DUDE!!!!!! It looks incredible, I cant thank you enough for taking the time and effort to put this together. Its going to help solve a few serious issues with my studio setup.
Beautiful work! I have made a lot of studio furniture over the years and though it seems to have worked out OK for the gear in the video, i would never make my racks exactly 19" . i always give each dimension an extra 1/8". some panels are a little oversize and the holes on most gear are oval and the extra 1/8 wont cause problems.
Natura Onecoat is great and if you want more sheen a second coat does wonders for getting that extra shine but still being closer to a satin finish than a dull matte and yet you still have the look and feel of the natural wood finish.
I think you're less likely to snap off the bolt head or majorly cross thread the bolt if you've got the clutch dialed in low. I was mostly just driving the bolts in and then tightened them by hand.
One of those inexpensive 10" battery powered chainsaws are perfect for breaking down that super thick material. I'm sure you can find one that works with one of the battery systems you have.
Dude, come on. That is beyond harsh. Yes, I sell shit in my videos just like every other UA-camr, it's how we make a living. Product placement is part of every media production industry. You're watching these videos for free, how do you expect them to get made otherwise? You've been subscribed to me for 7 years (according to the icon on UA-cam), it really makes me bummed to hear this kind of criticism from a long time subscriber. Happy holidays.

Thanks man, excited to deliver it and check out your studio space!
So true about wood knots always soaking up more epoxy than you think! Love this desk, Johnny!
Nice work as usual Johnny, looks like the new workshop is working well for you.
Thanks, I'm enjoying the new space, still have some things I want to get dialed in but feeling like home for sure.
You and Rhett is the best crossover ever!

Yea I thought about doing a second coat. Do you sand between coats?
@ same as a second coat of Rubio, just sand or buff using the maroon pad.
Beautiful desk!
Terrific build! Gotta love that Walnut! 👍👍🔨🔨
Definitely my favorite!
It's a small thing, but that ring that jumps off the finish had me chuckling @23:13 🤣🤣
lol I definitely wasn't expecting that!
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to you too!
Hey Johnny! You mentioned using a drill with clutch instead of an impact driver for the threaded inserts with the c-channel, may I ask why that is?
I think you're less likely to snap off the bolt head or majorly cross thread the bolt if you've got the clutch dialed in low. I was mostly just driving the bolts in and then tightened them by hand.
Awesome desk. Where did you get the rack mounts from?
May i ask where to find the 3 wheel shop casters you used to move this gorgeous table around your shop?
Harbor Freight, they work well and are dirt cheap.
where do you get the c-channel
Added links to the video description, thanks for the reminder!

Why didn’t I think of that?! I have a battery powered chainsaw already. Good idea!
Every single UA-cam woodworker doing standing desk projects
I really can not believe this guy has over one million subs. He is just a product salesman. No talent....
