As a builder of almost 30 years, what impresses me the most is how undaunted you appear to be in the face of a job like this alone.
I wouldn't even consider raising that beam or installing the drywall alone.
    Yet you did it.
Along with the inwall services, plastering, painting, everything!
You're a jack of all trades....
    Master of many trades too

I’m never disappointed. Justin, in one upload, you single-handedly inspired folks to get into a gym and also showed us the power of making something with you hands. ( “I want dumbbells … so I’ll make them… I need a place to put them.. I’ll make a rack… I need a place to store it all… I’ll make a gym.”… and brother man, you also made my day. Thank you, sincerely for another upload… I appreciate the time and work you put in.

Awesome creative force! Thanks for sharing! No worries on the frugal thing! When you get more and spend less...it's always a win! Everyone now and then, I'll look up at the ceiling in my shop/garage/man cave and chuckle at the 12 simple light bulb bases I used. As the build progressed and I could afford more, I installed 5 led panels underneath my mezzanine storage area. Just one of those panels costs as much as the ceiling lights! Lol! But, it works and I appreciate the humble beginnings...it's a highly functional/fun place to be! But really...so well done on the design and build of that gym! Just amazing what you do and figure out! Best to you and the family and Happy New Year!

Absolutely amazing video, i love how relaxed and focused your videos feel, its hard to come by videos that dont make you feel like you're Going through a fever dream.
If I were to add something to the space, I would've added a mirror along one of the walls. It would make the space feel even bigger. And you could also invest in a cable machine, i know they're only really popular amongst bodybuilder types, but you can get a really nice workout with one.

In my experience remodeling my house, get the longest sheets of drywall that you can. They even make them wider than 48”. There are tools to help move them, or get some help, but still way better to have less joints to tape and spackle.

Great build. I'm guessing that the tin roof already had a ridge vent (most I've seen do as part of the design)? If not you will want to add it so that humidity from the gym can dry out of the roof insulation... Condensation will be forming against the metal in the winter.
