As a builder of almost 30 years, what impresses me the most is how undaunted you appear to be in the face of a job like this alone. I wouldn't even consider raising that beam or installing the drywall alone. Yet you did it. Along with the inwall services, plastering, painting, everything! You're a jack of all trades.... Master of many trades too
The original expression is rarely fully quoted but it goes like this: A jack of all trades and a master of none, but still better always than a master of one.
mirriors , landmine, speedball to go with the bag, squat rack, couple of decent bars inlcuding a ez bar, a foam padded matt maybe for stretching on or press ups etc --- just bit by bit to really fill in and use this awesome space
I'm always thankful when you upload! Been a fan since you started the campervan reno! I hope we will get too see an update on that and the amazing deck you started to build on your barn/shop.
Great to have you back, you have been missed. Your projects have been wonderful to watch. Hope the family is well and look forward to more projects and see if others worked out. Thanks for sharing, know you are busy. Best wishes.
Bonjour Justin et Kelly so grateful to see a new and exciting vidéo unloaded. as ever, your work ethic speaks highly of your skill and passion. wishing lots of time to create more vidéo. cheers from the north of France
I’m never disappointed. Justin, in one upload, you single-handedly inspired folks to get into a gym and also showed us the power of making something with you hands. ( “I want dumbbells … so I’ll make them… I need a place to put them.. I’ll make a rack… I need a place to store it all… I’ll make a gym.”… and brother man, you also made my day. Thank you, sincerely for another upload… I appreciate the time and work you put in.
Awesome creative force! Thanks for sharing! No worries on the frugal thing! When you get more and spend less...it's always a win! Everyone now and then, I'll look up at the ceiling in my shop/garage/man cave and chuckle at the 12 simple light bulb bases I used. As the build progressed and I could afford more, I installed 5 led panels underneath my mezzanine storage area. Just one of those panels costs as much as the ceiling lights! Lol! But, it works and I appreciate the humble beginnings...it's a highly functional/fun place to be! But really...so well done on the design and build of that gym! Just amazing what you do and figure out! Best to you and the family and Happy New Year!
Nice work! I know nothing about carpentry or measurements. I am in the process of putting up wood on an accent wall in my garage for a gym. It was a lot harder than I thought. So I appreciate your skills in this video.
Absolutely amazing video, i love how relaxed and focused your videos feel, its hard to come by videos that dont make you feel like you're Going through a fever dream. If I were to add something to the space, I would've added a mirror along one of the walls. It would make the space feel even bigger. And you could also invest in a cable machine, i know they're only really popular amongst bodybuilder types, but you can get a really nice workout with one.
In my experience remodeling my house, get the longest sheets of drywall that you can. They even make them wider than 48”. There are tools to help move them, or get some help, but still way better to have less joints to tape and spackle.
Happy New Year. Hopefully you had a happy Holidays. It's coming along nicely. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Keep Making. God Bless.
Great build. I'm guessing that the tin roof already had a ridge vent (most I've seen do as part of the design)? If not you will want to add it so that humidity from the gym can dry out of the roof insulation... Condensation will be forming against the metal in the winter.
Awesome gym! Man renting a little 19’ scissor lift would’ve saved a ton of work and time for sure, but I guess you got a nice workout in doing everything the hardest way possible! 😂 💪🏼
Could you have strapped the beam to the forks and just driven it in from the end? I know my tractor wouldn't have supported that weight that far out, but not sure how heavy the fork lift is.
Craigslist, Re-Store, DAV, Harbor Freight... it's not how much you make. It's how much you keep! And as long as the only person you're measuring yourself against is the man you were yesterday, who cares what anyone else thinks! Oh, and if the wife is happy, anyone else can suck it! Keep up the good work, young man!
What an awesome project. I’ve been wanting to do something just like this. Thanks for some tips. And it’s great to see you back on UA-cam! I always enjoy your videos.
I don't believe that I've ever seen you make something that turned out bad at any point 🤔. From you doing the Halloween decorations in the barn right upto you making your own dumbbell sets etc, everything just seems to go great. Good to see you back uploading videos I just wish you would upload way more often !!! As alway's buddy 💯 % 👍 🇬🇧.
Great video as always! This project is something I actually might do. You have given me so many great projects over the years and I enjoy your style and composition. Keep up the great work!
Very nice space! Your stall mats look really tight so hopefully they stay put. Mine separated a little so I used Gorilla tape to secure the seams. It looks and works great.
Being able to jack that drywall with that tool LOOKS like a breeze. Good to know that tool is out there. I might build some fun projects on my account!
Great space I think you should definitely invest a cable pulling machine just like having dumbbells there’s so many different combinations and exercise you can do with a cable machine.
really 3k??? you are pretty skilled, just paying a professional painter to paint wouldve been close to that, let alone the drywall, trusses, etc. that's amazing, also as a professional painter, you brushed that door in and that beam, great form, i appreciated that.
I highly recommend installing a large mirror on one of the walls. It will make the space feel so much bigger.
Ironically i don have space for that either
Makes it easier to monitor your post workout puuuuuuuuuump
@@andrewwastaken2 yea buddy light weight
Mirrors are bad for a real training! Only for the narcists
@@ruudwijnen1 they are extremely helpful for monitoring form. This statement is incredibly stupid.

No doubt!
@@HazItMade Funny you say that because I had never heard the last half of the saying until now.
always a joy to watch as usual. would love an update on the camper van
Doing more in one video than most UA-camrs do in an entire "series." Well done, sir.

This space came together really nicely! Horse stall mats are a great little tip that I'll for sure be stealing. Great to see your videos again!
Looking amazing, thank you for sharing your videos during 2022. God bless you and your family.
Missed your videos and mellow narration. Nice work and I know a physical struggle at times.
Thank you for coming back, hope all is well!

Is there anything this guy can't do?! Amazing skills.
Huge respect for doing all of it alone!!! The end result? Stunning

You know, the one good thing about COVID is that I was forced to build a home gym and I absolutely do not regret it. What a nice luxury to have!
I love it when it rains. It means we get videos.
Hoping Drake is alright, I missed seeing him in this video. Nice space, opening up the roof area made a big difference.
I like how the video isnt 30min long explaining every little detail, good job it looks clean
would have never thought of replacing trusses with a ridge beam in my garage! Wow that is awesome!
If only our renovation company had worked as hard on our house as you did you home gym, looks phenomenal!
Nice work! I know nothing about carpentry or measurements. I am in the process of putting up wood on an accent wall in my garage for a gym. It was a lot harder than I thought. So I appreciate your skills in this video.
Awesome set up!
Great job!
Now get in there and train like Mr Olympia!!!
great project and amazing result! also nice to see how you manage to re-use and recycle stuff, great!
Love your narration, you put so much emotion in your descriptions.
You crushed this build. Taking notes and action soon on my own build.
The satisfaction when you set the trim frame in place was something else 😮💨🔥

You lost me at “I enjoy putting up drywall every once in awhile.” 😂 great job!
Glad to see you posting again. Happy New Year
Always a joy to see a new video from you. Great reasult.
You always impress me with your projects and youe videos. I am sure you have a very busy life but I always wish I could see more of your videos.
Beautiful work and a beautiful video.
The amount of work put into this gym is more than many put into their houses.
Thank you as always for your Art!
No amount of time between drywall projects is long enough for me to enjoy them. haha

Mr. Precision. Love your work 😊
So happy you are back!!
Wow, I'd say the construction and moving equipment that you've already got a good workout.
Looking forward to seeing the finished space.
Very nice work! Having a nice space setup makes working out so much more enjoyable.
That Jack thing you used to help you lift the drywall is awesome!
Love seeing any project you do!
Nice work! Enjoy the new gym.
Fantastic build! Looking forward to seeing the squat rack put in...
So happy you’re back! Happy new year!
i'm always impressed with the things you can do, WOW! looks awesome. and I know how much hard work all that was, but you make it look so easy
Glad to see you back!
That beam would have been a good time to call Bourbon Moth for a hand! 🤣 He could have brought the Foreman, too.
That gym looks great!!!!
That’s an amazing space, thanks for the video! As always, looking forward to the next 🤙.
Happy New Year!
1st class job as always.
Wish you had time for more videos... Love watching your projects..
Starting off the new year right, awesome work and keep up the videos!
Wow what a difference! Looks great!
Wow, this is raw and awesome!
Deserve another watch ....good job

Talk about an awesome makeover! That was awesome dude
So joy to see you again ❤️
home gym, lasercutter, own forklift. this men is living the dream ;)
Well done, mate. I'd put a big mirror on one of the walls to be able to control the technique during exercises.
Looks amazing. I am so happy that you’re posting again. Great work!
looks great buddy, awesome job and awesome video

best of luck

Nice transformation. I highly recommend buying some cheap panel carriers. Work great for plywood and osb as well.
So glad you’re back
If you are back in Ireland, will you redecorated my house. That work is great..
You've got so many great skills, it's really amazing seeing people who can work really hard and do many different trades all at once.
Its a good day when a new Rainfall Projects video comes out
Great job bud 🤙
Great job, keep up the good work!

another project. I really liked the studio space you build previously.
That's a super nice gym! I would love to have something like that.
Now, I can't wait to see how you're going to cut and weld a squat rack ;)

You do such awesome work. Always enjoy your videos and seeing the farm. Happy New Year!
Keen for the squat rack build!
Nice video again...nice result 😁
With a calisthenic bar and some weights I already have my perfect train spot
Great work. Have a look on Untamed Strength, he has tips & advice on joining the mats to stop them lifting at the joins.
Great space I think you should definitely invest a cable pulling machine just like having dumbbells there’s so many different combinations and exercise you can do with a cable machine.

Great job! It makes me feel bad for my own diy gym! You could built a power rack next.
Alright!! New vid. Keep them coming!
Can't miss a video!!
Well done man 🦘🦘🦘
Forgot I was watching a gym build until I saw you pull the Mats in 😂 Might as well build yourself a house next! 🤯
Nice clean space!
love this channel already
You've always had great metal working skills, but your carpentry skills are catching up quickly! Well done.
Amazing job!
