But that's it. No plans to replace it either.
That's why the sportster was the 3rd biggest selling model.at the end of the year. When it's not normally in the top ten.
You r not even part of the EU since 1.1.2021. Got my sportster at 17.12.2020 tho 🇳🇱 just try and get a low miles 2nd. Def worth it.

I paid £5000 for a new 883 back in 89. Then paid another £250 to jack i up to 1200 wiseco pistons. God knows what the cost is now.??

The 883 dinosaur didn't evolve and is now extinct. Any idea what's going to replace entry level models? Please build them in the States not India.
The Iron is built in the states, it’s the HD Street 750 that’s not built in the states
Too bad they jacked up the price of the Iron 883 so close to the 1200 that it's like they don't really want to sell the 883 they just want to use it to pull you into the 1200.
Besides that the whole 2021 reveal was a big disappointment.
