Hey Jay, Best gym set up ever seen! Question for you: with your Rogue 9 bar holder, is there any concern about scratching the sleeves. I know it is not UHMW on the inside so very interested to know if it does damage your bars?
Thank you! I don’t have any concerns about it scratching. It’s machined pretty smooth with no jagged edges. When you put weight on the bar technically it’s being rubbed against metal. I don’t really put my “good” bars in it though. They stay on the benches for the most part.
I am impressed that you took safety seriously with side bars on the bench press and squat exercises. I too have the monolift bar holders which are a luxury attachment, since they swing back when lifting the bar, I don't step back for squats. My ATX-810 6-post rack has dual cable pulleys, 2x weight stacks of 125 kg. I added a pulley wheel and cable sections to give me 3 options for me: upper, middle (to my body dimensions), and lower. I keep the lat pull-down seat (left front) and dip attachment (right front) on the rack all of the time, between them is the pull-up grid bar. You have a lot more room than I have in my condo. Living and dining room furniture had to go for the equipment to fit in. I use the dropblocks so as to not drop the dumbbells on the floor. At the end, I made a spreadsheet to keep track of what I bought and what each cost. Some of your viewers might value a spreadsheet for them to fill in.
Thanks! Yeah it would actually be cool to have a bunch of different parts to try and piece other things together. Nothing wrong with some grown up legos. 😊
that s a nice gym. great size too. but i bet you at some point you'll end up placing the rhino on one of those 49 inch racks and you ll end up buying a leg press/ hack squat... of some sort...
Thanks for the encouragement and support! Took me a lot of years to get where I’m at. I just hope to bless others with as much information from my experience as possible. Plus people that know me locally get to use it every week too! ☺️
Amazing set-up! Really appreciate you making this video! What adjustable bench do you prefer, the Prime Adjustable or the Rogue Adjustable Bench? Thanks for the time!
They both have their uses. I typically use the prime bench with the Prime HLP Rack or dumbbells. For heavy dumbbells or barbell work I prefer the Rogue Adjustable Bench. Prime is more comfortable, the Rogue feels more sturdy under a lot of weight.
@@jaycruz.threefold thank you, sir! Very appreciative for that. I’m getting the rogue competition flat bench for heavy benching, it’s going to be a game time decision on the prime adjustable vs rogue adjustable bench but your opinion definitely helps. I’ve already pulled the trigger on the Prime Trap bar and the full HLP Selectorized Rack - you right!! it’s just soooo good and versatile for a home gym. Thanks again for taking the time to put this info out there…it’s difficult finding real world reviews of all the Prime gear. Keep crushing it!
PLEASE link the mirrors!!! I'm trying to do the same setup with glass mirrors. I was gifted, but I don't trust my kids, and I wanna do the led lights behind it as well, but again, no one is as graceful as I am😅
Hi Jay! Could you please let me know the parts & pieces needed for the entire Stall Bars set up on your wall? That would be so awesome to know I am not missing anything when ordering!
@@trinabourassa3348 I think since making that video, Rogue now offers a 3.0 version that comes with everything you need for less than I bought all the parts for. The only think you’ll need to buy outside of that is the backer boards I used to secure it to the studs.
Absolutely killing it!!!! 👏🫡 Would love to hear your thoughts on how the setup functions with multiple people in it and what you would change about the layout
Im foaming at the mouth at how premium everything in this gym is. Wow.
That’s got to be in the top 5 all time personal gyms. 😮
Thank you! My family and friends have been able to enjoy it as well so that makes it even better in my book!
Just wow! Could you provide the name and site where you got the mirrors from?

I have another video that will go over how I went about deciding what to get and placement for the space.
One of the best I've seen. Great done.
Warm up with some hoops straight to the workout - hell of a space
Thank you! Yup that’s exactly what we do some times. 😊
One of the best setups I’ve seen! Great space and edit! 😊
Thank you! I still need to work on personalizing the space. I’ll have that in future updates!
Awesome, enjoy!
Sweet dream gym!
Thank you!
Awesome gym.
Amazing gym! Thanks for sharing :)
Thank you! You’re welcome!
That setup with the bar holder and excess pieces is freakin sweet.... that looks like something they could absolutely sell on the site.

How do get any work done with a setup like that! I’d basically live in there! Congrats!
Well I live in there now. I’m personally training people a good portion of the day as well as my own workouts. 😳
Dopest setup I’ve seen so far 👍
Thank you!
this is great Jay
Thank you! I’m glad you like it. My family and friends are enjoying it a lot! ☺️
Now this is a “Dream Gym Tour”
This is the real dream home gym

@@cjjames83 you’re not wrong. I’m looking at the Prime Fitness leg press currently
Badass gym! Where is that deadlift trap bar from?
It’s a Prime Fitness open trap bar.
Finally took the time to watch this, Jay, this is incredible! The only thing I come close to you is that I have 680 pounds of calibrated plates 😅

Oh no! 3.0 is the Lite version not the Monster
What type of mirrors do you have? I didn't catch the name.
They are from a company called LiteMirror.
Hey Jay, can i ask you what are the dimensions of your gym (without badminton etc)?
The space that holds all the workout equipment is 25x45. The kitchenette and staircase take up a small portion of that space.
Thx for the answer. Have you created a floor plan with the machines ?

Come on buddy, the whole reason I made a home gym was because people kept doing things like putting their feet on the weights
