He is right. Another way of putting it, is the act of creating the lie which says someone isn't human is a way to the resolve cognitive dissonance.

I want to study dehumanization in a more formal capacity and advocate against it.

This guys ego exists somewhere outside of the cosmic hierarchy entirely. His descent down the Scala Naturae to communicate with us subhumans is inspiring.

his lecture on the "Delusion of Race" is awesome. It should be taught in every high school in America. Regarding this particular topic, I think our 2nd Amendment can teach us volumes.

nororn cluber You're right. He is saying that de-humanizers are less than human, which is logically necessary if you start by pointing out that no righteousness is justifiable if it comes from thinking that you can decide for other people. BTW He mentions "working without recompense", but avoids working for others' profit in general. At one point does work stop being "dehumanizing"?

I like how he talks about everyone as having problems but his degrees maybe prove that he is perfect! There are millions of philosophers in this world who are more accurate than this guy! Philosophers should not be required to get a degree because we all have very deep thoughts and can come to a conclusion of a thing. This guy was on a documentary called, conspiracy rising. His thoughts on 9-11 were ridiculous! According to him even to believe in the Bible is a conspiracy. Conspiracy is just another word that they give to humans that don’t believe a thing happened the way another says it happened. So now, if we don’t believe the way they want us to believe, we are conspiracy theorist! There is truth in all things and falsity as well. If we are supposed to believe in a thing, give us solid truth and not philosophers that condemn us for believing the way we do!

This guy is just stating the obvious! I'm going to shave my head, slow down my speech and become a philosopher.
Now pay me; this comment is more profound than you can imagine.

This is another patriotic American misunderstanding history and the human mind in order to feel righteous. What horrible super-ego self-reproaches such a person might have that make him need to publicly flaunt his moral superiority can only be imagined. Certainly, at this and at the G-20 meeting he brags about addressing, he should have used better examples of "dehumanization". Hint: his own country.
