    Hey, Well done! I can pump 3 min on the AXIS 1310 but with a tiny Board..
    One thing through. It looks so damn slow the pumping speed. When I pump it looks al most double the speed of the foil in the water.. Did you check the ángel of the back wing because when its negative what it typically is it will cause resistance in the water but you get stability..

      Speed is always slow with the 1310. Average speed usually 15km/h to 16km/h average in flat water measured with Garmin fenix 7x. No shim used here with 460 tail.

    man that is so impressive. I'm dockstarting on a tiny kitefoil board and only getting about a minute of pumping (axis 1150). Truly inspiring in the potential available. I've never done sup or downwinding but after seeing this video I will be looking serioiusly at some kind of sup/downwind board. Any suggestions on what would work for a beginner sup/paddler with pump foiling experience? I'm 70kg. Thanks, Mike.

      You can do it! I would go for sup 20 to 30L above your weight in kg and take it from there. Also joining a group learning will help...

    Are u spending a lot of energy?

    • @Mickfoil1
      @Mickfoil1  Рік тому

      haha of course!! No energy to ride (no wind and no wave) so all the energy is from my body, super anaerobic workout!

      What fuse and stab do you use? I found the 1310 plagued by sudden stalls with 680fuse and my custom stab(which works fine on the 1150)

    • @Mickfoil1
      @Mickfoil1  Рік тому +2

      @@JohanFruend I use the advanced ultrashort and short fuse. Just get used to the 1310 and don't be so heavy on the pump to avoid stalls

      @@Mickfoil1 dob you notice much difference between the different fuses?

    • @Mickfoil1
      @Mickfoil1  Рік тому +1

      @@JohanFruend yes I do! Adv fuse more pitch sensitive and maneurvable. Short fuse more glide and less sensitive.
